Hate it when this happens. Finally got tired of the random jump scares in my own house that I now just give the damn thing a beer whenever I see him. Pretty chill dude once you get over the perpetual nakedness.
It'd be cool if we got an updated reboot of some of these videos, even if they aren't the best quality I have nostalgia for this channel and it's found footage films/videos as I used to watch these videos all the time as a kid
million dollar movie production company's make more mistakes than b grade movies... Just saying , I think these guys are very talented, very quirky and keep you intrigued
why do people keep posting comments about how this is "obviously fake" of course its fake. it says its a found footage "film", the keyword being film meaning not real. it doesnt claim to be real and i wish certain people would stop trying to sound clever by pointing that its "obviously fake" when it doesnt claim to be anything but.
To all haters: I do not care if you dont like this film, but please do not compare it to The Rake. They are completely different films, the Rake stands alone as this film has two planned sequels. The Rake was a horror film, this is an Experimental film based on "found footage" thus making it more realistic than the Rake because the footage recorded is exactly that. "found footage"
+Wyatt Scott I totally agree with that, especially if you go hunting ghosts or abandoned houses and such. One very reason, there might be a killer or a creature the will harm you, not every thing is cuddly ...... sadly
@UnknownHazard95 This film was not rushed, it was carefully planned and recorded of a period of 3 months. I am proud of this film, I dont care if YOU dont like it because I do.
@craigslinger43 The hair was supposed to be coming from the mask, the creature has a receeding hairline. We spent time on this film to create a deeper meaning, and symbolisms that relate to our lives. The Rake is the film with the rushed ending, and the few and far between special effects.
To all the people who say its fake, well of course it is fake! It's a horror movie. The people of the channel make lost tape like videos. Great vid guys keep it up!

I like the multiple camera perspectives when all three characters were exploring. I especially liked the reactions from the characters and their breathing, which resemble real fear. My only complain is the way the create itself is presented. Like the Rake (yup, going there, sorry), it was mostly seen through that night vision camera. When the Fester ran across the open area near the end, that was a lot more suspenseful because it was running and the characters didn't know if it had seen them.
Sweet Jeezus. You KNOW someone is coming in, yet you don't just frickin LOCK THE DAMN DOOR if the first frickin place???? "Oh, if it gets worse, I should probably lock that. You know, I have no problem going to sleep when any freakin thing can just walk into my house". Yeah..... Then again if he did that the movie would be three minutes long. lol
Honest feedback: You had me until you revealed your monster completely in the 1st Act. Think Ridley Scott's Alien. How long did it take for you to actually see the titular character?
This is a good film you guys used the same house in the rack and same creature too but I got scared and that's why this is better than an actual movie in a theater
hey dude, haha i just called you and chatted for a minute, youre gonna go somewhere doin this man, your movies get me stuck and dialogue is AMAZING, very professional like... keep up the good work man...
Oh, found footage movies. I've seen a few of your movies now. Let me start by saying that if you REALLY want to be film makers, you are going to have to learn how to deal with feedback (even the most ignorant comments) by either ignoring them or engaging in conversation. That's part of the business. Now, a few things about your movie. The concept and story outline? Great. They always are. I think your pacing is really on target for horror as well. I see so many big budget movies that don't understand pacing, so I appreciate that. I also think your lead sounds natural when talking to himself. I usually HATE "found footage" acting. Now, a few constructive criticisms as you guys move forward. Look at doing a "real" movie. Most found footage movies are a product of someone with an idea but without the skills to execute it. I'm not saying you guys are lazy, but most "found footage filmmakers" are because they swing a camera around for an hour and call it good. It doesn't feel very well planned out. There are many moments that your cinematography feels that way. I loved the Blair Witch Project because of the fear it managed to generate, but half the people couldn't get through it because the filmmakers didn't bother to think about vertigo or simply being able to focus on what we are supposed to see (in the non-scary moments). Like the friend arriving with the security camera was sooo shaky, I had to look away. The other thing I'd like to see "found footage" filmmakers do is question their own character. This is hard and even big budget movies make this mistake. With "found" movies, this mistake is more glaring. Why was our lead leaving the garage open at all? Especially after knowing there were intruders? Why were all the lights in the house on at 11pm while he was sleeping? If he's creating a video blog, why was the first entry so poorly lit? Why post a blog about intruders but not call the cops? These are questions that can become a distraction as the movie continues on. Look at your own movie like an a-hole viewer who will pick apart what they see and hear. It will really help. I think you have MUCHO potential to do MUCHO better work. There simply needs to be more time, care, and self-criticism into your movies. I hope these made sense and are maybe helpful to you. I will keep watching as I think your movies are entertaining.
