Cross Before Yoke

Before Jesus calls us to carry HIS YOKE (Matthew 11:28-30) he calls every kingdom disciple to carry THE CROSS (Matthew 10:37-39).
Why?
Because there will be NO REST on the inside of a HOUSE DIVIDED against itself!
When we try and serve two masters (self and Christ) there will be no deep and abiding peace inside of us!
Before he calls us to the YOKE he calls us to the CROSS where we deny ourselves, place all of the people and things we love MORE than Jesus before his SUPREMACY and LORDSHIP...
A life yielded, with our old "self" nailed to the cross, we are ready to carry His YOKE and truly experience the deep and abiding rest that comes from being MASTERED by KING JESUS!
