Rob I never thought to use a bottle for a tool caddy your instruction is very simple to follower for a beginner. Thanks
I just want to say that your enthusiasm is contagious!!! thank you for being born!!
Thanks for your awesome comment and support Cassandra! I really appreciate it!
I love that Rob is so bistitchual! Thank you so much for this!
Pretty Cool Rob! I love to watch you sew, you just have so much energy, those power drinks work!
Super cute project! It can be adapted in so many ways, and not even just for knitting! Thanks for another awesome sauce tutorial!
That's so true, Cheryl! It can be used for so many things!
"I thought it would be cool maybe slide it on your arm if you were going jogging while knitting."
Hahahaha. AND he said it with a straight face :D
Jogging while knitting...to the couch...then to the aircraft...
Hey, we all do that, right? Lol
Project is way cool!
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for tuning in!
what a great tutorial!! I am going to adjust it to a Foldgers coffee container for my travel beading kit!
Incredible idea Melody! Love to hear how it goes!
That's called a box pleat opposite your velcro, typically you make it 1st ... fewer of those annoying threads to cut!!!! Great vid, keep em comin'!!!!
I really love this and I need to make one so I can take things with me on trips. Even if it's just a trip out to the barn to feed our barn cat Leah. I like to spend time with her out in her office in the barn and if I had one of these, I think I would actually be able to work on projects without her "help".
I need this and know it's going to be a great pattern for other uses, like a caddy for the beach
It's fantastic to have around Jennifer!
My grandmother used to make something similar with the bottom 2/3 of a bleach bottle. We used it to carry home our wet swim suits.
@@johng423 it's uncanny to think our grandparents were recycling before we knew what that even was. They were certainly smart to re use items in a valuable way
Good job. Love this idea but man it looks small for what I would take with me. LOL. I am proud of you for putting video's out like this. Not a lot of men would do it and you sure would not get a man from back in my day to do something like this. Keep up the good work. Love watching you every week just to see what you are going to do next.
You can certainly make it bigger, Tammy! Thanks so much for the encouragement. It's fun to do what I'm passionate about and share it with others. :)

That's great to hear Suei! I appreciate your fantastic support!
Very cool!
Definitely very cool! I'd need a ginormous version. I make sleeping matts for the homeless outta plarn. 3ft by 6ft when done. But the concept is perfect! 😎XO❤XO💘XO❤😎
Very good video. I love making, and having, bags for my knitting. Rob you might find it easier to sew the round part together first and then add the circle. I find it will sew on without too much fiddling. Anyway, thanks for all of your videos. A.
Thanks so much for the great tip, Alan!
So very clever
Janet Cozens no not at all are many other brands like embroidery electronics when making big mandalas noises are just enoing répétitive and so often pay that in demonstrations in some video they cut the voice hagahhah
... I think I'm in love
I love you sewing mayn
I"ve been wanting to make a project like this for a special person. Thanks for a great tutorial that can be adapted to other sizes!
I noticed your thread makes for beautiful topstitching! What did you use?
Hey Rob, I'm a male knitter, and crocheter. Some knitters don't like velcro because it can actually snag and ruin finer yarns like cashmere, angora, qiviut, and even merino wool. I think snaps, magnets , or buttons would be a great solution for that. Also, many of the men in my knitting group (we have about 5 at my local knit night) would prefer a canvas or stiff denim case with grommet eye loops for a pull tie but lined with cotton so it won't be abrasive on finer yarns. Do you have any tips on fabrics, threads, or sewing machine settings and feet?
Thanks for the awesome feedback soschadao! You should check out my great thread debate quick tip tutorial by clicking on the link below! Hope this helps, and let me know if more questions come up!

superb
Yep, something I need to make...wish hubby wouldn't thrown MY empty coffee can or #10 can away!! Wonder how it might do to put a zipper instead of velcro...just thinking out loud
Do you travel with the bucket or just the sleeve?
If I used a plastic container that is lightweight, such as a plastic coffee "can", I would probably keep it all together. The added structure might keep knitting needles from getting broken.
since you are making your knitting carrier do you have tutorials on knitting or crochet
Not yet Cheryl, but something I need to consider doing! I do have a cool easy weaving with purl and loop looms tutorial that you you might like to see by clicking on this link below!

Thank you i will check it out
One more question please. .. you explained the foot but I didn't catch the name of it. Is it a "binding" foot?
Sorry about that Susie! It is a binding foot! Do you have anymore questions or concerns that I can answer?
can you pleeeaaassseeeee explain topstitching!!! I get that it's "stitching done on top". but how? "with a top stitching needle, of course", yes, I get that. but how exactly? I am so confused by that. that and "scant quarter inch"
Those are two things that no matter how many people or many times I ask...no one answers.
Top stitch makes a row of continuous stitches on the top or right side of a garment or other article as a decorative feature.
A scant quarter inch is just slightly smaller than a quarter inch.
Jogging while knitting...lol!
Not easy to do Pebbles Walk! :)
Drivers should be on the lookout for the "KNITTERS CROSSING" sign!
Jogging while knitting haha
Jogging while knitting us totally a thing...believe it or not! www.yahoo.com/style/hot-new-trend-knitting-while-running-marathons-100134616.html
It could be a great way to combine hobbies! ;)
I forgot about finger knitting:) Thanks for the info.
is brother the only brand that makes annoying beep boop noises when cutting the thread and raising the presser foot that you cant turn off?
Jogging while knitting😂😂😂😂😂
I like you ... (:
