Hi Deli! I love seeing you get into gardening. I have been in the garden center industry for about 7 years now. Try putting the peace lily indoors. They do very well as a houseplant! They will wilt when you need to water them and then perk up once watered. For the outdoor plants, something I have learned - most plants in containers will perform better if you slowly size up the pot. For example, when you take them out of the nursery pots, size up only a few inches at a time. This helps prevent too much moisture in excess soil which can cause root rot. Once the plant is rooted to the bottom of that container, you can size up another few inches. It’s a slower process but it almost always pays off in the long run. Also, when “making the cake” with soils/compost/organic materials I always add my ingredients & mix everything in a large empty pot or tub that way you can just dump the mix into the container you’ll be planting. For larger containers you can always put some rocks, even plastics (like empty bottles) into the bottom to help with drainage and use up some extra room so you don’t have to fill it all with soil. ALSO try not to get water on the leaves of the plants, especially during the heat of the day. The water droplets can actually spread disease and cause the leaves to burn! I hope this makes sense and is somewhat helpful. Good luck! 😁
These are all perfect tips, especially putting rocks and (clean) recycled plastics in the bottom of large pots. You can also add a material called Pearlite to the soil to help with plants that need help with retaining water.
Hi I actually disagree on the water in the leaves thing! I work in agriculture, and during the hottest part of the day we like to water our seedlings/ plants to cut down on the ambient temperature and reduce their évapotranspiration rate! I’ve never had problems burning my plants. I live in a Mediterranean climate (south of france), so it can easily get up to 35,40 in the summer
It’s helpful to check your plant hardiness zone for your area when keeping plants outside! Always buy pots with a good amount of drainage holes (helps if you have overwatered). Stick your finger in the potting soil to determine when to water your potted plants! There is no set schedule when watering plants - it is dependent on weather/humidity (including indoor plants.) Plants need time to acclimate (~2 weeks) to a new environment. And don’t be afraid to ask for advice from your local garden center worker on watering/direct sun/potting mix each plant needs and when to repot! ❤️
With your plants there is always a reason that it’s unhappy. The main issues are soil, position, and water. Check the PH. Also the fertiliser can corse the plant to go into shock if it’s too close to the base of the plant. Move your pots around and see if your plant prefers more sun or less, the weather could also be a factor. If ur frowning funguses/ mold maybe needs more airflow plus’s soil isn’t drying. Check what the watering routine, some plants like water but want to dry before being watered again. Just trim the tips of the leaves, this makes the, focuses on healing and keeps it alive. Don’t stress to much either, it’s fun and more successful if you wing it and observe the plants progress…doing a great job!😁
If your plants are looking stressed the seasol is always good to help them recover. The peace lilly should probably be inside. It us possible you over fertilised the salvia. Anyway gardening is a great learn as you go hobby. Everyone was a beginner at one time! ❤
I almost killed my peace lily and thought it would be happier outside and then it got worse! After repotting and bringing it back indoors after 3 months it is healthier than ever. Bottom watering is a saving grace technique for my peace lily to drink when she is is thirsty and prevents root rot. Great job and thanks for sharing
Hi Deli, Please put a second coat on your fence. It will help keep it protected from all the elements. It may cover it one but is recommended to have 2 coats.
You can tell that the peace lily needs water by hanging its leaves down. she knows what she wants :) I enjoy having her in my house and at office. give the leaves a nice shower for about five minutes, but if the water drains from the soil when you are giving the shower, you can cause it to lose the nutrients necessary for the flower in the soil. so keep the pot in such a way that the water comes only to the leaves, but does not drain from the soil. after the water in the leaves is absorbed after the shower, you can do some watering from the bottom and place it in a semi bright place that does not receive direct sunlight inside the house. i prefer pots with holes under them. after a short time, the flower will recover itself, but the loss of a few leaves is inevitable. cut off the bad leaves from the bottom. do the next watering from the bottom. and you are good to go :)
Oh and once the leaves die, cut them so they don't take away nutrients from the healthy leaves. Always prune at an angle. Lastly fungus can start growing if there's too much moisture. Make sure you're not over-watering. Other than that, all the plants look beautiful! You're doing an amazing job!

