It's recommend just eating your heart crystals right away. Ideally, you can stay digging in the beginning and get full plat/gold armor and max heart crystals before eye can spawn. But also, eye won't even spawn if you stay underground the whole night. Or, you can spawn it and leave the world so it despawns and then rejoin. No use to not use heart crystals right away
@@AttacMage they don't spawn cavern layer... But unlike the eye they won't leave until defeated so it's just a constant threat day and night till they are killed and it's by far worse than the eye in my opinion

And if you all have beds and sleep, it will only be 3 minutes until it's day again and it's safe to go out. That extra health could save you, and saving until 400 is a longgg time.

You can craft an enchanted boomerang with wood boomerang and 1 star, it's a really incredible starter item. 3. Use housing checker to check underneath you for caves/pyramids in desert. 4. You can very easily defeat queen bee with a max regen setup and a sunfury (beenades make wall of flesh easy). 5. Make sure to set up your world before going into hardmode (mob grinder, spider cave, boss arenas, pylons) 6. Always be wary of boulders and turtles in hardmode jungle, both can easily insta-kill you in my experience.

I have actually beaten this a few days ago, and the best tip I can give you is to always stay zoomed in and holding a pressure plate when underground. This allows you to see wires and it has saved me from countless deaths.

With hermes boots, a cloud in a bottle and a flat area, you can go bloodmoon fishing and get some useful stuff like the vampire frog staff. Just remember to not fish at the same time as your fellas or else you might have to deal with 3 bloodmoon enemies at once which is not "very easy"
I’ve been keeping a hardcore world going for a while now I’m pre eow and I heavily recommend carrying like a stack of campfires with you and just putting them everywhere same with peace candles half of my world has those and it’s saved my life getting that extra bit of regen

I love how with each video the quality just gets better and better. I’ve only just found your channel and I am surprised on how you don’t already have more subs than 3k. This video looks like you have at least 50-150k. Also I wonder how many episodes it will take before you get to harmode, I bet like 3-4 more and you’ll get there… maybe.
it might be worth it to carry around a pressure plate to spot traps easier, since they're probably the most dangerous thing in per-hardmode. You can't recall from being hit by a boulder unless you have a godlike reaction time.
Little suggestion: keep your recall potion in the last slot. hotkey something like f or z to that last slot. hotkey + left click whenever you're in danger for split second recall.
lil advice: big worlds are much easier (you can get more surface loot/flinch staff while being safe), it is very nice to have cheap accesories with good modifiers - craft clocks from tin or copper or craft yo yo string just from cobwebs. fishing is a very slow but reliable and safe method which will provide everything you need for brain/worm. bast + dryad + campfire + honey + heart lantern make BIG difference.sitting on a chair boost regen tremendously(good for caving). me and my friend reached mechs before dying. (sorry for bad english) good luck
That beginning bit reminds me of the time someone told me Terraria was a bad game because you couldn’t make any progress within the first hour, so I made a new world and within the first hour literally almost got out of pre hardmode. I was working on hellstone armor when the timer run out
personally i find that the main thing is that when you begin to understand the complexity of some of the things required to do this you really have to consider the information thats required to learn the concept. But also i find that to begin that journey one has to realize that sometimes things just dont happen but obviously once you find that strategy i think you'll understand where im coming from, either way as long as you keep that in mind yeah man totally just keep going till you realize that.
Thank you, you motivated me to go solo on hardcore. I died once, but after this death, I became careful af and feeling better than when I after classic went to a full expert. Expert rules after forgiving classic were harsh, but after expert when I lost endgame eq with one stupid Alt+f4, hardcore feels good (also all knowledge helps a lot)
I feel like summoner would unironically be the best thing to go for in this considering most of the danger comes from the in between of going around to new places and trying to get loot. Plus with Abigail who you can get extremely early as long as you don’t mind killing a few npc’s, and the leather whip, you could realistically have a summoner “build” before you kill any boss. Now of course all of this is after you get past the super early part of the playthrough but I still think you should take it into consideration.
main downside is that later game summoner has some of the hardest and most nonconventional ways to get good equipment. that one blood moon miniboss is harder than most actual bossed lol
Why would you delete your world and character if one of your friends dies? You can just still play in this world but your bro will create a new character

Found another great underrated ytber to add to the bingwatch list.
Also, having NPC's reduces the mob spawn rate in that area, the max decrease in spawn caps at three NPC's, but it is so helpful in hardcore.
