I love how the 3 of them are all so socially awkward but in different ways.
If the cameras weren't there they would be a lot more energetic, you can see Kurt in the beginning not looking towards the cameras direction. one example of this is that he doesn't look a the apple when it rolls away, it was kind of weird that he wouldn't or, nothing in life matters, let's party :-)

@@denisepaulsenful No, he was very interested. He was going through opiate withdrawal and I believe was just on a small dose of Methadone. I've been through opiate withdrawal several times and it's no picnic. It's even worse when you have to be out in the public and have to function and act as if everything is ok when you are literally feel like you are dying inside. It's so much harder than people could ever imagine.
when shonen knife said they liked touring w nirvana because theyre "nice and kind men" made me tear up a bit that was so cute 😭
Kurt always said bringing Shonen Knife to America for the first time was like seeing The Beatles. He got emotional about it, said he almost cried it was so beautiful. Thank you Kurt for your influence!!!! Shonen Knife plays to this date and had the pleasure to see the band. Kurt's awestruck here :)

I constantly wonder how hard it must have been for Kurt to transition from nothing to having his entire life filmed and anything he wanted at the tips of his fingers, if he wanted it. It isn't hard to understand how that can be difficult to deal with. His impact on us will never go away.

I love that Kurt would rather take a band that was not well known at the time on tour with Nirvana, he done this frequently and also wore t , shirts of the lesser known bands he liked, some of these bands are still doing ok to this day cos of Kurt/ nirvana.rip Kurt .

Aw, i was hoping that this would be released eventually, but i can't help but feel bad about watching it because kurt never had privacy. Either way it's great to see someone having a good time with one of their favorite bands!
kurt agreed to do this. no one forced him. he was absent from plenty of interviews he didn't want to participate in. this isn't really private footage; it's someone in Nirvana's crew filming Nirvana and Shonen Knife being filmed by a TV station. Kurt was probably just jet lagged and dopesick but I bet he still could've/would've backed out if he wanted to.
Tbf he was wondering if anyone was going to interview them half way through lol.
@@ImaginalComponentBy the time the tour hit JAPAN , KURT noticed that the PHYSEPTONE he was taken for getting off dope contained METHADONE, hooked again he said. So he said by that time opiates and touring had taken a toll on his body that he wasn't in much health as he was off drugs.

Shonen Knife! One of my favourite bands! I skipped work to see them supporting Nirvana at the Queen Margaret Union in Glasgow and bootlegged their show....before heading off back to work and missing Nirvana!

Shonen Knife is a Nirvana in female version
Remember. The better quality video of this is in it's original video tape with Courtney Love. The reason why you see this video kind of bad quality and not so clear its because when people made copies on vhs tapes the move copy one after another copy the lower and less quality it became. So since i know all this about tapes/ This video your watching was around 3 or 4 times copied. So when you make 1 copy... and took that 1 copy with you to make another copy that second copy from that 1st copy tape would end up less quality. Get me ? :) its simple people will understand those who had a vcr machine and made many copies. The 1st copy always turns our good. But when you took that st copy tape to make another copy.... then the quality turns out less and less. Its why the results on this is not as clear as the original tape. Its easy to know. Just thought ill let people know the reason why you always see bad quality videos of nirvana its because of that result. Its not because it was recorded bad quality. Always original tapes holds its quality all the times. So if you had this video from its original tape.. this video would looked far better quality then what it is with this one. I have many tapes of concerts. My friend wanted a copy of my original recoded tape in the 1990s. And so i made a copy. But then my friend some how made multiple copies from the 1st copy i gave him which means the quality was stil good for him until he made multiple copies and then everyone holding a copy of that tape made copies of that tape and so the quality became downgraded. Wanted to tell the world the reason why the quality isn't as good as it should be. Its because of that result. this copy video may as well had been multiple copies over it. Simple. I rather had seen the original quality as i would had been so nice but try tell Courtney love the tapes... perhaps give her 10.000 bucks to get the original tape. Cheers.