Peace lilies are so dramatic! She's probably just thirsty, they perk up after watering usually 😊 definitely keep going, you'll find you gardening groove! 💃
That bigger plant that you think is a peacelilly, is actually a bird of paradise plant (strelitzia) . Always cut of the dead/older leaves on any plants. Also, it’s natural for the older leaves to go brown and die since they completed their life span. The older leaves are the ones closer to the base of the plant!
One of the things I learned growing up in the south was to never water plants during the day or the afternoon. When you do the sun heats up the water and can scorch your plants. Also with your blackberries, I would make sure you have a trellis in the near future and maybe put it out in the yard unless you’re okay with it growing up against your wall. Some people take wilting plants indoors, and they’ll even bring them into their bathroom so that when they take a shower the humidity helps to water them but it’s not overwatering. My grandmother, who has a green thumb, constantly tells me and my cousins to never touch any plants with our bare hand when we are on our period, she says that because of the hormones that you’re producing you can actually caused the plant to wilt by touching it. You can boil orange peels down and create a natural bug repellent that’s safe for animals. My last tip is to paint a few berry shaped rocks to look like your strawberries so that birds will not pick them once they begin to mature.
Sometimes replanting plants as soon as you get them can cause root shock which can, in some cases, cause the plant to do. I would suggest when you buy new plants, to keep them in their nursery pots for at least a couple months before you think about repotting. Only when the plant becomes root bound, I would suggest repotting your plants
I watched these out of order, so that's why this is here (😅😂), but I wanted you to know Deli, how inspiring and therapeutic watching you garden is. 💙💙✨ You've inspired me to start gardening again, but this time I have sooooo much more and really went out on a limb and was brave about it, MOST in part due to you. 💙💙 ALSO, I redid my whole deck because the mental health aspect of it was inspiring and that has never looked better. Just appreciate you lots. Okay take care, lol!!
Just a heads up, the Olive, Lavender and some of the herbs are Mediterranean plants and they don't like sitting in wet and actually do best in poor soil so I would take them back out and mix in about 50% gravel. You will need to drill holes in the pots if they don't have any as most plants will die if the roots are sat in water as they start to rot. This may be the reason for the fungus if the soil is too wet and doesn't have time to dry out between watering/rain. Just as a side note... how do you Garden with Australian Wildlife? I would be terrified of spiders and things. Do you try to discourage spiders by brushing the webs away etc.?
Peace lily's are one of the biggest drama queens of the plant world 😂 give it a good soak whenever it looks like that and it'll perk up. I mostly know how to treat indoor plants, but the climate here is quite different so I'm not sure what other advice to give anyway. We all kill some plants, but most survive as long as there is some green left or the wood is alive (in the olive tree etc.) The garden looks great already 🥰
I’m Hungarian and my Grandma used to make potato cakes like that. It used to be a food for the poor during WW2 as you only need cheap and very basic ingredients to make it :-)
Deli you totally should put some black or red mulch down in those little cut outs in your deck with those trees, it looks so cute already put that would make them pop!🤗 So jealous of your garden!!
Everything looks lovely! My only advice is maybe to plant the carrots directly in the ground, because they don't like to be replanted, it makes them short and misshapen. I am happy for you and your new garden!
With your larger peace Lilly I would cut the dying leaves off so it doesn’t waste energy in those leaves and puts the energy out to new growth. The same with the oregano. It’s important to cut off the dead so the new and come up. 😀 I got into gardening a few years ago and I love it! It’s so fun watching things come to life. 🌱
Last summer we painted my parents fence that colour. And then we did two shades lighter for the deck in the front and back. And then painted the garage door and the front door and back door the same colour as the fence. 🇨🇦
Some berries will need to be planted in pairs or they will die 😊 try and take the lily indoors, they are an excellent houseplant 💪🏼 also if leaves "die" cut them off so they wont use any energy from the healthy ones. Use fertilize water once to every 2 weeks in spring and summer.
The peace Lilly is more of a indoor plant with lots of natural light instead of being outside. Don’t over water also. All your plants need to be in pots that have well drainage. If possible drill a hole underneath the pots. To help. Strawberries need a crazy amount of water and need to be in full sun . Check what time of the year all your plant grow in and make sure They are getting the correct amount of sunlight.
Little friendly tip; when watering try and not get the plant itself wet (like the leaves and flowers) TBH I don't really know why but it's something my grandma always reminded me when I was watering her garden for her. 😃
Roots and Refuge has really good gardening advice she has a video about germinating carrots. I can’t wait to see your garden as is grows and gets established. It’s so exciting to get to grow things.
