that age is 19-21 days old and it needs 6mL to 8mL. But sometimes they eat less like 4mL to 5mL and it's okay. Feed them 3 times a day.. morning, noon and night
if your bird is 1 day old to 17 days old i suggest you use spoon and the food should contain more water than the formula. For 18 days old and above, syringe is better to use since the food will be thicker
Peach faced is slightly bigger than a Fischer's. So it may need a little more food. You can feed your baby 4-6 mL every meal, 3 times a day, 6am, 12pm, and 5pm
After another week you might need to increase to 6-8 mL you just have to observe if they need more. Usually in their 4th week they tend to eat less maybe 4-5mL that is because their feathers are growing faster and they need to reduce their weight for them to practice jumping and flying
@@birdhavenaviary1074 thank you so much, I fed it close to 2ml but because I was waiting for his crop to empty after having formula for a while. I didn’t want it to get sour crop. I got a thermometer to make sure the formula is at the right temperature. I feel like mine is growing slow.
Thanks for your video, i got an african bird approx 20 days old, orange peach it seems. today i started hand feeding with petslife formula. only two times i have given so far but it had only 1.5ml to 2ml. seems his crop is 70% filled. do i still need to feed 6ml? or may be tomorrow he himself starts eating more since today is first day of handing feeding
hello, 1.5-2ml is okay during the first two days of handfeeding since they are adjusting to the food they eat less. In 3rd day, once they like the food, then they will eat more you can feed them up to 6-7ml or until the crop is full.
@@birdhavenaviary1074 thank u so much... Actually this advice means a lot. I was worried whether I am feeding chick properly. Hope my little pudding shows good progress.thanks once again 🙏
@@birdhavenaviary1074 one more doubt... Can u pls tell me whether I need to give any tonics like vimeral or zincovit? If yes, pls suggest how much I need to give. Note: Now it is 24 days chick. Non ring variety
Hello there! the best age to pull them out is around 18-21 days. Because at that age, they can already stand and walk a little. They will need 3 meals a day, at 5-6am, 12-1pm, 5-6pm

Hi I have a question. How much did you feed the birds at 6:07? How much ml do I have to feed it?
that age is 19-21 days old and it needs 6mL to 8mL. But sometimes they eat less like 4mL to 5mL and it's okay. Feed them 3 times a day.. morning, noon and night
Please name the food that you feed him, Thanks
Kaytee Exact baby bird formula
after handrfeed po ba pwede ng i balik sa parents nila yan s nest box?
Normally sir if start na po syang ihand feed, we separate it from the parents na po talaga.
madali lang ba ang mag alaga ng lovebirds
opo, low maintenance lang.
@@birdhavenaviary1074 parang kasing mahirap lalo yong maliit
kung maliit pa po, dapat hindi malapot yung ipapakain.. dapat malabnaw lang para madali matunawan.
Woe
