    Great video.
In my mis-spent youth I used to roadie for bands. Spent a bit of time prepping for tours at a place called Meteorlites in Borehamwood. They had the custom built Bomber lighting rig that Motörhead used on stage. As they were close to the BBC they used to loan stuff out to them too. The Bomber rig once featured in a Doctor Who story. Stuck nose down in a quarry as a Cyberman drilling rig.

Me too, I saw them 13 times, wish it had been more than that in later years.

Classic era Motorhead is best Motorhead! It's a Bomber!

HI Adrian its an interesting model to make I think i would make it as a normal World War Two Heinkel Bomber with camouflage and markings it will be interesting to see it made as a Motörhead Bomber though good luck good video thanks 👍🏻

Thanks Bruce! I do have the normal version, so I'll be doing that too in the future.

I'd motor the props and run a power line from a battery under the stand through the wing roots. Wish I'd known Airfix did this because I've been a Motorhead fan for over 40 years and saw the classic lineup many times. (RIP Lem, Eddie and Phil)

To be honest, that didn't even enter my mind, and it would look awesome! However, I'm a danger to myself whenever anything electrical comes into play, and I'm more of a straight-out-the-box builder, so I'd probably mess it up spectacularly!! LOL!! The only difference between the Motorhead kit and the normal He 111 kit is the decals, so if you have the know-how or know someone who does, I'd get the Motorhead decals printed off on decal paper yourself.

@@AdrianBowerProject Not a bad idea that about printing my own decals if I can find someone who can scan the decals ( a plea on Brit modeler will probably turn something up) as I've got a He111 in the stash somewhere. I would follow your lead and mod the kit to look like the Motorhead bomber rather than the stock 111, god knows where I'll find the time as I have a big boys model kit on the bench just now. I'm in the middle of rebuilding/restoring my 1983 BMW R65Ls motorcycle

i think the only reason they put the ball turret on the art work is to justify getting the faces of all three members of the band in the aircraft. Hope all goes well with the build, look forward to seeing the final video :)
