Lalo Is the MOST DANGEROUS Character In Better Call Saul

- One of the most shocking aspects of Better Call Saul is Lalo. Out of every member in his family, Lalo proved to be the most resourceful and dangerous. I want to take a moment to reflect on what would have had happened if he survived into Breaking Bad. Walter White wouldn't have stood a chance.

You make a really good point that I hadnt thought of. Lalo WAS acting alone vs Fring who had men helping him. I mean he had Mike, Victor, Tyrus, all the guys at the house + the six guards at the laundry. Fring had ALL those men protecting him, and yet when Mike heard the recording of Lalo talking to Hector about his plan, Mike still said that this was an "uncontrollable situation". Thats how powerful Lalo is. Even with a dozen guards, a safe house, and a bulletproof vest, Gus STILL feared for his life because of Lalo. Even in the end, Gus's plan with turning out the lights and grabbing the gun could have gone the other way. Lalo could have hit Fring when he was shooting in the dark. Fring could have run out of bullets without having hit Lalo. He got lucky. I really like that Lalo died this way because he wasnt outsmarted, he wasnt cornered, his luck just ran out.
I agree with you completely. Even with all of his resources, Gus still had to rely on luck. To beat Gus, Walter had to have help from multiple people. Lalo’s on a different level. Thank you for watching. I appreciate you.
Lalo aslo has to hit a headshot in the dark because of the vest
That’s one of my favorite things about him. He had wealth and power but handles shit all himself. Would’ve been great if he lived into BB but in fairness his character wasnt created yet. He was just a name in BB. They developed him for better call Saul
Unlike Gus, Lalo wouldn't tolerate Walt's presence anywhere near him.
Lalo would see Walt's fragile ego as a weakness from miles and exploit it and use it to his advantage.
Thank you. You're completely right. At best, Lalo would have seen Walter as a puppet to use. At worst, Lalo might have just murdered Walter. Either way, Heisenberg would have just been an annoyance to Lalo. Especially at the start of Breaking Bad.

Yeah, but watching a season 5 Walt face off against Lalo would be interesting.
I still think that Lalo would win that one too.
Gus also exploited walts ego to get him to cook for him
@@fionnleamy844 lack of proper analyzation that's what they all have in common people that say lalo wouldve beaten walter. It's possible but not probable.
@@Godloveszazabro it’s definitely probable
These writers had the balls to put this man in the 4th season. That's how confident they were that this man would steal the show.
Peter Gould actually wanted to have Lalo as an enigmatic boogeyman-esque villain since season 1 but they didn't really have an idea how to introduce him and quite possibly they didn't find an actor who fitted the role.
I was pissed when Lalo died that way, even though it was awesome. I meant the way pollero got him with a lucky bullet. After thinking about it for a while, I realized I’m glad it was just luck that got him because there’s no chance in hell Gus would ever outsmart him.
Also, Walter would have been dead in like an hour if he went against Lalo lol.
Lalo's death made sense. He was a machine, but not invincible. They foreshadowed it with Casper getting the drop on him two episodes earlier. He is a risk-taker. That is usually awesome, but it meant he did sometimes lose control of the situation.
I just finished BCS and Lalo is the closest I've seen to power scaling in a live action TV drama 😂
That's a good way of putting it. Even Gus needed raw luck to beat him. Thank you for watching.
Walt could easily have been killed at any point in BB but he lucked out a lot. So yeah, of course Lalo could have defeated Walt, especially in the early seasons. Don't get me wrong, Walt had skills. But he was always in over his head which is what made the show interesting.
Despite knowing Lalo's destiny because of the BB plot, I really wanted him to defeat the Gus.
Never liked Gus, Lalo was so right about calling him a coward sitting in his office and giving orders.
Lalo was true menace and a man on his own, while Pollero was nothing but a businessman craving for the revenge.
Greatly played character by Tony Dalton. Kudos! Bien hecho!
Walter would have died or would have been in jail long before Season 5 if it wasn't by characters like Saul or Gus. Lalo would have made him his bitch lol
Damn. This scenario is downright brutal
Lalo my favorite character fr he woulda won in breaking bad he had Gus beat just took too much time to kill him
Lalo won because of a victory lap and some bad luck. Even then, Gus still got shot. It’s scary to think about. Thank you for watching. I appreciate you.
Lalo didn't resurface as alive because he didn't know who to trust after he nearly got assassinated in his own crib
Also would love to see a vid on my fav character mike his story is really interesting imo, but keep doing you!
I plan to a video on Mike too. He’s one of my favorite characters.
Can you imagine how lalo and walter wouldve interacted. Walt and gus played so well off each other bc they were both extreemly intellectual type minds whereas lalo is just pure cunning and experience and personality that would always have walt off his game wondering what the hell was the angle being played
Well to be fair lalo only has the power to take down gus’s operation due to his cartel connections. So in my mind I still think Walter did it better than lalo not only did Walter need to form a connection to the cartel but Walter actually succeeded with the plan using his brain which is one thing lalo didn’t do at the very end
I think as good as Lalo is being on the attack against someone is always easier than being on the defence.
Mike for example terrorized the salamancas , Lalo terrorized fring and then some because they could hide and keep popping up in unexpected places
I would love to see a Lalo movie
Hey you’re really great man I’m happy to be here early in your career❤️ keep it up my man
Never give up your dreams brother, you will succeed if you keep trying at this youtube and media game
Beat Walter? Who wouldn’t?
Lalo should’ve killed Gus but he was reveling in the moment, recording him and letting him pace around and share his truth about his feelings towards the salemancas. Just like the twins with Hank, his hubris got him killed.
Walt is smart. And like Jesse said, you think somethings going to go one way with him but it goes the exact opposite, in his favor. You don’t think Walt could just as easily exploit Lalo’s pride? Macguyver some shit together Lalo would never imagine? Cmon now, im no Walt fanboy or anything…but I dunno about Lalo beating Walt. Walt excelled when he was cornered. Lalo can certainly corner well, then let his pride get the best of him.
If you changed the reasons why lalo kills characters to make him more likeable then that’s changing the character
Not going to lie. This video was a while ago. So, I don't remember exactly what I said. I'm assuming that it had something to do with the idea that Lalo could be the main character in his own show. I think that I was going for something like how Breaking Bad handled Walter's murders. "He had no other choice!" Or something like that. Make it seem more reasonable than what it is, because Walter is the main character and we like him at first. In hindsight, we know that Walter was secretly a monster from the start. I think that type of Jedi mindtrick could be used for Lalo too. Thank you for watching. I appreciate you.
This video makes me miss fan fiction days lol if it was 2012 I would be burning a hole in my keyboard on wattpad right now lol
I hear you. I used to love reading and writing little what if scenarios. Lucky, I can get that urge out through my videos. Thank you for watching. I appreciate you.
Blood for blood a breaking bad story
walt would beat lalo. walt has higher luck stats.
LOL. That's fair. You can't account for Walter's luck.
Better Call Sus
The good ending
……..And breaking bad
👍
Wrong. Walter is willing to a greater extent than Lalo to act in ways that are significantly detrimental to his loved ones. That is an advantage. Seriously, Walter always wins because in his mind he always comes first.
Walter is not going to blatantly act in a way that he can predict gets his family killed though right?
