Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth - Tyrell Badd ~ The Truth Isn't Sweet (GSV Remix)

This is the last Ace Attorney remix I'll be doing for now, unless I get a request. I've done a bunch of them in sequence, so I'll move on to different games to break it up a little.
I overlooked this song when I played the game, but after re-listening to the soundtrack I gotta say, this is downright fantastic. What an awesome song, damn. (The part starting right after the solo always gets me.)

Notes: Oof, now this was a hard remix to do. It didn't take as long as some others, but that's because I had a lot of free time to work on it. I think I did a decent job with all the instruments, except the guitars. It's practically impossible to get a realistic sounding guitar with computer-generated sounds (especially the solo) but I did my best.
Fun fact: This is the current record holder for the largest amount of tracks in my remixes. I used 68 tracks, with more than half of them for the guitars.

I feel like this remix conveys more of how I perceive badd. The synth and heavy beats kinda show his cool and stoic demeanor while the original used marimba as the lighter beats, which I feel is a throwback to the softer and more understanding parts of his personality. However, the marimba somewhat feels childish to me and while I somewhat get it I don’t see Badd that way at all. The marimba here is replaced by something that seems like a bell-type thing which I feel fits more. This might not make any sense, lol. Just my over complicated way of saying, holy crap, this is great. ❤

Thanks! I agree with your idea of how the music was designed to fit his character (though I'd never be able to explain it like you did lol) especially since he's one of my favourites. The instrument I used in place of the marimba is called a vibraphone, it's rather similar but made of metal instead of wood (which gives it a brighter, sharper sound) and is paired with a motor underneath which gives it a constant vibrato/tremolo effect.

@@GSVRemix Hahah, I like to analyze characters, so it might not be tied to his personality at all that much, however, I tend to always look deeper into things. Very interesting instrument! I did note that it sounded similar to the marimba but sharper and clearer (overall better in my opinion) Thanks for the explanation and response!

Again, here it feels like the synth carrying the main melody is underpowered and is quieter than it should be. Otherwise, this is a very good remix.
