It is surprising how the mind can splinter when multiple stressors impact you at once. His daughter was in good hands, the mind registers that fact and goes to the next problem. I have been there and know that what seems unimportant later, it seems of primary importance now. Don’t judge unless you have walked in their shoes.
In every town I have lived in the cops usually show up first before the ambulance or paramedics arrive at every 911 call. They would have handled the situation.
She would have gotten her car destroyed if she would have done that in my driveway. It would not have been driveable if she didn't leave when I said so.
Police investigation? What happened with blocking a Emergency vehicle. The mediation didn't work and they should be made aware of her continued actions and now your case get's escalated to criminal charges.
The father has time to call the police and post a note to the HOA before going to the hospital to see his daughter? Who would do that in an emergency? Sounds like a fake story
No he did those the next day. the main error the author committed was not creating any follow up to that call. This story is clearly commissioned by some HOAs to portray them in a good light. When I was eight I was rushed to Hospital in the middle of the night slowly going blue from an obstructed larynx. I spent the first week of November in a steam and oxygen tent and it took me forty years to realise why I was given my Christmas presents that week. I know what my parents went through, my father was a peaceful man but he would have decked that Karen and taken her keys to get her car moved. This is pro HOA propaganda written to order.
Okay, calling total BS on this one as I’m a REAL Paramedic (retired, but 36 years experience nonetheless.) We NEVER park in a persons driveway, first parking at curbside is ALWAYS easier than pulling into a driveway. Second, backing an ambulance out of a driveway is tremendously risky as they have HUGE blind spots thus requiring a ‘Spotter’ (the other Paramedic, leaving nobody to care for the patient while backing out…which is immoral, unethical, and ILLEGAL), as well as slower than just pulling away from the curb. Fortunately, I quit watching this story early.
Rather idiotic story. Who parks in someone else’s driveway? I would get any vehicle blocking my driveway towed even if there is no emergency because there might be an emergency later.
Assholes exist everywhere. We've managed to block the drive we share with the neighbors on occasion dealing with trailers/boats, but we don't leave them there if there's any other option, including our lawn, though I'm sure they're more lenient due to us sharing our fresh fish with them, and moving things when they ask.
Blocking an emergency vehicle is a crime. The paramedics would have called the police.
Obstructing an emergency vehicle is a crime.
I'm surprised that the paramedics didn't radio the police.
If a car is illegal on my land , it will be junk
and who the hell parks in somebody else's driveway ?
Ok, they are helping your daughter, have the vehicle towed. File a police report. Put that witch in jail.

these stories are so frustrating, stop arguing with these idiots and just call the tow truck!
Karen move your f car. Or I will move it for you.
Nine hundred and eleven 😂
Me ??I’ll give that Cara make over ,yes a make over .
Her first problem was she was trespassing on your property and you should have had her arrested for that in itself
Finally you calked the police 😮
What parent takes the time to send emails while their child is on the way to the hospital
Call the police call the police 😮
He's too concerned with Karen, all that could have been done later
IMO the letter Megan delivered OP, that Karen sent to the HOA and some neighbors, invalidates the mediation agreement.

When EMS is dispatched in my area the State Police or county sheriff responds with EMS
its 9 1 1, fix your text to speech
Why isn't that Dad with his daughter

Meanwhile hid daughter is suffering 😮
Um, he had taken the time to call the police and the HOA to place reports before going to the following the ambulance with his daughter on board?!
🎉he called the police. What happened with that.
After all it was only human life nouthing important 😮

Most of these stories are fake .

His daughter was already on the way to the hospital. It only took a few minutes to notify the police and HOA.

👎 where is the police intervention -
Karen parking in OP's driveway is HOA matter,
blocking emergency vehicle is a crime and a "POLICE" matter...
Could have gone after Karen for breaking the mediation agreement.
What a badly written load of old tosh. AI, me thinks, and not a good one.

What happened to the police report?
Garbage story.
