Hello, I am Magnetar. I reside within the Void where space and time become indistinguishable. It is here, too, where I can hear tales from all across the multiverse. Tales of horror, future technologies, AI, Aliens, cosmic horror, world-ending catastrophes, apocalyptic events, space, and more.
So, if you're brave, join me in the Void. Listen to their screams, their pleas, and their stories.
But remember - Astrophobes be warned
----------------------
What is a Magnetar?
Magnetars are some of the most mysterious of all heavenly objects and only one in ten supernovae create these dense cosmic dynamos. Out of more than 3,000 neutron stars discovered to this date, only 31 total magnetars have been confirmed, making their strange existence extremely rare.

Love sci fi/space creepypasta so finding your channel has been a big win for me today. Great story and narration. Keep at it !!
Thanks, glad to have you!
WOW!! Totally AWESOME!! Hope there's more to this fantastic story! We'll done my dear.
I would watch an entire HBO style series based on this world. This story is so, so well done- perfect world building, and mood and everything. Frighteningly believable and just perfectly written.
Also, excellent music choice to set the right mood!
You're in luck, I actually am directing an HBO series based on this world...
I wish 🥺
I do like the world building.
W A T E R W O R L D 😂All jokes aside, what a great blend of post-apocalyptic world building with a tasty piece of concrete plot to cement the dread. Beautifully written, beautifully performed!
Waterworld is a classic.
Water world wish it was this story!! 😆
Great story.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I’ve probably listened to this story 4 or 5 times already
Glad you still enjoy it!
It's very good world building. I could see a sequel where New Miami sets sail at full speed (not very fast since it's solar-electric engines) towards the shallow waters that used to be Florida, hoping to reach the shores of Georgia. Since the oceans rose the mainland became very inhospitable, destitute and war-torn. Along the way they try to contact and warn other maritime communities and warn them of the Mermaids. And they get constantly harassed and attacked by the Mermaids.
Well narrated. This freaked me out so much.
Wow thank you! This was an early narration of mind, I like to think I've improved since. Hope you check out some of the other narrations on my channel. I'd love to hear which is your favorite!
It's so creepy because it seems plausible.
Edit: Maybe not about the merfolk. LOL
Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah did this same story, but yours was better. : ) Thank you!
I love sea beast terror this was epic
I doubt evolution could happen so fast, but a great story anyway. Love it!
I was thinking it wasn't evolution, but instead a race/species that always existed but is now the dominant species in a world of water.
Maybe due to all the farmland and resource areas being flooded, countries collapsed, then went to war with each other, and used nukes, expediting the exodus from the mainland and dumping radiation into the oceans to mutate the sea life.
@@thenewadventuresofhenry6998 Intetesting idea.
Man ,obviously you've noticed I'm on a Magentar binge. I'm just loving ur story selection, and the perfect delivery. Dude has a very smooth soothing voice. And to be fairly new yet already so refined. Ok just see for yourself. And Magentar great work u have some real talent brother.
"Aye, Mermaids. Sea ghouls, devil fish, dreadful in hunger for flesh of man.” - Hector Barbossa |
This should be a full story. I love this so much. Hate the open water but love sea storys. Thanks for sharing
Great content. I love these sci fi type stories.
The scifi type stories love you back 👾
Holy moly this story gave me the chills your narration is superb keep at it More please ty
Thanks! 👾
i love this channel!
👾👾
Good story, good narration. :)
Bro I really like the creepypastas you read.
That was such a fascinating story. I had to listen to it twice. Great narration. Thank you and yes I did like it very much. Have a wonderful Wednesday 💖
Excellent!
This is a neat post-apocalyptic world. I could see the remaining land being abandoned because all the low-lying farmland would be flooded. We simply couldn't feed everyone. I wonder if survivors on the land now live in tribes or city states like those on the water. I wonder how those ocean communities are governed, maybe traditional maritime law hierarchy with captains and a crew meritocracy?
Waterworld hope they find a way to leave Earth.
Sounds like they just have to get back to land. But it seems like all the satellites fell out of the skies years ago and they can't navigate very well. They live on the ocean since that's the only place to find food.
Wish the music volume was turned down a few notches
as someone who lives in miami, this sounds p accurate ngl.