Found footage films are what this channel is about. If you want to view some of my other film work not dealing with this style, please visit the channels "KennyMitchellcollins" "RickyStanks" or "AmericanPurity" Also you can view the films "The Good Man" "Stepping into tomorrow" and "unwritten rules" on this channel. "The Covet" or "Ouija" Is Probably My Most favorite from You Guys! When I First Seen "Slenderman" I Seriously Thought it was real. And for "The rake" You Guys did amazing. I Really Love watching the vids you have. It Has Inspired Myself and Family to do things similar. Get It Up Peeps! ^^
the problem is i think im the only person on youtube without a camera UPDATE things in my house keep disappearing and repapering. i really should invest in a video camera
They should have at least got a bald head piece that covered his entire head lol...in the second clip with the security camera you can see the dudes hair sticking out from the back of bald head piece LMAO!! First of all, I would have just locked the god damn garage door lol...This has to be one of the worst home made found footage videos I've ever seen....However it is amusing and good for a few laughs!
3:16 - The biggest worries of this movie is that there's a random person on your bed you don't seem to notice And how obviously it's a person by having him on his hands and knees moving the top half of his body like he's pretending to be a dog sniffing at something
I'm at 30:00 right now, and I'm thinking "Dude, you morons, it's not paranormal, it's one of your schizophrenic stoner neighbors and he's got the fuckin' munchies, man." And a ouija board? Really? I didn't even think psychic frauds used those things anymore because they're so cliche and childishly fake, lol. This is more of a comedy than a horror film, but I still like it for the entertainment value.
Slip up at 11.10, if he thinks it’s kids then why, when his mate is setting up the camera, does he say that the fridge is where. “The thing is spending most of it’s time” suggesting that he already knows what IT is.
around 17:20 you look close enough you can see that its a suit and you see that he is wearing some kind of hat or beanie you will notice his hair sticking out from the back
One thing I don't like is how illogical the characters are thinking, I know it's typical for a horror movie, but...aaaargh, but the rest is pretty sweet for home made stuff.
a couple of things; 1. im surprised the creature wasnt just LOOKING right at the camera, i mean, it KNEW it was being watched. im surprised it didnt break the camera or take the camera with it too. 2. take all that crap out of your fridge, and then see how long it stays in your garage THAT time! or maybe even set a little prank trap
A quick review: Plot:A decent yarn. It defied expectations at times, like when Mike left early and when you went to the old house. It was a bit complicated, which meant that sometimes the film felt confused. I also liked how you worked found footage into the story, much more seamless than usual. Effects and setting:Cool setting. Having much of it in the home was nice for a change of pace. The location at the end was neat, but too similar to much of your content. I liked the grey alien; it was intimidating. However, it felt a bit too similar to the Rake. Characters: I really liked the characters this time around. They were far more interesting than usual, and were your only characters on par with the Rake. John: I liked that he was more calm than some of your other main characters. I also thought he was the most motivated, as he had a reason to be filming. I also like his apathy, and how it read into his back story. I liked that he had a back story. Sam: Just playing the usual kind of chill, strong, dependable character in all the videos. Good here too. Mike: Better than the Rake, where he dead too soon and spoke too little. Liked the kind of pretentious mystic thing he was doing. Fourth: Very bland character, who barely says anything. Problems: The end. I didn't get why they went to the scary location, instead of just using their own substantial camera evidence to support their case with the police. Formulaic climax. Why was. John filming at the end? Conclusion:6/10
12:07 That's the Rake. I have been watching videos about them, and the camera or something else, not quite sure what, makes a small squeeling sound and the creature in this video moves the same way.
dude when it comes to creep scares, your a genius, but in my opinion, you should add a little more jump scares to your films to add more time and to make it more memorable.
