trixie on the drew barrymore show... i have followed her journey since she was on season 7, i watched the very first episode of UNHhh when it aired, the vice show :(, the youtube channel, the makeup company, THE ALBUMS, the netflix show, and now to see her come full circle as a judge on a drag show is beyond words. i’m so proud to be a longtime fan and i can’t wait to see how high she goes next. what a time to be alive and skinny

I loved seeing Trixie hustling during this interview. You could tell she was making sure insert herself and plug what needed to be plugged without it being awkward or pushy

I am happy any time Vanessa Williams gets her flowers. She is the first African American crowned as Miss America. Those with power and greed couldn't just let her have the win. Her reigning year was met with scandal, which these days would be considered somewhat tame. But in true underdog style she came back with hit after hit in music, tv, film with continued success. Kudos to this beautiful queen! 💙🖤✨
I remember all the hatred that came her way when she won the pageant, all because she dared be better than all the other contestants. It hurt my heart to see her torn down, but look at what she built after that! Just amazing.

Trixie's a hard worker. Other queens have said it too, she really did take the platform she was given and made a lot more opportunities open up for her. I think more than anything it's her work ethic that's admirable.

The Lay’s potato chips trick is also used by Amy Grant, in her House of Love home movie documentary back in 1994, she talked about eating Lay’s potato chips and the same reason Vanessa explained about the grease from the chip brings out the high end of your voice. Also, Amy stated that it was Keith Thomas (producer) who suggested it. Keith also worked with Vanessa around the same time in the early 90’s.
Love, love, LOVE Vanessa Williams - it was heart breaking to see what she went through with the Miss America scandal (yes, I'm that old): they took her crown away but she went on to be fabulously successful - gotta love that determination!
Honestly. That scandal was before my time, but she's the only Miss America contestant I've actually heard of, she's had (and continues to have) and amazing career. She was the real winner in the end!

Yes, we all wanted more, but like it or not, these shows have time limits on each segment and when there's three people in one segment, it's not a lot of time for them. The producer was probably saying to wrap it up and Drew had to do the cookie thing.
