My first car was a pale blue 1.4 petrol Lupo... I will never forget those years....

Great little cars, have the same year and colour as the one in the video, had it 7 years and got it off a guy who owned it for 9 years 😂 they are the sort of car you keep if you can find a good one

Up gti haven't the same DNA of Lupo gti, i'm sorry
The UP is the new lupo replacement but tbh the lupo has more character to it
No surprise since Up! is the direct replacement of the Lupo.
My dad got a Lupo GTI earlier this year and upgraded the hell out of it. Pushed it up to 300HP, with the top speed nudging the high end of 100MPH. Despite our best efforts, it's doomed to be crushed soon. I'll miss it.
I had standard 120bhp ish and it did 127 mph

Our diesel VW Jetta broke down with major problems often. It left my family stranded on our family trip. Their service and quality S U C K S! We are going Japanese. I'm so Sad there is no more Quality in German like the 80's German cars. I really believed in them and wanted to support them.
Globilization. It won't change if you chose either Asian, American, or European brands. It's all the same technique and planned obsoloscence. Only the design, technical gimmicks, and the supply of the aftersales market differ.
The last worthy cars were the 90s VWs (Golf 3, Passat). Ask any German car technician or mechanic, they will affirm that.
To the Lupo: I can acknowledge the bad handling. I've never driven a car like that before that feels so uncomfy to drive (bumpy, "floating", and indirect).

You know that some are put together in Southern europe states like italy and those are Bad quality, so look where its produced to get a good quality one build in germany
ah the bumfluffed Hammond still using the same schtick I see. The "lame" green Lupo of before is transformed by power and a body kit into a contender. He was auditioning for Top Gear even when he didn't know it ! Like the basic Lupo price killed this one - however for Rich the GTI badge alone took the green also ran into a contender - PPPOOOOOWWWWWEEEEERRR !!!
I wanna sell my lupo because its useless not fast but loud cause I wanna buy a Audi a8 w12 rear entertainment 500 hp instead of 50 hp and 500 feet of turque instead of 36 feet of turque but I need to add 8. Grand on the lupo price wish me good luck :)
