I pre-ordered this phone the day it was released, it's May 2022 now and I still have it and will keep until it breaks. Great battery, great sound on also SONY Bluetooth headphones, good design and very good camera! It actually took better photos vs Panasonic Lumix point & shoot camera!

I had my Xperia for a few monthd and now it just won't charge,when I connect the phone it stops charging after a few minutes ,,😭

Its a really beautiful machine. i love how sony make their phones look like fine jewelry, even a phone that is just a midrange device.
I can't wait for the release of this phone. I'm so buying it! I do am curious about the speakers, when you watch a video, do you tend to cover it? If you do, does it still produce a large sound?

Not reaching the far side of the screen with your thomb is not bezels fault, because if instead of bezel, you had screen, you houlnd be able to touch the far side of the screen anyway.. Reviewers love to blame the bezels for anything.. Nice video, i like it a lot that you are giving Sony the proper atention.

hiya, I have the xa2 and been getting calls from private numbers that I will never answer. Is there a way to block all withheld/private numbers? I have checked where I can and see nothing on this apart from the possibility of an app that might do it. but ive not looked in to this. any help would be great thanks!!
You should really get started on the 1080p 60 fps thing since all new phones got cameras with that FPS and we cant really see it through your video :D ether way was a great vid thanks for the tips and tricks!
1 year later, I still like my Xperia XA2.
A few problems I've had with it: sometimes it might be a little slow in the camera app or rarely somewhere in the menu, but that's probably a storage issue (because it's near full). Another problem are some dying pixels on the left side of the phone, but they are visible only on a white background. And last - the most annoying issue is that the USB Type-C port has become loose so charging is a bit of a hassle - I place the phone on top of the power cord so that it stays firmly inside the phone, otherwise it doesn't charge the phone. Unfortunately, I can't find its warranty so I'm stuck with these problems which are likely covered by it, but I'll be sending for a repair if they become more serious and I've still not found the receipt for the purchase of the phone.
I had the exact same issue with pixel issues on the left side of my phone on a white background. I brought my phone back to my carrier and it was repaired by Sony. It's a known problem.

Yeah, that could be it. However, I no longer use my Xperia XA2. I finally put it to rest about 2 months ago, even though it didn't break or anything, but I needed to upgrade as it got a bit sluggish due to being full most of the time.

Andro Livakovic rear cam got better than xa1, but front seems a step back because f2.4 instead of f2.0 like xa1
Front cam is step back because it lacks autofocus too (XA1 has front cam with autofocus)

camera on this phone absolute sucks complete donkey balls. I have multiple old phones that put it to shame. this camera REALLY SUCKS. it can't be put lightly. DO NOT BUY THIS thinking you'll get good photos, you will not. Especially bad unless its like as bright as surface of the sun.
it is a great phone other wise but seriously the camera absolutely is the worst.

The screen is very blue'ish if you dont enable standard or super vivid mode. Other than that, I absolutely love this phone.
Do a video on its performance. Like gaming, battery test, etc

Hi, I am looking to get my first Android phone, been with Apple for years but need a change. I had decided on a Pixel 2, P20 or the P20 Lite but now seen this. Can you hide all the apps on the screen and have them in the app drawer like the Pixel 2 ?
Yes. You can. You can get Nova Launcher on all android phones which has an app drawer.

A feature I like to use to remind me to reply to someone later or info I need to keep highlighted such as reminders from my daughters school if anyone can help please? Thanks
If you gently swipe left from your notification you can tap the clock icon to snooze the notification

Great Job. This phones are heavy despite this, they seem not to have the double click on the screen to wake it up. What do you suggest as tips for this issue?
Why can't I send or receive pictures from the gallery OT screen shots.. I also don't get pics from friends either.. I've played around with the settings and nothing... HOW do you turn up volume when someone calls you on XA2? Outside you usually need to put it on speaker phone to hear them but even that is not that loud. Media volume obviously doesn't increase the volume of someone calling you (or you call them and connect). Can it be increased? Thanks!

Acid Essence i bought the honor 9 cuz of a sale that was going on. I would go for the Sony but the honor 9 Is good too definitely faster but the Sony has a better camera.

Clari Canari I tested, only to find that it worked for game and vid, as you said. In an app, it didn't auto hide.
