How in the hell have I never heard this STP song?!? I’ve been listening since I was a kid, I’m 43 and this one slipped by? Well, it’s pretty cool finding this bad ass song now. I love and miss STP and Scott Weiland. RIP brother.
This genuinely feels like it could be one of their huge singles from the 90s alongside Big Empty or Sour Girl. Can't believe it didn't make it to No. 4
Imagine is STP management had the balls to release singles like this. I always felt they played it way too safe with their singles. Tracks like this should be glorified.
Definitely, labels suck ass when controlling bands they never know what to do that's in the best interest of the band and the people. If anything these unreleased singles add range to their versatility as a band, and add more songs in their discography.
Yes--This is a fantastic and warmly soulful song! The fact that we didn't hear this around when it was first recorded is a crime against music. This isn't far behind Interstate Love Song. If you were making up a mixlist you might even program them close together. I definitely rank this one high on my list of their songs and music in general for that matter.
Stp has been my all time favorite and I just discovered this! Unless I forgot, got to love tbi’s. I’ve got a bootleg with stp doing Charlie Browns Christmas song lol just crazy I missed this gem 💎

CHECK OUT: "About A Fool", "Samba Nova", "Learning to Drive", "Heed the Water Whisper" by STP .... "How Do You Sleep" by The Magnificent Bastards (Scott does vocals) ... and "Circles" and "Drop That Baby" by The Wondergirls (vocals)... All amazing!
Another Golden Voice silenced far too soon, R.I.P. Scott. Thanks for the wonderful library of Awe Inspiring tunes, my friend, I hope you've found your peace Brother.
Its not really too soon not many drug addicts make it to 48 like he did for the amount of drugs he did im glad he was able to live this long he really was one of a kind but he was cursed with a horrible addiction
Like John Frusciante they didn't know what they were in store for with the fame and success.... They had an idea but when it all unraveled they both couldn't cope. I hate people who say, "Booo hooo poor rockstar I have all the money and women on the planet worshiping me!! Boo hoo!!"... That's BS because certain individuals like Scott and John aren't all in with debauchery.. They're private, one-woman type guys... The drugs were their way of coping with the mass attention and exposure.. Scott once said he had no idea initially how he could get in the mind frame to, "fool myself up in front of 20,000 people every night that I'm going to entertain them..". Drugs gave Scott in particular the confidence to get up there and believe he could even though he didn't need a thing but his God given talent... So when a certain remedy seems to work for you it turns into a hardcore addiction/habit/disease that become equivalent to having breakfast every morning.. Very complex but easy to explain to an open-mind... Either way, his legacy and music will be cherished forever, we still have that!
I feel that they shoul release an official album with all the Scott era outtakes and bsides..!that would be definitely an album Inwpuld buy now. Please .. For all those who miss Scott so much.. and woukd be nice to Noah and Lucy
Fuck chester and fuck jeff gutt! STP lost their only singer, which happens to be the GREATEST vocalist, lyricist, and frontman of ALLTIME!!! Scott Weiland!!!
