Thank you! Rahul 😊
heyy bhaiya , how are you , my cycas plant new leaves are getting yellow its getting direct sunlight and i am watering after one inch gets dry .
Terrific! How are you??
You are 'under watering'. Cycas is in its growing period. Water as half inch of soil will become dry.
@@Sharanyu_ thank you
@@rudrakshsharma1066 You have to learn this; growing period, summer time, needs to shift watering. From one inch to half inch dry.
My curry leaves have turned into yellow and there is no growth from last 2 months. I am from Bangalore, can you please suggest if I can prone it now? Alo I have placed the plant in semi shade area and it's planted in big bucket
You are providing less direct sunlight. It goes into dormancy in winter. Watch its care video for further understanding, link in the description.
It happens in winters... Don't worry ..
My curry leaf plant is about 12 cm and I have been growing it for 7-8 months. When do I know the plant is mature enough to prune it from the top?
7-8 months are enough for plant to settle if it is getting right environment(Link of its plant care is in description).
We prune for two reasons, first for more branches and second, plant is in growing period we can have some fresh shoots, which can even promote growth. If plant is in growing period, you can prune for more branches.
I leave in UK .. its autumn now and the temperature is around 15*.
I have taken my curry plant indoors and I can see new shoots growing, I am very tempted to pinch the tips so that the plant goes bushy ...
Is it safe to prune now as UK is a cold country or shall I wait till spring ??
Please advice 🙏
Spring is the better season to prune. If the maximum temperature is above 28°C then you can prune. But, still it is better to prune during spring.
Thanks for your advice.
Also, my curry plants are almost 2 years old, but it's not growing even though I left it outside in summer. I have 2 plants, they are still alive, but its only now I have noticed that new shoots are appearing. Why haven't they grown in 2 yeras ??? What am I doing wrong 😢
@@sabirafi8393 What is the pot size ?? and Soil-mix ??
It’s September and I live in California. Can I trim my curry leaf plant it’s about a feet tall. It has seeds growing on top and doesn’t make new leaves. So can I Trim it?
I saw the temperature frame. It is better to prune, when temperature will be little higher.
@@Sharanyu_ ok thanks
My curry plant is 3 ft tall but its increasing only in 1 direction can i prune it in September from India
Yes, you can prune it. Second best season to prune Curry leaf is monsoon.
It's Dec, the leaves in my curry plant are all yellowing.. feel like pruning..
No, don't prune. It could be because of low temperature. How old ?? What is the min and max temperature in your region ??
@@Sharanyu_ I am in Kolkata - it's not very cold here.. I have two more curry plants where the leaves are ok.. this one has yellowing leaves
@@sadadosa01 You might be over watering or under watering. Your watering frequency??
@@Sharanyu_ Overwatering.. in the same pot there is a Gokarna Jasmine plant, which needs watering daily, else the leaves wilt.. this may be causing overwatering of curry plant
@@sadadosa01 Curry leaf prefers dry soil. Never plant two plants together, which are of different nature.
He is wrong. Hard Pruning should be done in February.
