    Wish you would have taken it one step further and showed how to add it to google home, after the 10 minutes. So after it goes solid blue, do you have to wait 10 minutes for it to start blinking again? If so, what color does it blink? Thanks

      Same here. Good video, but kind of ended quicker than I thought. After the solid blue light during the 10 minute reset, what color should it blink?

    Very useful. Good voice, eye contact, and camera work. Shorter presentations with no more than 3 steps at a time keep the people like me from being overwhelmed. It helps greatly to include procedural mistakes plus how to correct the mistakes. People without a lot of experience stop learning when they make an early mistake and don't successfully correct it. One of the learning principles here is the people with the experience, knowledge, and skill forget how hard it was/is for people to learn things. Good luck. GB

    I have 3 access Points. 1st point is connected to my home router. When I perform the factory reset, do I unplug the other 2 points or leave them plugged in?

  • @aaronm9139
    @aaronm9139 2 года назад

    So I upgraded to the Google Nest Wifi Router ac2200 and wanted to use my old Google Wifi points too. If you want to do this set up, you need to start a new “Home” and plug your Ethernet cable from the modem to the Nest Router. Set up wifi and everything like new. Then you can delete your old “Home” network. You’ll have to factory reset all of the old Google wifi devices to add them to the new Nest system. It was driving me crazy because I did the factory reset but it would never add the old points. The key is the “waiting 10 minutes after it goes solid and then it will start flashing again.” I kept trying to add before the 10 minutes were up because it’s not obvious that you have to wait so long. Once they start flashing again you can add them to the network. Thanks for mentioning the 10 minutes - I never would’ve known to wait that long.

    • @KrisGaisford
      @KrisGaisford  2 года назад

      Orange does mean that their is no internet connection. In my case it was because my router needed to be paired to my network. Is there a chance this is your main hub and it's not getting a connection? I would also unplug any ethernet cables if it isn't the main hub. It might confuse it if your trying to reset it
