You guys are a season late. It was the same story last year. Tomlin coaches in his fears, the optics of an undrafted guy starting over HIS handpicked 1st round rb, Tomlin is too prideful to admit that mistake.
This is Pickett’s time to prove that Canada was the problem. These last 7 games could determine his career
As much as I love the guy, he NEEDS to prove that he was worth that pick. Even if he can't do that, we should keep him as the backup. He's a whole lot more reliable than Mitch
We chose a RB coach as the offensive coordinator I don't know if we will see them open up Pickett.

@@js2003 it’s frustrating that we can’t give up on him bc he has that clutch gene. We’re in qb purgatory. He’s not good enough to be labeled franchise, but he shows up in the fourth and usually does enough to let the Steelers win.
This is a tricky one to predict, I THINK I’ll go with Cincinnati, Browning might catch the Steelers off guard.

Perspective of what is about to happen in cin. Cle ran 29x for 96yds. That's 3.3ypc and they're supposed to be elite at running the ball. Pittsburgh put up 172yds at like 9ypc vs a run d. They faced 3 of the best run d in the league the last 3 weeks, tn 166, gb 205, and cle 172. All Canada had to do was run the ball 3x. They had a 1st and 10 from the 40. It was already a 57yd fg and Pittsburgh kicker hasn't missed this year under 60yds. Even if they got 5yds over 3 rums, it's a 52yd fg. Game over, cle is out of time. But he passes 3 straight and looses yds. Followed by a 20yd punt.
All that just to say “the game will be run heavy”
With Matt Canada now fired , and now the Cincinnati Bengals with no Joe Burrow for the rest of the season
I think the Steelers take this one and they need to get back to the AFC North standings
JB (Joe Burrow) might be out for the year but you still got JB (Joe Bachie) , JB (Jordan Battle) & JB (Jake Browing)
and Chase , Higgins and Mixon
All that added up puts them in last place....they sold their future for the guy sitting in civvies!!

I think Steelers will start off slow while they adjust to the different system of actually trying to score. But by second half we’ll see the difference. I think TJ will finally come back fully and cook up something good for the Bengals tackle. Hopefully Minkah comes back

Mike Sullivan is honestly a major upgrade. He has 2 rings with the giants, coached eli to two SB's. Anything has to be better than canada. Maybe we'll see more throws over the middle. Warren looks more and more like a true RB1 every game he plays.
That means nothing in 2023. They're still running the same plays. The play calls were never the problem. No one is executing and the o-line is bad.
@@elbob17 play calls were most definitely the problem, the adjustments, when the plays are called, and what Kenny is being told will all be different.
Yea najee is not only slow off the line he is horribly slow in getting into proper position for screens. By the time he fiddles around and turns his head picket is already got a guy hanging on him. I don't know why but he engages in double team blocks on the edge before turning around which isn't even necessary. Najee just ain't cutting it in any phase.
I bet pit puts up over 200yds rushing and passing. Cin picked the wrong week to not have joe.
If Pit only has 200yds offense they will lose.

This game should show signs of better passing across the middle and involving Pickens also a nice 1 2 punch between Warren and Harris to keep Bengals defense guessing and seeing a major upgrade across the board. We can win this game but it’s all eyes on Picket, time to see if Canada was the problem or simply part of the problem this game will show fans our possible future for the remainder of the season

@@Fitkid7672 I feel like we already do that😂 run first is nice when you know your pass game can work. Unfortunately, we know our pass game can’t work because Pickett can’t throw more than 10 yards or across the middle. We won’t win any big games without a pass game in 2023

Honestly keep doing what (Steelers) we have been doing and now with better and smarter play calling we should be at least %17 better. That's all we need and the rest will follow, this SHOULD be the turning point to that dynasty we are used to seeing. Its going to come down to the last game like I knew since I saw the schedule released....I just hope we haven't lost that heart I saw us accumulating.

hopefully if we make it to the playoffs it will be more than 7 games. Matt canada is one of the main problems why our offence couldn't move how it should. We have multiple star players such as: Jalen Warren, Najee Harris, George Pickens, Diontae Johnson, Calvin Austin, and the man with the plan: Kenny Pickett. Even though these players couldn't give it their all (with an exception of Jalen Warren) is because Matt Canada was unable to give decent plays for us to win games. George Pickens isn't even getting the ball like he used to, now that Diontae Johnson is back. With Eddie Faulkner taking charge, I have renewed hope for this offense.

As a Bengals fan, I kinda hope that's the case this year. That way all the chatter about "Burrow is only great because of all the weapons he has" will stop. It'll also be good for the team since finishing 5-12 means a high draft pick and much easier schedule next season.

The Steelers can't rewrite the playbook in one week. Taking more chances with the scheme they have just gives Pickett more opportunity to screw up. Cinci's D isn't as good as Cleveland's, but I still see the Steelers struggling to score. Cinci won't score much either. It'll be 17-13 or something like that. The team that has the ball longer will win.

I must say Cincinnati's QB still has JB for his initials, it is not Joe Burrow, but Jake Browning. He looked ok replacing Burrow last week, with a full week of practice he should show some improvements. Cincy is also getting healthy with Tee Higgins back from injury, and a D-Line healthy again, and Pittsburgh not looking very good as of late, I can see Bengals pulling it off by a score of 17-13. Could be an ugly game for most part, but with a full compliment of WR's and a healthier defense, Cincinnati pulls it off in the 4th quarter.

Maybe he is not though as I have not been in the local loop since Wednesday due to family and Holiday. I will check up on that again Saturday though. Thanks for the information though.

This game is why he's gone, holding them back. It should've took a few games to see a difference, but it took just this one to see a difference in that offense.
