Simply The Best by Dominator took it for me personally. Amazing gold willows, lace, and crackle. Definitely stood out from the rest. Dominator is one of those brands that never disappoints.

We are living in the golden age of canister shells. Pretty much any kit is going to at least be good to very good. With more and more being outstanding. Good stuff.
not true, pretty much all of Black Cat's products are still garbage, including their canister shell kits.

Those super wave, both 4" & 5" shells were really impressive! But, everything in this video was soo good!

I gotta say - fireworks companies have really been bringing it with the shells this year. I've seen so many awesome looking shell kits - it's hard to choose which ones to get. And you've got kits with tails, mines, willows - just about anything a person could want. Sometimes I complain about bottle rockets and jumping jacks not being as good now as they were when I was a little kid - but we also didn't have stuff like this. I guess the trade off is totally worth it. Haha. Fireworks rule.
This is easily my favorite video you've done, been watching for a couple years now. The 5" super waves are amazing, would love to see them against the big daddy shells.

The super wave 4" or 5" definitely my choice.
As someone who sells fireworks I always enjoy your videos man. Definitely helps to see what other products compete with our current line up and what we should look into replacing.. I would love to see another canister shell comparison video but with Neon shells. We carry the black label 5" neon super shells but have had things like neon rage in the past. I am really curious to see how the black label 5" super shells compare to new products on the market and to see what 4" neon shells would be worth carrying. Hopefully you'll make a video of this soon!

I bought Excalibur 4 and 5-inch shells last year. I like them a lot
They were all excellent kits but for me personally I liked the Pyro Packed kit.
I did a five grand fireworks show and ive learn and watch ur shows all the time you and i would get along i love blowing the skys ups its all about the rush
I liked the 4" Super Wave over the 4" excals, the 5" platinum excals over the 5" super wave and the 5" Simply The Best Dominator over the 5" Pyro.
The platinum Excalibur were my favorite. I have been using Excalibur for a long time, but they seem to not go as high as they used to now. The platinum ones definitely don't go as high, but they were very consistent and have a nice burst.
The shells got better and better and the Pyro Packed 5" were the most impressive. By far my favorite of them all. I'm going to look for them

It would be nice if you would include price. Some might perform a smidge better, but they might cost twice the price for marginal increase in performance.
I know locally one of our fireworks stores sells 3 of these, they are all around $145, to $157. One not shown is Diablo by Black Cat, they're about $150 at my local store. But they're amazing.

When I use the tightly packed tube racks, I make a tube of blue painter's tape to protect from fuse jumping. Just bear in mind the tape will burn as the fuse travels through it! Nice touch with the wide angle, it makes it much easier to judge break size. 😊

Those Darts, Zippers at the tent I get them from here in KS World Class believe, are my absolute favorite firework. I also like to wait till the end of the fuse and chuck them in the air for even more fun. Sent one straight down the street once.

Great vid. The wide angle is what helped me make up my mind. Way better perspective. And I agree with some of the commentors that the 5" Super Wave definitely gave Excal Plat a run for their money and surpassed with some shells. At the current price difference I can get 4 24pks of 5" Super wave for the same as 3 of the Excal Plat. It's a no brainer. Mix in some Rain Fire from Winda and maybe some Holy Nishiki and wow.......

Great selection. hard to choose, but the last couple may have been the best collections. Also the range of colors was excellent across the board. Lots of greens, blues, reds, gold and silver and dare I say some purple? I loved the color selections

I think pyro pack 5 was the best. The shell that at explosion sparks going straight out then took a sharp turn at the end, thought that was really cool.

SIMPLY THE BEST...
Seemed like the Dominator and the Power Packed shells had more stars packed in, and the Super Wave 5" and the Excalibur Platinum had more boom packed in. All of the shells were great though, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Hey man this is a good video and I really appreciate you taking your time to give us this amazing comparison. One shell kit I would recommend would be the 5" Titanium Willow shells by Major League Pyro. I will be picking up a box of these and as a California Pyro, I would like to see cody b demo them!
Each one had it's own unique plus. Of course you had the nmbest perspective. Seeing from a TV or phone screen, it just isn't the same. At least that's my humble pie opinion. They were all gr8. Some spread it out better (by timing), some w combinations, & I'm sure some by size & loudness which you can only appreciate in person. Thanx for the review.
