Gorgeous wood - the exotics are so beautiful. A friend of mine is a cabinetmaker and would get some of the expensive exotics for some projects. They are so interesting to look at for the colors and grain patterns even as basic wood chunks. It'll be great to see these used in your upcoming projects. It always impressed me that a blacksmith would know so much about the types of wood that compliment one of their builds. Regarding wood, what would you recommend for a Smith and Wesson 686 and 629 grips? They’re both stainless finish round bottom styles.
