But after reading this most recent comment of yours, it appears you’re hurting, and maybe you’re still intentionally seeking some hope, some comfort here among the lyrics of this song. Maybe I’m wrong. In any event, my heart breaks for you. It sounds like you were serious & sincere in your seeking. But silence from God is difficult (understatement) to accept. For what it’s worth, dear one, I will pray for God to reveal Himself to you. Even if you tell me not to.

Your comment just made me cry because these past few nights i have been thinking the same thing. How many times can i make the same mistake(s) and still dare to ask God for his forgiveness. Especially when i just keep coming back to the same sin. I no longer have the courage nor capability of asking for His forgiveness. All i can say is I Am Sorry God. I am so sorry that i have done this in your sight, in my selfishness and constant self seeking. I have given up many times on having a relationship with Jesus because of the many mistakes i have made and just feeling like i was taking advantage of Him and His mercy. Knowing that even if i do this sin i know he will forgive me anyways so whatever. But now, after pouring my pain and heart out to God out of pure hopelessness and loss of the will to go on, i have the mindset that i am going to still try. I have to try. Even though i know i will fail many times and not ever be the perfect christian, i will still try. I am tired of giving up and just existing. I wish i could go back to when i was younger and i had newly been introduced to jesus and baptized in his name. I wish i still had that same courage and will to be the best christian i could be for Him. Now all i want is to at least have some sort of relationship with Him. I know i have to change my way of thinking. I have hope in my heart that little by little, one day i can get back to having that close relationship i used to have with my father, jesus. @@JVsetlike thanks man 💛 there have been some struggles here and there, but it will never stop me from coming to Jesus and seeking Him. The devil likes to put shame in my heart and sometimes i let myself be discouraged and disappointed that i still trip over my feet throughout this walk (like i just expect, after one day or even a week, that i will be completely over the old sinful desires i had and never stumble). But then if i was meant to never stumble in my walk with Christ, what exactly was the reason for His Grace? For His Mercy? He is full of grace and mercy for a reason. He Knows we are not perfect and we will fail as we begin to form and grow our relationship with Him. But like you said, He also knows our hearts. He knows that even though we stumble and go back to a certain sin in the flesh, what our heart really desires. The desire to have a genuine and loving relationship with Him. 🙏🏼
It will take some time, but i know i will defeat and overcome all these sinful desires of my flesh through Jesus, not by my own strength or will but through His strength & sacrifice. By feeding my *spirit* with God’s Word, His music (which praises Him), and in prayer, then i will overcome my *flesh.* My carnal desires will no longer have a hold on me, as i will have new spiritual desires to live for God and for the benefit of my *spirit* [and my personal/spiritual relationship with Him] rather than my *flesh* [and the lustful, self-seeking desires of it]. I pray we both grow in Jesus and never give up ❤️ we can do this! 🙌🏽

@@EricForceOne I’m glad you came back to this song Eric! And Never stop coming back to God. Remember we as humans sin Everyday. No one is perfect. This is also why we should ask God forgiveness of our sins Everyday, even for things we may not have realized we did which was wrong in God’s eyes 🙏🏼 I believe you can and will stop falling back to the sin you are overcoming, through the strength and guidance of Jesus, with His Holy Spirit. Ask and pray that Jesus sends His holy spirit within you, to live in your heart and lead you through this battle of temptation. Also remember to feed your *spirit* more than your flesh. Spend some time reading the Bible, or watching Christian sermons/vids on RUclips. (It doesn’t have to be multiple chapters of the Bible either...you can start with reading a few verses everyday, but just seek Him. The best way we can get to know God and strengthen our relationship with Christ is through the very book made by Him). Even doing plans available on the Bible App is a great way to start getting into His word.
Also just take some time to talk to Him throughout your day. Whether it be thanking Him for a good night’s rest when waking up in the morning, or for you and your family’s health, maybe help with a certain temptation you are dealing with, or even asking Him how you can spread His love today. It doesn’t have to be a long, well thought out, or elaborate prayer. Remember God already knows what we need and what our hearts desire before we even ask it of Him. He also knows our hearts more than we do, and He already knows how genuine we are in our prayers...so although some times we tend to repeat the same phrase “forgive me forgive me, I’m so sorry god” over and over again in one prayer, He already knows whether we were sincere about it the first time we said it, though sometimes our guilt and shame tends to eat away at us and we feel like we must beg for it over and over again. But God is so merciful and full of love He forgives us every time, if we have true repentance in our hearts. ❤️

I've done some bad things over and over and over, for many years. But still, His Love pours over me like a true Father would do. He is greater than all my regrets. All my shame. All my depression. I'm looking towards answered prayers, and a whole new future.
Jesus never promised an easy life. We will still experience grief,pain, etc. There is growth in this. Lean into Jesus not your own understanding. This is our cross to bear.

For a long I have been stuck in feeling guilt and anxiety from all the past things that I have done wrong. I'm learning to let go of it, but every once in a while Satan tries to remind me of every time that I have failed. When he does I'm learning to turn my focus on on instead, this song definitely helps to remind me how much Jesus loves me. God is so good!
We were never meant to carry burdens. We were never meant to carry our past forgiven sins. Satan may remind us of those. But we have truth on our side. Speak that our sins are as far as the east is from the west. His forgiveness knows no end.

Funny as a child I was called a sand n@$$$. I was white , I thought I was the whitest black person and would pray to god to make me blacker. Before I made the word to mean piece of crap. I recently had to stop saying it with a hard r . I just don’t have the energy for many more fights. Over this stupid word that was made to hurt the most recent of slaves. But every color has known slavery. Now we’re all modern day slaves . They just use it now to keep us spread. Because under the human race United we would overthrow all these crooks. The pain runs deep for all us have nots. Jesus ran with all of us have nots and those that have will have a hard time in the end.

My prayers are with you I struggle every day with anxiety and we can look to Jesus to help us by focusing on why we are here and it might sound strange but seriously listening to Christian music helps my anxiety and also prayer and one last thing know you are not alone! God Bless!!!
I struggle with anxiety also... have for most of my life. Sometimes I feel like I should be able to just give it to God and make it go away but it doesn't always happen. Listening to music like this definitely helps because it reminds me that God is always there. That he will always love me. Even when I feel like I stuck in the dark, I know that the light of Jesus can shine through. I will pray for you! :)
