Ok this is a year later, but your mom was right - Polly pockets came out in the late 90s or early 2000s when blue bird was taken over by Mattel that were 2-3” with those rubber clothes you could dress them in. They had a few different building sets. You’re not crazy mama marvelous!
I used to have freestanding Toys r Us locations in my area, but they all closed down a few years ago. Now they opened new Toys r Us locations inside of Macy's stores.