I truly love your "life journey" vlogs! I'm super interested in your eating and exercise journey, love the house updates, so fun to see your new adventures, like with gardening. Honestly, anything sharing what you do in a day/week etc. is fun and Bowser and James are so entertaining! Do so much more of this!!!
Raised garden beds is the way to go for your vegies. I like them because you can move them if you find you dont have the right postion lets you discover the places certain plants grow best in your garden. Bunnings and Mitre 10 have cheap ones in various sizes. The plants you currently have that look like they are struggling perhaps move them into a spot shielded from the wind some plants dont like high exposure to the wind. But it is trial and error.
Looks great! Be sure to keep the peace lily out of reach from Bowser if he shows any interest in snacking on the plants. Can be toxic for pets. My pets don't show interest in plants but I know friends who have had unfortunate trips to the vet.
I feel like you could totally get an old bathtub or something and fill it with veggies and make it look cool. We did it one summer and filled it all with strawberries and it was so good. Even cherry tomatoes in there would be cool :).
If you put plastic wrap over your new seedlings it will create a humid environment and they will grow faster. also if you trim the leaves off plants that look a little dead, or rusty as you called it, then they will grow better.
I actually had a first date painting, haha. It was actually pretty nice, you don't really have to talk if you don't want to. We ended up together. I was moving and he offered to help, that was funny, but he wasn't otherwise available, so I tried it out and it ended up being fun.
I'd suggest finding a family run or like super local garden nursery and making sure they only have plants that can survive the climate you live in. Figure out local pests and pet safe solutions to deter them :) congrats and good luck.
I'm loving the new vlog channel!! f you sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top of the soil it'll help keep the fungi from growing, sometimes fungi grows because the soil is kept moist and isn't allowed to dry in between waterings ❤️ with peace and love
Looks like you are doing okay with the plants, looks like they just need regular watering and pruning back the dead leaves as you'll find they'll put their energy into new leaves, even if they look bare to start with they'll recover quickly. Just don't go cutting them with the cooler weather if it drops too low as the plant can go into shock
I love your beautiful planters, however if they don't have a drainage hole it's gonna get a lot more difficult dealing with the plants since the water have no place to go it can keep sitting in the pot for a very long time without us even knowing. Which can be very harmful to plants and cause the roots to rot. If you have to use planters without drainage it is good to have rocks for example at the bottom of the planter so the roots and soil is not sitting in it. If a small plant with a small root system is in a very large container, risk of developing root rot is also a lot higher since the soil takes longer to dry up. I just felt I needed to comment this. Happy gardening!
Lol where also using monument to do out back yard painting the gutters as well as our newly built pergola with decking. My dad wants to paint the back fences as well but I am not sure the contrast is dark enough to make out new plants pop.
Thanks for the video !!😍 For gardening tips: all plants needs specific treatments, and sometimes the most “easy” plant are just easy because they don’t want you to help them, and if you help too much (too much water, too much sun, too much “food”) it dies. 🤓 RIP to all my plants I killed… Also I am level 5 in gardening, not an expert, but I always cut the dead parts of my plants, so that they don’t need to put their strength into something useless. It turns out I can take care of them and they enjoy it very much 🌱🌱🍀
Yay! I'm so glad you made a vlogging channel. 🎉 It's so nice watching you guys working on your home together. Also, girl! Your legs and skin look amazing!
