You weakened the steel tube, yo have opened the tube to internal corrosion, you have reduced clearance and access which will increase debris jams and difficulty of clearing, you have massively increased the difficulty of replacing the wheel which you WILL have to do in less than 6 months. Did I get everything? At least we didn't have to watch you weld much in this one...

It seemed that structural integrity was what he was trying improve which could easily be done by adding a wide triangular plate to either/both sides to act as gussets. Problem solved.

The gate would be offset a little in front or behind the track, which may require other adjustments in the gate, but changing the height of the gate would require adjustments anyway.
Built a similar gate,, Cut a square relief hole at the bottom of the beam, and install the wheel up inside the beam, So just a small portion of the wheel was hanging below the beam..,, This way, the beam is blocking any opening to the ground to keep pets in the yard, Did not need that bracket. Then sprayed the inside of the beam with cavity wax to deter corrosion, And installed a Porsche wheel Bearing in the wheel , For a lifetime of performance...Is a 500 pound gate when finished..
Waste of time, weakened tube and cause internal rust. Was flat welded with tacks before, the only fault was bearing an shaft stiff from corrosion. Now you have that, along with the gate tube will break. Good job😢

А че так сложно то? Надо было ролик с осью снять со своего кронштейна, а в трубе сделать вырез и отверстие. Сварка вообще не нужна и зазор между трубой и роликом был бы минимальным.
Don’t do this lmao. As a gate installer/programmer I can assure you that this is no longer structurally sound it won’t hold up for long term. Just make sure your guide wheel and track are aligned and you’re good. If someone hits the gate with a car, it’s better to have the wheel either bust off or the entire gate jump off the track than to have a weakened section bend and have to replace a entire section.

First of all. NO! Second, a 10mm round bar and a 40mm wheel are way to small for ANYTHING bigger than a 2M gate..... Those wheels will cause flattening of the round bar pretty much what you already can see and not only that, the small contact area will cause chattering. THE ONLY worthwhile material for bigger gates is a 16mm round bar and an 80mm x 16mm round groove wheel combo, I have been doing this for many many years and have learned a few things. Third, you have now opened up the rectangle tube to internal corrosion. Fourth, you have greatly improved the chances for a person with a crowbar to jimmy the gate off of its rail by lowering it..... Fifth, by mounting those wheels inside the frame you have caused the wheels and housing to catch and retain ANY dirt or small stones causing further wear... Please NO ONE do what this person has done... This is completely wrong.... If you are trying to re enforce the weld area you could just have gusseted the steel frame of the wheel housing...

Но при этом не забыть, что болт, проходящий через стенки насквозь, не может быть осью ролика, потому что при его затяжке стенки профиля сойдутся. Внутрь ролика ставится втулка, которая и зажимается стенками профиля при затягивании болта, она и есть ось. Вот и всë.
Usually you take a larger wheel and insert it directly into the tube. Simply cut an opening at the bottom, drill a horizontal hole and install the wheel using the axle with scew and nut.

А че так сложно то? Надо было ролик с осью снять со своего кронштейна, а в трубе сделать вырез и отверстие. Сварка вообще не нужна и зазор между трубой и роликом был бы минимальным.

方管切割鑲入滾輪雖然有焊接,接縫仍然會滲水,日久容易下垂,大大減少方管強度。😧
