Nitori is one of my favourite Girls from Gensokyo. Her shyness, skill with technology, and her love of humans makes her the most approachable and least likely to attack you.
Of course, mortality is the problem of our lifespan.

well you have to remember that Nitori IS a kappa, and kappas are known for playing pranks and accidentally (or purposefully) killing people. However Aya has been known to stretch the truth and flat out lie...so its up to the player to determine who's right here ;)

Dam man. Such a beautiful and tragic story to go along with this song. It really hits me with the feelings at the end as Nitroi being a Yokai barely ages at all as she watches the one she loves inevitably grow older and older until he dies in front of her. Like dam... This video deserves to be seen by more people.

It's great to see more people enjoying this song. Until recently(the song's album was released over 2 years ago) almost everyone I talked to about Touhou music never knew about this song despite it being done by Cool&Create. It's been such an underrated song even though I consider it one of Beatmario's best.

Mind you Suika owns a plot of land in Gensokyo's Heaven thanks to extorting Tenshi...
Though Suika herself isn't immortal, being just a Oni/Youkai... Mind you she's arguably the strongest one in Gensokyo's current demographic of existing characters & the only one so far who has ever beaten Reimu at Danmaku...
She might turn her land in Heaven over to one of the immortal characters that would need it when her time eventually comes...
Imagine you are a long living being. and everyone isnt. Your a nice lovely person that likes to help and one day you find the perfect one. at first you both hangs out and talks. then it evolves into something more. as the love blooms and time passes. the person your with gets older and older and eventually... the persons time has come. leaving you in sadness because of your loss.

@PotatoTomatoBeef It's not an anime. It's a series from a game called Touhou, which was developed by Team Shanghai Alice and lead by Junya Outa, or ZUN as people and his corporation call him. And this character, specifically the youkai kappa (which loosely translates to a water spirit), is from the 10th game of the series which is called Mountain of Faith, Nitori Kawashiro.

Good point... Though Tenshi was confined to heaven as punishment for her crimes and sadistic nature... She... Actually desperately wants to go to hell because she see's it as paradise... @_@,
Mind you that was after she was allowed to become a celestial but nevertheless yeah... She ain't quite right...
Normal celestial's are supposed to be quite conceded & "higher than thou" in there thinking & demeter according to Yukari though, so I wouldn't imagine them being good company.

The Hourai Elixir permanently binds the soul to the body making it's victim stick in whatever plain of existence & in what ever shape/form it was in until the end of time...
So obviously unless you are completely content with yourself & can find a way into an eternal plain of existence like heaven, it would be insane to use the Elixir...

No no, Kaguya & Mokou are both immortal & biter enemy's... Even though they both can understand & often sympathize with each others situation in fanfare...
Mokou & Keine are often portrayed as lovers in fanfare, and that was the example I was using to say to YuraJoey why giving the boy a Hourai Elixir would only put the situation in reverse...

Well not anime. Quite. This is from Touhou games. Touhou has anime too, called "Memories of Phantasm" but it isn't like the games at all.

Touhou Project, that's a game. The blue-haired girl, Kawashiro Nitori, first made her debut in the 10th installation, Touhou Fuujinroku ~ Mountain of Faith as the midboss and boss of the 3rd stage. She later appeared as a playable character in the 13.5th game, Touhou Shinkirou.
This song is an arranged version of her boss theme, "Akutagawa Ryunnosuke no Kappa ~ Candid Friend"