A little late I know, and maybe someone has told you already, but I did a quick search and it didn't look like it. My tip is that I've heard that most plants (or houseplants at least) don't like to get water on the leaves, so put water in the soil. I must admit I don't know the potential consequences beacuses I've always made sure not to water the leaves :D Thanks for the video
Hi heads up! 60-80 cm between cauliflower and cabbage plants ( they will get huge), (20 cm salades/ spinach, 50-60 tomatoes and peppers) and it’s the perfect time to plant brassicas :) maybe plant them directly on your grass or on the perimeter of your fence, digging a big hole and adding some extra potting soil and manure for nutrients. I recommend making a fenced off area in your garden and plant directly in your soil! You’ll get the most growth and yield and there are so many mushrooms and friends in the soil that help plant growth. Plants can’t grow without their décomposer friends! Your berries are naturally going to lose their leaves for the winter and go into dormancy. Check the soil with your finger for humidity and water the soil when it’s dry. A good tip for watering is to fill a bucket with water and let your pots marinate in that water for 10-15 minutes so they get water from the roots up. If your pots have good drainage holes you won’t have to worry about root rot. Also, since you added manure and not fertilizer I recommend adding a liquid fertilizer to your plants for the first few weeks and they get settled in their pots. It takes some time for the nutrients in manure to break down and become available to your plants, and the bacteria work at first can actually cause a negative in nutrients! If you find some words go ahead and throw them in your pots as well :) Hopefully I’ve covered everything… it looks great and you’re doing amazing! Just keep loving on them and you’ll get the results you want
I'm currently on my third attempt and growing some veggies. Carrots I've failed twice, but am trying again! Snow peas are pretty hardy and you get a great harvest, brocolli has been successful also. Watch Bowser around the lilies, most if not all lilies are toxic to animals. Garden is looking great though, but those cabbages will definitely need a whole lot more room to grow. I tried growing 6 minis in a 950 x 350 planter and they didn't have enough space. Am trying just 3 in there this year, so fingers crossed.
We usually use horse manure so that it doesn't give of a weird smell i think it's horse manure not sure but it is a bit more easy on the nose 🌻And you are doing an amazing job Deli 🌻
It’s STILL winter here, can’t wait for warmer weather but I think I’ll start some flower seeds and see what happens, this was a really relaxing video to watch and get inspired.
I'm jealous! I was sitting here wishing I could pot the plants with you! LOL Reminded me of my dad! For the Lily, you really only have to water about once a week. You definitely don't want to over water.
No gardening advice from me but it looks so peaceful and calming in your garden, love the design and colours. Bowza is like a stubborn old man isn't he 😄
Depending on the species, Salvia is a shade plant and not a direct sun sun plant. Also, plants need a lot of space, especially the fruit and veggie ones so some of your problems may be solved by more space.
A great gardener to watch is Self Sufficent Me, he's also in Australia. there's also Hue Richards, Lovely Greens, and MIGardener, oh and Epic Gardening. I watch all of them, and they all have such great content.
Deli I'm so proud of you for tying your hand with gardening. I have a true passion for plants and I Love how many people are trying out gardening and realizing how easy it truly is. My biggest tip for you, plants WANT to grow. It s designed to do it. Listen to your plants when they start showing signs they need water, like very slight drooping, water. In most cases it's better to water deep, so like low and slow with the water, then to water a little every day. Potting soil is Designed to hold the moisture well so it takes more water than you would think to actually get it moist all the way through.
You have some great advice so far! I would say the Salvia definitely got overwatered. It's harder for any plant to make it out alive with overwatering than underwatering. Also, try to water in the morning to allow soil to dry out during day. You will become more confident as you do trial and error! It's fun! The carrot thing reminded me that 2yrs ago, I grew no successful carrot. Last year, I had 1 successful carrot from an entire row. This is my carrot year, I'm hoping lol
Hi Deli, longtime follower of deligracy, and love your vlogs! Glad you've made a new channel focused on them. :) Would love to see more gardening, cooking, working out, and home improvement videos! Maybe some sightseeing videos if/when you travel could be exciting too.
I can't count the amount of "easy" plants I killed tbh, while doing great first try with supposedly "tough" ones! I don't have much advice for garden plants, except to not get discouraged if you happen to kill some (or most). Gardening really is trial and error where you naturally get better at it the longer you do it. I love watching your vlogs and am so glad that you now have a whole channel dedicated to them! Wishing you plentiful harvests ❤❤
Id pot the lavender into a clay pot, my dads a gardener and always said if you cant put them in the ground use a clay pot, with good drainage as they dont like water logged soil and you can over fertilise so maybe that could be a problem too
I’m not sure about Australia, but in the UK peace lilies are really popular indoor plants. It might be wilting a bit due to sun exposure? They prefer bright indirect light :) also love the new channel Deli :)
I would definitely get in touch with Pretty Pastel Please about the plants! She also lives in Austrailia, I don't know what she grows specifically but I do know she has a garden and may be able to give some tips especially because you may be in the same area!
I had some pointers but saw others already said everything I wanted to say. Overall I think it all looks beautiful and it makes me so happy to see you living your best life! The pot choices are super chic and it looks like you guys are well on your way to a nice outdoor space. I can see you having some raised beds in the yard in the future for veggies! Edited to add: you should check out square foot gardening. We have 2 acres so we do in ground gardening but I've heard good things about the square foot method.
