I kind of lean on human because of the utility and massive defense layers since there's room for 3 defensive skills + petrify + vine + safe casting distance. Bear is interesting because maybe raw tankiness, some mobility and extra unstoppable with trample -- but slightly less room for defensive skills. Haven't tested the dps scaling between the three branch variants to see how they stack to one another Side note; but Airidah's ring is amazing for clear. Would need a variant with room for petrify though which may disqualify summoner variant. Petrify being a vacuum is crazy clear, and available 1-2 times per fight is pretty nuts. Lower DPS for boss though without the Earthbreaker ring, as I use Ring of Starless Skies because it's crazy good

I was playing a wolf companion build and it was op but I was squishy and weak and my wolves hit hard. This build is OP and I still need to get some better items to do better, but it is alot more fun to play with too so thank you!!
I'm trying this build with a werebear as ultimate. Using vasilys headgear, ii think it's working great. i had to replace the windshear with earth spike tho.
Ya that would be great, I considered doing it for the +3 ranks to earth / bear skills, but just wanted to go no-shift for this set up so chose to avoid it. Totally think it works though. Let me know how it goes!
I put out another variant of this that is all Earth skills + poison creeper which is a legit option, but if you want to adjust this one, I'd go Earth spike instead of wind shear (with the upgrade where it can cast twice) and then you have 2 good options aspect wise: 1. Take either edgemaster's or inner calm in place of natural balance aspect OR 2. switch to a 2h weapon, move retaliation there, and slide crashstone up to the amulet Both routes should work incredibly well :) Thanks for watching!
Decided to try a pure Earth Spike only build variant. It sounds like a bad idea at first but with all the basic skills damage sources in S4 and stunning power, speed and range, it is actually kind of OP. It has no projectile, so it instant hits, by the time your landslide would hit, i spiked like 8 times because you can quadruple cast it. It even has a tiny but important AOE, it's sheer firepower makes up for it's size and it snipes right through those annoying bubble elites because it's not a missile. Hard to tell which build hits hardest though. But the best part is how it can hit things offscreen without aggroing them often enough that you don't even need to be tanky... but you still do because of ambushes lol. With petrify and shared misery aspect though, you'll stop everything that does get to you in their tracks. Pushing tier 50 still can improve on it :D It's my only off meta build that's made it this far.
@@rawchuna Yup. I made a mistake though, i thought earth spike hit through bubbles but it doesn't seem exactly right, either it's the stun that does or its shared misery that cuts through, either way they're not an issue unlike all ranged character i've tried so far. Build is grinding to a halt at T55 but it's because it is very dependent on CC to actually do damage and stalls at bosses so long that doing t55 takes me about 10-12 minutes but I don't die. My gear is only 4/12 masterworked though so i should be able to get to the next resource tier once my equipment gets to 8/12 and only half of it has one greater affix, not even two. I suspect the final limit is going to be t80 ish. Took a break to try a landslide approach on another toon, having all the gear my main has had ,it took a few hours to get to Pit T20 already. I still cannot for the life of me tell which variant is ultimately better lol.
Ya there's definitely a lot of room for that. In this case I chose to go no shift just so there was an option like that out there for someone who wanted it, but you could make vasilys + IF work for sure

To rephrase what I said -- "definitely works" just meant that trampleslide combo is very good -- what i'm not sure of is if the trample landslides get the unique effect from Earthbreaker or not -- if you test it out, please let me know what you find!
I want this build but as usual it always comes down to missing one vital item or blah blah the hunt continues gotta try this one along with one I saw few seasons back that boulder spinning in hurricane seems fun :D
I stopped pushing them at 61 -- like I mentioned in the video, it's a skill issue on my end. I'm not great at dodging the pit boss one shots and I don't find it particularly fun to do (respect to people who can do it and enjoy it though).
Ya for sure, I thought about doing that but wanted to stick no-shift for this video. But the +3 to earth skills you'd get from doing that would be awesome.
Really interesting stuff. I played around with landslides alot during season 2, was able to do Abattoir of Zir t7 at that point with landslides. But at that time I was focusing more on testing it with Natures fury and then the aspect that gets spirit when you crowd control. From the landslide perma CCing and the additional CC from tornados and LS I kept spirit up quite easily and could spam landslides in groups. It was not as good on bosses but overall it was really fun. Hopefully will test something similar in S4, but havent seen anyone using Natures Fury so not sure it is working well. Also, to get the max of this I believe you could try to move from retaliation to shephards aspect with companions. It is a huge DPS increase.
I've been rocking a Landslide bear (no trample, just landslide spam) and having a lot of fun. I'm also focusing on overpower rocking Banished Lord's Talisman and when it procs, it does 15-20 mil dmg x4.
If you're pushing deep content, 100% gonna need max life all over the place. I left a note about it in the build planner (not sure if anyone really checks notes though so that may not be too effective, I know I forget to sometimes when looking at builds lol)
idk how but after watching your video i managed to get an amulett with natures reach and crushing earth. no GA but still good ALSO LOVE THE FREAKING BUILD
Hey, just have this idea that I can't seem to shake off. Been thinking of using Andriels Visage, now that it's been changed in the coming patch 1.4.3, Poison Nova now popping on the target, not on the user. Since the build is already kinda high on Lucky Hit, it's sure to proc constantly. Based on your experience with Druid, what Paragon Board and Glyphs is best to scale the poison damage from the Poison Nova? Hope you reply bro.
you can place them all over to get large aoe, just takes extra clicking which admittedly can be tedious but the resource control isn't an issue so you can just spam spam away. works well vs trash imo
Trampleslide is for sure really strong using the aspect that makes it summon landslides. Personally I was going for a non-shifter here just because it feels like most druid builds shift in one way or another, but trample is strong and a ton of fun as well!
How are you stagger bar progressing so fast? I have the same/better gear than you and I have a 53% chance to immobilize, and 15% chance to stun, is it stun that matters more? Should I temper for stun instead on geaR?
I got my earthbreaker ring! But this build is sooo spirit hungry! How sustainable is this build for a new WT4 druid to play? I imagine resource management is gonna be rough before getting lucky hit up to the required threshold
Interesting. Will try but feels weird not to have creeper and subterranean - but I guess this season we want to keep ranged for pit and not be a walking garbage disposal that sucks enemies in. Gonna miss the spectacular AoE
I ran it last season with creeper and subterranean also, I love that version too. Luckily this season gave us some new choices for how to put it together that still work really well, but I also think that set up could still work!
this makes me so happy!! just gonna insta sub as thanks. so anyways, a friend got me d4 recently. i had never really played a game similar to d4. gauntlet: dark legacy maybe? lmao. ANYWHO, my point is, im brand new. i gravitated towards druid, with an earth caster druid being my main i guess you could say. im still just 62, but its SO nice that the thing i was doing was like.. working, like it can work i was headed in the right direction. its been such an incredible adventure thus far, i just recently got t4 unlocked! anywho, with all that outta the way here's some stuff i noticed. Airidah's Inexorable Will turns petrify into a nuke with even more cc (since they get sucked to you) which makes casting at your feet extremely easy and/or following up with creepers. im not sure how worth it would be at endgame, but its been incredible for me personally. its the biggest reason i dont take nature's reach, but i also dont take predatory instinct either since i do far cast a lot as well, lol. for boons i bonded with wolf! packleader and energize. but i did grab wariness, avian wrath, and obsidian slam (since im pure earth i guess you could say.) i get cd back from the kills from airi's will + petrify's modifier which is actually similar, which is cool. im constantly asking myself if i should switch to the boons you have, but i enjoy the creeper reset with how often crits happen honestly which pairs well with subterranean aspect. i was curious about gift of the stag tho, so thats fantastic to know once i hit 100. its nice to see it in action. its nice to have some direction and not me just stumbling around trying to make it work as a new player (which to be fair, has been an absolute blast!) but still, thank you. now to understand what the fuck the paragon board is tho.. lmao.
This is sick, I love that you picked up the game and started building your own thing right away, and it sounds awesome! Keep it going :) I also did a variant of this for a video last season that uses creeper so I love that playstyle as well.
@@rawchuna yes i watched that one as well after reading one of your other comments! both have been extremely useful vids to reference. and paragon board wasnt too hard to grasp, which was great. my biggest take away from this was the skill tree tho, learning what is good, and more importantly, why, helped me finalize.
Im thinking of doing a lightning bolt druid build, just gota get alot of lucky hit, guaranteed vulnerable/immobilize. You can get so much increased lightning bolt damage, like 500 from a two-handed, another 500 from glyph and another 200 from another glyph, you can reach 1200%+ increased lightning bolt damage right now. Im really looking forward to trying to build it, best part is you cant make lightning bolt count as a werewolf skill - so you won't have to be a werewolf , that just means you can show off your bling as a druid (a huge positive). And I think cataclysm also casts lightning bolts everywhere, so you get to use a cool ultimate too!
I'm working on a variant of your arrow storm build that uses puncture and applies poison, freeze, and shadow damage without using imbuements. 😅 I'll definitely try this druid build after that!
Once you have the tectonic glyph for more lucky hit / earthen might this should resolve itself pretty quickly. Also worth finding some lucky hit to restore resource on gear :)
Just a comment on something you said: "those builds clearing Pit 100 are making use of bugs or exploits, and that's fine no hate to those builds at all". I'd have to disagree, anyone abusing bugs/exploits should deserve hate. I'm not sure where the cultural shift started, maybe as an older millenial I'm just slowly transitioning into a boomer, but back when I was a teenager/young adult: cheating, abusing exploits, abusing bugs, were all considered to be lumped into the same category. You didn't do it, because if you wanted to showcase TRUE skill, you didn't abuse bugs/exploits. Just to clarify for the mouthbreathers who will invariably read this go "nuh uh", I'm not saying cheaters or exploiters didn't exist, I'm just saying the cultural stigma against doing so was very much in the negatives, where now for some reason if the devs let a bug slip through the cracks people are like "lolol small indie company, guess i'll just abuse it until they fix it right? nOt mY fAuLt!"

Boom. I was definitely considering landslide bear to get the +3 to skills from the bear uniques, seems really strong.
Why %damage on gear? It’s additive and doesn’t do much for damage, i would say. It might be better to go for max life, no?
If you're pushing deep content, 100% gonna need max life all over the place. I left a note about it in the build planner (not sure if anyone really checks notes though so that may not be too effective, I know I forget to sometimes when looking at builds lol)
Wasn't sure if I would roll another druid this season. I guess I know what I'm doing after work now...
let's gooo
idk how but after watching your video i managed to get an amulett with natures reach and crushing earth. no GA but still good
ALSO LOVE THE FREAKING BUILD
holllyyyy amulet lol that's insane
Is the Landside a Damage Overtime skill?
Will it work with XFal?
Sadly no, that would be really cool though.
I tried Nature's Fury key passive, it procs the Tornado and Lightning Storm VERY well.
interesting, seems like that has a ton of potential
Hey, just have this idea that I can't seem to shake off. Been thinking of using Andriels Visage, now that it's been changed in the coming patch 1.4.3, Poison Nova now popping on the target, not on the user.
Since the build is already kinda high on Lucky Hit, it's sure to proc constantly.
Based on your experience with Druid, what Paragon Board and Glyphs is best to scale the poison damage from the Poison Nova?
Hope you reply bro.
hows this for uber lilith? im playing sorc, did nm 100 alright but lilith is giving me way too much grief
I haven't tried it tbh -- damage output is good though, so I'd imagine if you can dodge her mechanics long enough you'd be able to take her down :)
@@rawchuna sounds good. ill give it a shot. thanks!