Conspiracy theories make the best stories!
I love sea and space stories, this one lured me in. More like this if you can find them!
Literally the manhwa "Leviathan"
Thanks for the Manga recommendation my friend
@@Tr3s17 awesome read. Enjoy
@Joseph Park man, this manga reminds me of both Zombie World and HIVE. Have you read them
@@Tr3s17 read HIVE but not zombie world. HIVE was pretty good
@Joseph Park Well, Zombie World is good and has mutated zombies of all kinds, from people to animals. It's an entertaining survival story and keeps updating with new chapters. Currently, it has 332 chapters
Oh hell no I hate the sea on a good day this is worse just big nope
Good story, not sure about the background music though
Great narration, but microphone? Shit. Cant hardly hear or understand even at full volume, is it just me or my headphones??
I can hear it fine and haven't heard any complaints, though I have upgraded my set up since this recording.
I think its you. I can hear it fine 🤷♀️
I can hear fine as well.
I have no problem hearing the narration.
According to our "elected officials" this will happen next weekend...
A 2019 IPPC report from leading scientists says that we have about 10 years to significantly reduce our emissions in order to mitigate the worst impacts of the climate crisis.
We're already seeing the negative impacts, if we don't bring significant changes to our economy, energy and transportation systems, then many will suffer.
Something is indeed wrong.
Are they your elected officials or not, why the quotation marks? I think you're so used to putting them around "experts" in order to denigrate whatever science you're currently denying that you've forgotten what they're for.
Also, ellipses at the end? Really, what's with that? I see people all the time on social media just peppering lame attempts at meaningful statements with them unnecessarily. Is there some conspiracy theorist syntax and grammar protocol I don't know about?
@@chillimack I think he's alluding to the election of 2020 allegedly being compromised.
@@itsjustme7487 yeah you're right, I expect he is, but just come out and say it. And imo, even calling it allegedly is being kind, since it's been debunked numerous times by people across the board. Not many people outside of America thinks that it's unlikely that more than 50% of voters didn't like that guy who lost.
I'd say about half the elections I've participated in went against my vote but 🤷
Climate strange fear porn.
What are you on about?
Man what????
Im literally unsubscribing becuse each video has you asking to subscribe at the end. See ya
😂 what!
@@MagnetarYT I can't make my comment any more clear. But you know that. Please let us move on. All the best.
@@luketutka8921 nigga, that was so unnecessary.
@@debofaisbarika5510 and racist comments are?
@@luketutka8921 lol, if you think that's racist, wait until the Plieadeians come to meet us.
Great narration and story, could you turn the music down a tad please, it distracts from your narration. Thanks a lot for this!
I like to think my editing skills have improved since this video was made. Hope you can check out some of my recent videos!
Thanks for the input
@@MagnetarYT I will! Sorry I did not know it was an older vid, I am subscribing!
I wonder if there's an Elysium type situation in this world. A number of billionaires are already looking at Sea Steading today, mostly for tax purposes. I imagine there are at least a few already planned communities for this world. And they had the resources and foresight to make them self-sustainable with enough food and power to keep people living happy. Imagine Colossus from Black Ops 2. I bet they've got a ton of South African mercenaries defending them.
Wish that story was longer I was really enjoying it and finished lol.
Loved it thanks 👍
This was great.
They need to make this one either a movie or a short series! I would like too see how the rest of this world fairs with this startling revelation.
Another awesome narration. I could listen to this man like all day radio. Just narration after narration thanks again my Friend
Good one 👍
What I love most about this story is it could be adapted into the sequel to Waterworld
Seems more plausible, except for the Mermaids.
@@thenewadventuresofhenry6998 true but if you remember in the movie The main character had gills behind his ears so it's like he was halfway there to being a mermaid so I could be set far in the future of Waterworld
They need to make this one either a movie or a short series! I would like too see how the rest of this world fairs with this startling revelation.
As a sci fi fan for over 70 years I loved it.
Now that was a good story! Excellent narration! Loved it!
Second listen. So fucking good.
Is this about Troy McClure? I'll just find out the old fashioned way and listen.
...Oh no, I don't ever want to go back in the ocean.