Deli: surprisingly it doesnt even smell that bad. me in the most southern tone possible: GET IT WET! every time it rains here on the cow field, it smells like fresh cow patty:) lol
Be careful with the peace lily and Bowser! It's primarily toxic to cats but it can be toxic to dogs as well. Also, raised gardens are best for fruits/veggies since it gives them enough space to grow.
Hey deli, when you're watering the plants, make sure to just water the soil and not the leaves. The water drops will acts like lenses and the sun is going to burn the leaves, if they get wet. With peace and love! ❤️
Sometimes it's all about the location of the plant. Certain herbs will die on one side of my yard and thrive on the other. I'm guessing it's relative to the sun.
Love the idea of you having this second channel focused on your vlogging. Your lifestyle videos became my favorite on your original channel. Looking forward to the adventure! Edit: gardening is so special in my family as well and is a connection to my Nana for me. I actually mentioned her in a stream of yours that I had to say goodbye to her recently. You spoke about saying goodbye to your grandpa as well. She did pass last week from cancer. But gardening keeps her close to my heart and on my mind. 💜
You are starting out strong. From a horticulturalist. Ideally you should wear a mask, sugar cane on top to help keep moisture in the soil. Very basic rule for watering, if the leaves feel crunchy they need water, if the leaves feel wet I guess then they are over watered.
The Salvia is a plant that likes mediterranean soil. Good drainage (are there holes in de bottom of your pots?). Put some drainage rocks in your pot, like lava stones or terracotta chippings. Fill like half your pot with good drainage stones. Put in your salvia and fill in with soil. No manure, that's too rich. I think your salvia has been "killed by drowning".
I have had a roommate plant cabbage and carrot seeds in the garden bed at my old apartment during spring, and nothing grew that whole summer, or autumn, so we figured the seeds germinated and died, and my roommate moved out at the end of winter. For the next two years of us living there, we continually had carrots popping up every spring and summer and the cabbage would randomly pop up and get eaten by the slugs we got every year. I took a peak at the garden bed at my old apartment recently since it is viewable from a major road nearby where I work, and I moved into a house in the next city, and sure enough I saw the carrot flowers blooming 3 ft high, and the natural nightshade that always popped up in that garden bed. So carrots apparently do well when you completely neglect them for a year or so lol (...at least where I live.) However, I must add I do live in a state (US) where you can forage wild carrots and wild onions, but I am taking the gardening knowledge I have now and running with it for my garden at my new home.
Me, happily thinking Deli was drawing a smiley face: 🥰
Deli: 😏

Lol yes this was classic 👌
ahaha me too

You will become a better gardener with every plant you kill lol. It's a process, but everyone kills quite a few plants in the beginning!
Hi Deli! I love seeing you get into gardening. I have been in the garden center industry for about 7 years now.

Excellent tips in here! My mum is an avid gardener and she taught me all these things too 💕 thank you for posting!
Thanks for you help and suggestions! So much to learn!
I did laugh seeing the leaves so wet. Even though it's pretty only the roots can use up the water so it's wasteful and potentially harmful

Ground Cinnamon is my go to for any fungus/mold on the soil of my potted plants. Works amazingly!
Bowser is a mood. He's just like, "Painting here? No thanks. I live here."
The peace lily should revive itself with some water. That’s how they tell you if they need water. Enjoyed the vlog!!
Peace lily's are soo dramatic when they're thirsty 😂🤣
@@SupergirlUK YES i love my peace lilies but they are sooo dramatic
You could also put it inside but in a bright window!
@@kaitlynbuquoi7132 thats what i started to do a month ago and its better !
I water mine from the bottom (the pot sits in a tray) and it seems to like that more than being watered from the top.

If you are looking to establish good root growth, grow bags are a good option. Not as pretty as pots, but when the root reaches the edge of a grow bag it senses oxygen and the roots grow down.
The peace Lilly looks like it has either been over or under watered. Another thing to check is that it is getting moderate, inderect sunlight.
Remember that plants go through shock after being planted (look like they're dying) , so give them a while to rehabilitate and come back to life. That said, doesn't mean all will recover..

big tip when watering, if it sunny on the planet, water the dirt only. you will fry the leaves if you get water on them in the sun.