Just so u know homie, the build guide has the raging landslide instead of primal landslide in the skill tree. Still in love, but just so you know
ohhh shit good comms mate! i tested that first and it just turned out to not be worth it, then i never changed it lol. thanks!
How does this version of landslide do on trash? It seems good for bosses, but the aoe is small.
you can place them all over to get large aoe, just takes extra clicking which admittedly can be tedious but the resource control isn't an issue so you can just spam spam away. works well vs trash imo
Anyway to put trample in that build? Would be awesome
I do think stun is the faster stagger (not 100% sure though)
I got my earthbreaker ring! But this build is sooo spirit hungry! How sustainable is this build for a new WT4 druid to play? I imagine resource management is gonna be rough before getting lucky hit up to the required threshold
In the short term I'd recommend taking conceited off your second ring and using aspect of the umbral. That should help a lot :)
Been looking for a build exactly like this thank you!
If your next build is a barb would be super cool if it had gushing wounds in it 😊
I'm a big fan of bleed barbs too :) I'll get one going at some point here. Working on a sorc next.
OK this looks fun. I'm going to give it a try
Bro i found your build and loving it love this off meta stuff and im destroying bosses keep them up bro
yessirrr love it :)
Love the off meta build crafting. Keep theorycrafting! :)
Always :) Thanks for watching!
I saw someone combine this with Natures Fury Passive, Unsung Wraps, and Lightning Dancer.
Evaporated a 200 boss.
Sheeeesh

Interesting. Will try but feels weird not to have creeper and subterranean - but I guess this season we want to keep ranged for pit and not be a walking garbage disposal that sucks enemies in. Gonna miss the spectacular AoE
I ran it last season with creeper and subterranean also, I love that version too. Luckily this season gave us some new choices for how to put it together that still work really well, but I also think that set up could still work!
Man this seems like it has a lot of potential, I'm gonna work on it some. Off the bat man I'm going to swap in Harlequin, what's your thoughts?
Definitely an upgrade if you have one
i like it just because it doesnt abuse shepherd companion build in it +
The only thing I wish with that new ring is that it activated on all landslide activations and not just on the casted landslide ability
Ya I heard it wasn't working for other types, definitely unfortunate. Hopefully it's a bug that they fix and not a feature.
Nice build and nice video, keep it going 🎉
Appreciate you my friend, thanks!
the power of EARTH!!
this makes me so happy!! just gonna insta sub as thanks. so anyways, a friend got me d4 recently. i had never really played a game similar to d4. gauntlet: dark legacy maybe?
I read the title without my glasses and thought it said "No Shit Druid Build Guide"
hahaha. it is also that.
Thank you
just subbed, thank you
Appreciate you!
Not the druid dancing to the music 🤣
We like to party here
I'll try it thnx
Looks fun
Human druid build? Sign me in.
This sounds super interesting! Let me know how it goes :)
I'm working on a variant of your arrow storm build that uses puncture and applies poison, freeze, and shadow damage without using imbuements. 😅
I'll definitely try this druid build after that!
That sounds wicked, let me know how it turns out!
fun build , but holy shit im out of spirit constantly :(
Once you have the tectonic glyph for more lucky hit / earthen might this should resolve itself pretty quickly. Also worth finding some lucky hit to restore resource on gear :)
LESS GOOOO
Yesss
lol this looks so fun
can confirm :)
Is it just me, or the clear looks really bad?
looks fucking boring
once the video of non-tormented grigoire loaded up i immediatley closed the vid and disliked. show some actual end game noob
Cool, thanks for watching!
@@rawchuna great build bro, I’ll give it a try later on the season.
my man!
Downed a Pit 100 boss in the vid...why do salty?
What a weirdo 😂
would it be worth to use any uber unique on this build
Shako would go crazy, also starless skies ring
