These annoying guys on parking spots are equally annoying to everybody, not only tourists. The only difference is that we understand what they are saying. Hey guys, Cacau or "Cacao" is the fruit which is used to create chocolate, so Cacau is the main ingredient. we love Cacau juice in northeast. thumbs up
There’s a terrible practice in some places in Brazil where people try to charge you some money in order to “take care” of your car while you’re out. This is not a practice targeted only to achieve foreigners. They ask everyone. Usually people pay when they’re back but You don’t need to pay if you don’t want. This a reflect of the social inequality that exists in Brazil.
Some are agressive, like in Rio and São Paulo. But in Bahia I doubt. Think that you are going to help people to eat. People who don´t have a job and needs it to buy food.
@@tube.brasil In fact, poor people do that, everywhere. The problem is how they do this. In Rio de Janeiro the harassment is agressive and normaly there are others involved in the extorsion. Guess who!
It's really common that people "take care" of your car when you park somewhere. Which doesn't mean you HAVE to pay for it. Sometimes the guy won't even be there when you comeback, or you can just say "sorry, no cash" or something like that.
Não sabia que o sul tenha tido migração norte-americana! hahahaaa... Nem tem dados de que seja a região do Brasil com mais falantes de inglês como segunda língua.
The guy was not trying to charge you because you were tourists, they do that with us Brazilian as well. He was asking to watch your car. What we do we pay the way back or we do not pay at all. As I said before NOT everyone is trying to rip you off....those guys are annoying but they do that to us as well.
yeah u can park there without paying, u don't need to move out, sometimes we pay cuz its their only way to make money, but they wont force u to move your car
It is true, it is a reality in many places in Brazil, you need to learn to say "we pay you in return" " nós vamos te pagar na volta!"unfortunately this is his job
I think, I suspect, that the old man didn't exactly want to take advantage of you, here in Brazil it is common in some establishments and licals to have a more humble person, normally professionally autonomous who charge to keep an eye on the car, but when it is like that parking is free same
Even I as a Brazilian I feel so nervous with this situation regarding those people who wants to earn money just to “see your car” in a public parking, here we usually call him as “flanelinha”. I totally understand you and I also think this situation is so unfair when people wants to take advantage of tourists even with native tourist, they usually want to receive your money after you come back to your car before going away. If you see it again try to reject pay when come back to car saying “I dont have money, I owe you, thanks”, or simply say no before go away, it seams to be rude but that is the way to demand your right and not pay.
Guys, continue going up to Maragogi, Porto de Galinhas, Recife, João Pessoa, Natal, Pipa, Aracati, Morro Branco, Fortaleza, Cumbuco, Flecheiras, Jericoacoara, Paraíba and finally Lençois Maranhenses. The travel along coastal Northeast is really great with many beautiful places to see and stay : )
Hey guys if you go to Belém, you can have some experiences with açaí in the ''ilha do combu''. It is an island in the other side of Belém and it's pretty easy to go there. There are millions of açaí palms there and many restaurants sell açaí totally fresh, you can even see how they make it. Just be aware that in amazon açai is consumed in a different way of the other parts of Brazil 😉

Hey guys, Cacau or "Cacao" is the fruit which is used to create chocolate, so Cacau is the main ingredient. we love Cacau juice in northeast. thumbs up
I really enjoyed your video. Great channel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Greetings from Albania. 👋🏼🇦🇱
THank you. Say hi to Albania for me. I need to go back soon
Eduardo De Abreu it’s very common in Ecuador and Peru. These Guys watch your car and help you back up and stop traffic to get back on the road.
Não é só no Brasil, nos EUA existem essas pessoas tbm.
Social inequality? Most poor people don't harass people for money.
Is your wrist getting better? I wonder if it was acute gout? Was the affected wrist warmer to touch as compared to the other normal side?
The guy was not trying to charge you because you were tourists, they do that with us Brazilian as well. He was asking to watch your car. What we do we pay the way back or we do not pay at all. As I said before NOT everyone is trying to rip you off....those guys are annoying but they do that to us as well.
Verdade...
yeah u can park there without paying, u don't need to move out, sometimes we pay cuz its their only way to make money, but they wont force u to move your car
It is true, it is a reality in many places in Brazil, you need to learn to say "we pay you in return" " nós vamos te pagar na volta!"unfortunately this is his job
@@moysesdude this is not a job. This is extortion. Fuck these guys.
I hate franelinhas. Get a job . Lasy ass malandro
I'm in love with this channel!!! You guys are awesome!!
This has been quite an adventure, you have that spirit of searching for unusual spots like hidden gems types of beaches.
Yes, we don't do topless here.
Hello guys! I'm Brazilian and I'm loving your videos! I hope you visit Brasilia, the capital of Brazil!
You guys should consider come to Vitória no Espírito Santo. There's so many good places to visit in Brazil
Itacarezinho is a very beautiful beach ! 👍 👍
Cacau is what chocolate is made from. I like the way you are travelling in Brazil. I've lived in MA while I was a graduate student at M.I.T..

Video posted 11 minutes ago and I am here already 😁 love to follow your trip!
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Come visit “Jalapão”, in the state of Tocantins! A paradise!!!!
Q&A .How Lindsay manages to be without a sunglass and a hat because the northeast sun is very strong, because I am from that region and I can't stand at least the sunglasses.

I have a question for u guys. Do you feel now that Brazil is that dangerous like some people told you at the begging?
Thank you.
Q&A - Do you think about making a video showing us what to do back in Minnesota? It would be awesome.
Ola, vcs sao otimos.! Adorando o canal!❤ Sim, Lençóis Maranhense é muito bacada.
I think he was charging you to watch your car. I’ve seen this in Costa Rica, we did pay the guy (it’s more like a tip) because we felt that he would either watched our or steal our car 😂. But this has happened to me in the Bronx NY too.
Amei vocês ❤️

You are the best encouragers of braziian typical food. You eat ( and like) everything. Brazilians like people like this!
There are many beautiful places in Itacaré. I live a "few" near there. I live in Itabuna.
Vocês tem uma energia fantástica. Prá fazer tudo isso e ainda estar sempre com cara boa não é fácil.
Guys go to Jericoacoara in the State of Ceará, it's a wonderful beach.
Q&A: I always wanted to go to Fernando de Noronha and swim with giant turtles. Are you planning to travel there?
Moreover, how is your arm healing? I hope it is getting better.
Cheers and great videos!
Casal animado brasil e muito grande
it's a pity that was a cloudy day. The views are so much better when there's a bright blue sky
I'm simply loving!
Here in Rio the GPS can wrongly send you to a dangerous favela, but going through dark and hidden paths like that is perilous as well. Stay safe, folks.
Ps.: you can ask for meals like "quentinhas" using iFood. It's cheap - 4/6 USD - and it's a full meal.
Guys just enjoy every minutes!!And take care always!Alex take care with your hand/arm!I really like all the videos!Tapioca with coconut and condensed milk is so delicious also!So fanny when u guys try to say in Portuguese some words!
