I am a licensed Pyrotech and I can tell you that 60 grams is the limit and the bigger the shell the smaller the bang. The 5, 6, 7, etc size is the TUBE length not the shell. Not all Buy One Get Two's are gimmicks. The stores who are generally "gimmicky" are the chains and big brand stores. I have found true Buy One Get Two single location places around me. their BOG2's are FAR better deals than anything else. I have seen canister kits and NOABS going for $300 around me...these shops, offered the same $300 kits and NOAB's BOG2 at a lower price. ($250-$260) which was a far better deal than anything anywhere. In the end, knowledge and research is key. If you know what you want, know the industry and prices...you can find places that have amazing offers that aren't gimmicks. Also, I know you hate Excalibur (you mention better canisters than Excalibur all the time)...but Excalibur is popular because when it came out it was king. It will always be king because it set a new standard. who cares if more or better canisters were made, that's what happens when something is great. everyone tries to surpass it, and usually do. Excalibur spurred on this competition and will always have a place in true pyros hearts. =)
That's still the gimmick. If you can get NOABs for $75-90 at a good place, then doing "BOG2" @ $250 is literally the gimmick in action. If you walk into a store selling a consumer 24 kit for over $100, just walk out and find another store!
I just picked up one for $50. is that good
Not all Buy One Get Two's are gimmicks.
Tent in i wanna say Nebraska had legit prices, the only BOG2 stuff was for the individual candles and stuff and it would be like $2 for 3 then.
Their NOAB 3"ers ranged from $60-85
@@oldkingcrow777not in Ohio. Our prices are atrocious because Phantom has influence in the state….the BoG2 ends up being a phenomenal deal for a NOAB as mentioned. Most of these places work with you anyway.
Don’t buy at Phantom or TNT❗️
This video does not help anyone but the seller. Be better shoppers.
