My favorite detail from Vector vs Phantom II: even though the 'Major Tom' hit caused me to remove my own belt, at 12:39 my free weapon managed to steal energy from yours and hit you back with it. That's gotta be one of the coolest moments in Phantom's career. Great video and thanks for an awesome match!
Vector is open source as far as I am concerned all I would ask is you do not use endbots name or branding (vector name is okay to use). I do still have a bunch of spare parts if you want to try to get them off me. If you want to chat you can find me on the MRCA discord or jeffbuilds@protonmail.com
If it’s a first year beetle with no history in any other weight class, yeah, it can be a bit sad. But if it’s a amateur or veteran who knows how to drive a D2 or has experience in other classes, it can be a sight to behold. It kinda fits with my philosophy of never starting with a 3lber. Viper kits (1lb) or 150g bots are always your best bots if you are a first year. Basically, only get a D2 if you know how to control a fast, maneuverable bot.
That was a great journey until the round vector could get to!! I ask myself how do you manage to make a polley+belt system so solid even receiving good impacts! I would like to know aldo how do manage to keep the belt well horizontally aligned to prevent it from smashing 😬😊
They still take skill to drive. Was my first time fighting a D2 Kit so I have a few ideas on how to take them on now. Also Vector's drive is much much more powerful now with our lightning 20mm motors.
@@monkeking7253 This is my opinion as a spectator only: I find rammers, wedges and flippers more entertaining to watch than spinners, at least in heavy categories. I can see light spinners being at a disadvantage tho, especially if the wedge has no obligation to have an active weapon.
Nice recap!

Hahaha "An RC car that got into a fight with a hot glue gun"
Great coverage, love the vid!
Thanks
I like d2 kits because they get more people into the sport. but it is always sad to see one win a event using nothing but a plow

@@spaghetticoconut658 Guess I’ll get a D2 then. (eventually)
D2 used to be very competitive.

the belt has ample room to run back and forth on the pulley and the whole thing has some flex.
First fight = Deep Six vs Tombstone
Ha ha yup pretty much
Single tooth weapon for a better bite?
I suppose you could but I don't intend on offering it for the kit version.
what transmitter do you use?
The one seen in the video is a flysky? I use a jumper t-lite now
wedge bots should be banned from robot combat, no skill or entertainment, and unfair

@@JeffreyBuilds true but bots like yours that take hard work just get demolished by 4 wheels and a slope. They’re also super boring to watch
