It's pretendians wanting benefits and to steal land because they know their settlers having no business occupying this place.

Chicano movement is dead. No one uses that term anymore. Now those same people say Latino another made up term that the French made up. Chicano is a just a made up word some people used to explain their confusion about their background. That confusion can be blamed on their parents and not anyone else. I'm Mexican American and never was a Chicano. I am not confused about my background. All my ancestors were a part of Mexico or the southwest including its history, language, customs, and traditions. There is no Chicano country, language, or traditions.

I feel the same way talking to maoists who hold that the Chicano nation or more ridiculously “Aztlan” must be come independent for their liberation. As a son of two Mexican immigrants to the U.S., I don’t particularly pine for Aztlan and have never met another person like me who does

51:25 im a little confused only because. Is it good or bad to identify native, when mexican.
The knowledge being cycled is circling " its more complicated than race, cause nationality"
And then i get hit with the whole country is using the Cherokee princess narrative.
Directly after saying that the spanish made a cast system for the mixxed indigenous... Im gonna just keep watching. But im confused about what the naritive is supposed to be.
