    I recently switched from mortgage lending and sales to Fin-Tech. The demand for tech roles is crazy! I never even considered the field until I found your channel. Thank you 🙏🏿

    I agree, you get bored after a while doing the same thing. After many years you can easily get burned out with so much work and deadlines. You work at a company and more work thrown your way and they don't hire more people, so you really feel the impact. That's the way it's become. If you enjoy it then great, but maybe look for another job not in IT, some job that you feel you are actually doing something that makes you feel good inside. It's not always about the money, and many people do not want to me managers or directors. $$ does not make happiness and the stress is a killer.

    I have 4 interviews this week for data engineering all paying 145k or more a year. It's wild

    I am definitely setting myself up for success. If they don't want to do it I am willing to do it. Better to do that than make less than $60k a year and have worked for the military for over 4 years.

    This video was recommended to me by RUclips even though I've watched it before. I wonder more than a year later, after all these massive tech layoffs, where are they now? Probably got fired and now looking for a new job? I'd really like to know where they're now. In 2020 and 2021 tech was booming with massive pay and with stocks and great benefits but 2022 and 23 is totally different. Layoffs is being announced almost daily damn 😢

    I will graduate with my MIS degree in 2024. The same time I will be making my exit from the military.

    I really want a job so badly 🥵 but I don't have any skills as I just came out of school and now in college. Any tips?

    • @NCGNTO202
      @NCGNTO202 2 года назад

      There are tons of books ( I do suggest reading) and videos that can teach you the skills you need. One big start is sitting down in front of a computer and learning all of it's capabilities. Start at desktop level, then go to server level. You can also get very low cost courses that will get you up to speed. If you are in college, consider taking advantage of the school's resources.

      @@NCGNTO202 colleges typically offer discounted prices for programming certifications ...sometimes as much as 50%. take advantage of those deals while you're enrolled in college.