Love the new channel. "Gardening level 2" 🤣 So funny!
Watching from America 😘 loved this & got to learn more about Aussie culture 🥳
Happy gardening!
so glad you went for it and started a vlog channel ! thanks for taking us along on your daily adventures :-)
Yaaassss I am so happy about your vlog channel!
Lol where also using monument to do out back yard painting the gutters as well as our newly built pergola with decking. My dad wants to paint the back fences as well but I am not sure the contrast is dark enough to make out new plants pop.
I'm in LOVE with those pots!!!
😂 I always pick up the one bent fork in my house. I kind of love it now.
Thanks for the video !!😍
For gardening tips: all plants needs specific treatments, and sometimes the most “easy” plant are just easy because they don’t want you to help them, and if you help too much (too much water, too much sun, too much “food”) it dies. 🤓 RIP to all my plants I killed…
Also I am level 5 in gardening, not an expert, but I always cut the dead parts of my plants, so that they don’t need to put their strength into something useless. It turns out I can take care of them and they enjoy it very much 🌱🌱🍀
Hi Delli. Gardening Australia has some great videos on RUclips.
Yay! I'm so glad you made a vlogging channel. 🎉 It's so nice watching you guys working on your home together. Also, girl! Your legs and skin look amazing!
Thank you ❤️❤️😀
A little late I know, and maybe someone has told you already, but I did a quick search and it didn't look like it.
If you find some words go ahead and throw them in your pots as well :)
Hopefully I’ve covered everything… it looks great and you’re doing amazing! Just keep loving on them and you’ll get the results you want
Your salvia might just be going dormant!
With berry bushes some varieties need very specific plant partners for cross pollination.
I love it how you refer your gardeningskill as a Sim Gardening Skill Level 2 haha!
Absolutely loved watching this, thanks for sharing....
No gardening advice from me but it looks so peaceful and calming in your garden, love the design and colours. Bowza is like a stubborn old man isn't he 😄
what? potato salad?? with dressing!! oh noo James 😂😂
I loveee self sufficient me!
@@migglep OMG I just found him because of your comment. He's great. Thank You
Deli I'm so proud of you for tying your hand with gardening.
Your patio looks so fun. Reminds me of a reality tv show garden
I hope it is your carrot year! They sound difficult
You should replace the grass with clover! It's easy to maintain and stays green even when bowser goes on it, unlike grass which turns yellow.
Hi Deli, longtime follower of deligracy, and love your vlogs! Glad you've made a new channel focused on them. :) Would love to see more gardening, cooking, working out, and home improvement videos! Maybe some sightseeing videos if/when you travel could be exciting too.
Awesome! I’ll see what I can do 😉
I can't count the amount of "easy" plants I killed tbh, while doing great first try with supposedly "tough" ones!
Yay! So excited for this new channel!
Id pot the lavender into a clay pot, my dads a gardener and always said if you cant put them in the ground use a clay pot, with good drainage as they dont like water logged soil and you can over fertilise so maybe that could be a problem too
James calling his fries & ketchup ~potato salad~ is awesome 👏😂 gonna have to use that one later
Hi Deli
I am not much of a green myself but would to be, a tip I was given is to water the soil not the leaves as the leaves can then get burnt by the sun
James is such a mood!!
I love gardening. You will want to check on each of your plants and see how much sun they like.
Love the white pots!
I think the big ” peace lily” is actually a bird of paradise.
Sometimes it's all about the location of the plant. Certain herbs will die on one side of my yard and thrive on the other. I'm guessing it's relative to the sun.
Yum! Aussie "Fush and Chups"!
I love the way you say Oregano in Australia. This channel is fun, I really like it.
Love your vlogs:) ty for sharing!!!!
English fish and chips look a little different and in the uk we call them potato fritters lovely vlog deli carnt wait for more 🥰🥰 xx
Beautiful garden! I love it!
I'm going on a gardening course to my self so excited got some baby's growing in the kitchen now still to cold here to plant them out side
Youve inspired me to start my front garden. Def gardening level 1 over here haha
Yayyyyy
So carrots apparently do well when you completely neglect them for a year or so lol (...at least where I live.)
However, I must add I do live in a state (US) where you can forage wild carrots and wild onions, but I am taking the gardening knowledge I have now and running with it for my garden at my new home.
Oh wow! That’s awesome