The Rake just like "Hey,My lady and I are getting it on down the road and she's wanting to get a little drunk,hope you don't mind if I take a beer for her and I. K thx bai." Or "Yeeeep just getting me a midnight snack...Ooooh! Low fag yogurt! 8D" Yeah,I couldn't take that part seriously XD;

That was not bad ! I loved it, the only thing that I don't loved is the night vision, everytime, I'm like " Ok so there's night vision, so the Covet must be really near of them ", but it's still very entertainning, good work
He went in the stall thing... "Hey guys I gotta take a shit, let me go into this convenient stall" *Screams* "Woah why'd you scream?!" "Sorry, my shit stank"
Hmm,guys i'm not sure on this one.I liked the idea of it and i think the whole story was leading up to something good, but i feel as though the ending was rushed.I preferred The Rake but this was good too, just not as good.I understand the effort that must have been put into this.6/10.Looking forward to the next one! P.S-The "covet" or whatever the creature was supposed to be could of been made scarier,at 17:28 you can tell its your friend as you can see the hair coming out of the mask.
Just be glad that EnterViral is releasing movies that they make to the public for free. I for one would have bought The Rake and this if they came together in a two disk bundle or something like that. Keep up the good work EV.
I see you found "Sam" after having lost him in the woods by the mine 3 yrs ago in your video called "THE RAKE - Found footage Horror Film" Hahaha --Mistake I found, You told him you've been there for 2 days, a few minutes earlier you told us you have been there a week. --13:37 "Three more beers are gone" did that guy/"thing" eat the bottles? Because it left with nothing in hand. --Bad move changing the camera angle because we now get a rear view of your naked friend and from 17:25 to 17:28 BAD work on that skin cap. I can see his hair line in the back. Other than this stuff.....it's a decent movie. Good job. Note** I really hope it's a cat you own. Because if those autofeeders at 12:55 belong to a dog, it's time to get a new dog.
And to everyone, the creature is not "The Covet" that is the name of the film. The creature is "Fester" who they had been researching.

4:50 Note to self, evil thing loves Buzzlight. Sweet!
Yep so if u see on just hand it a bear and run
I loved it!! 10 times creepier than the Paranormal Activity movies.
I like the original name
You all have some damn good talent and potential, great work.
Just be glad that EnterViral is releasing movies that they make to the public for free. I for one would have bought The Rake and this if they came together in a two disk bundle or something like that. Keep up the good work EV.
the guy-"I-I think we should follow the noise"
me-WHY DO YOU NEED TO FOLLOW IT!?
This was horrifically entertaining. Well done, my friend.
You can see the alien dewds hair at 17:25
3:54 Arizona tea! I'm actually drinking some of that flavor right now LOL
the one thing you should never do is fallow the noise that it's come from because you may or may not die
Oh shiz dudde! It's eric and kenny back at it agian!
So what im getting at this is that its a naked thing that comes in your garage drinks beer and crawls out, well that sums it all up
you guys are good at making these videos your acting is realy convincing and this started out like a prank video and turned scary fast.
Wow, that was so awesome. Really, really good work guys. You need to keep making creepy stuff like this
It seems like everytime I find one of these comments the video is gone :/
the acting
could of been better, but theres something about this film the drives me to keep watching
This shits my childhood. I love this channel.
I see you found "Sam" after having lost him in the woods by the mine 3 yrs ago in your video called "THE RAKE - Found footage Horror Film" Hahaha
--Mistake I found, You told him you've been there for 2 days, a few minutes earlier you told us you have been there a week.
+Reacar1 he shoved the bottles up his ass.
It's in my attic so we are going to the woods
21:35 are we still talking about the ouija board or have we moved on to losing your virginity
