@@DeanDayton-gk6le This is just a story. I doubt that it is real. Nonetheless, he gave Cooper entirely too many warnings. He broke into the house and had a crowbar in his hand. Well past warnings. He was allowed to take him down at that moment.
HOA's one reason not to buy anywhere near one. Of course, soon the corrupt legal system will be removed and their strangle hold will be removed under common law.
Louisiana, too. Very clear rules about 'castle doctrine', something America inherited from French law (did you know in Louisiana, all homeowners are required to own a sword for home defense? Never enforced, but still a fun law.)
Why not get all of the homeowners together minus the board, and vote them all out I'm sure that those regulations have provisions for such a measure but with Cooper and his minions so firmly in charge it's best to have a lawyer, and a few plain clothes cops present at the vote to ensure they don't try to interfere.
ain't wrong, what else to expect from a HOA, don't have property rights in those things.....and while I can't find this case anywhere on the news, and don't think there ever has been a HOA that nuts...though do know of two cases with HOAs leading to shots being fired.
It’s good they lived in a reasonable state where there was stand your ground laws there are states where you are forced to flee if somone trespasses in that way
I feel like if the media found out that a man with a crowbar was second amendment in a house that was broken into, and a bloody crowbar was clutched in the perpetrators hands, they'd still try to depict the home owner as the villain somehow lol.
The crowbar would have been taken by the police for evidentiary purposes along with Donalds gun and any shell cases the damage caused by the crowbar would have been photographed and documented, and the video evidence gathered, the police would have been there for quite some time and of course the media would have been on it like a hound on a biscuit, ( if it bleeds it leads) and some of them would stop at nothing to make Donald the bad guy, Cooper by dint of his actions should have lost his position, the night he was prowling around, but having survived that sound will probably file a civil suit against Donald, that's going to be another headache but sometimes it's better to be tried by 12 then carried by 6, and considering that this unhinged maniac had broken into a house that he knew was only occupied ( at the time of the offense) by a woman and her kids in his zeal " to enforce the rules" ( or his version of them) and use a crowbar to wreak havoc, ( one shudders to think what might have happened if he had found them) Donald did the only thing he could under the circumstances. In my state we have two categories for burglary, simple which is when someone breaks into an unoccupied house or business, and its still a felony. And then there's Home Invasion and that occurs when the intruders enter the occupied premises in a "Riotous Manner" which would include breaking Windows with a crowbar in order to frighten or intimidate and that elevates the offense to a class X felony with a minimum sentence of 6 to 35 years maximum ( that means that an offended accused of the offense has to serve 6 years, in total before they can be considered for parole when the sentence given is more than the minimum and in my opinion ( as a retired Public Safety Professional) in my state Coopers actions would have garnered him a sentence of 8 to 10 years serving a full 6 under the class X statute before he could be released on parole.
Finally one of these stories where the 2nd amendment comes in play.
That should be more frequent, especially in the HOA v farmer story.

The 2nd amendment solution
You have the right to protect your family and property
If people cant read the signs ... thats not your fault
HOA's one reason not to buy anywhere near one. Of course, soon the corrupt legal system will be removed and their strangle hold will be removed under common law.
Don't talk to the police without a lawyer.
If in Florida stand your ground law applies
All 50 states have a version of the Castle Doctrine, which protects people in their homes from intruders.
Louisiana, too. Very clear rules about 'castle doctrine', something America inherited from French law (did you know in Louisiana, all homeowners are required to own a sword for home defense? Never enforced, but still a fun law.)
Can the sword be used to hurt someone breaking in
Please do a part 2of this story thank you
I am surprised.Usually utube deletes any mention of the 2nd in comments.

Call the PD FIRST. Never say or else

What I don’t understand is why there seems to no way to leave the HOA there should be some kind of sunset rule that lets you get out of The contract
It’s good they lived in a reasonable state where there was stand your ground laws there are states where you are forced to flee if somone trespasses in that way
That fellow should be arrested for buying a home in an hoa community.

Cooper did have a solid point, telling him he should have thought about it before moving into a hoa!
Not at all, they just moved in without being given a grace period.
2nd amendment and yes, suf that's jerk right.
Way to tell this is an AI bullcrap story, What happened to Cooper?
I would be talking to a lawyer.
Harold and Donald? Is this the HOA Blacklist?
SURELY THE HOA would have been sued for gazillions!
Wow! You make a post saying what's wrong with this story, and YT just deletes it out of hand.
