Fun fact: Snake in this battle is voiced by the same man who voiced Vegeta and Piccolo in Dragon Ball. He always wanted to voice Snake, so this was a dream come true for him.
Fun fact, this episode had David Hayter (The English voice actor for Piccolo and Vegeta from the Dragon Ball Z English dub) doing the voice acting for Solid Snake, since it was a role he'd always wanted to do. :)
Um... sorry to do this to you 4 years later, but... David Hayter is the *actual* VA for Snake in the games. I think who you're thinking of, is Christopher Sabat.
Never played Splinter Cell, but MGS was my first and best agent/infiltration game. Would not say Solid is a real fighter, even though he knows hand-to-hand combat, but cool to see this.
Awesome reaction suzy now all that's left of the ones you need to watch are Lara Croft vs Nathan Drake, Leon vs Frank West, Sora vs Pit, Nightwing vs Daredevil, Mario vs Sonic 2, and Thanos vs Darkseid
Loved the reaction. I'm surprised to hear you haven't played 3, since it's easily the most popular of the series. Well, you're in for a treat, especially if you play the remastered version - MGS3 is my favorite Metal Gear game. It's pretty darn-near perfect, as far as I'm concerned. The only thing I'd say to you is that there are "cheats" to get past several of the bosses without actually fighting them, and some people may tell you to use them. Don't. Even if they drag on. MGS3's boss battles are highlights of the game, and a certain sniper fight remains as one of my favorite bosses of all time.
The soundtrack in the later half of the fight is called " Divine Identity" it's the boss theme from one of my favorite PS2 RPGs Digital Devil Saga 2 I loved they used that track
Greetings Suzy. I am a new person that subscribed to you a couple of weeks ago, found you reacting to Death battles, but also discovered your playlist of various games too. Haven't watched much of them yet, though the ones that stand out to me are kingdom hearts, Devil may cry and Bayonetta. I'm a big video gamer at heart myself and always look forward to see what you bring next. You have my thanks. Oh and Solid snake for my pick cause I like him.
fun fact: snake is voice in this ep by legendary VA Christopher Sabot, the voice of vegeta and piccolo from dragonball, alexander armstrong from FMA, kuwabara from YYH, zoro from one piece, and all-might from MHA.
The only other Death Battle I think I can recommend to specifically you now is Link (Legend of Zelda) vs. Cloud (Final Fantasy VII), a fairly old Death Battle, as well as the first 3D fight they made.
when I first saw this I was fairly sure snake would win due to the foes he fought. I didn't know as much about sam fisher as I did snake, but from what little I have played, foes were mainly human and his tech level wasn't as good, but snake has sneaked around and dispatched combatants far more equipped than he was; giant nuke launching robots, cyborg ninjas that can parry bullets with a sword, plus I've seen him take beatings that would have killed sam (or any normal human for that matter). However regardless of how much I knew he would win I knew it would be an interesting battle to watch
They just analized snake's gear and martial arts style. (Which he's basically Konami's Batman btw) He has super human feats too. Since he defeated super human enemies and when you compare him with Venom Snake or big boss
I'd love it if you reacted to Kirby vs Majin Buu. Also, have you heard of One Minute Melee? It used to be on ScrewAttack's channel, but then it was (rightfully) moved to Hyun's Dojo. They're all pretty good. One of the first of them is myself (Captain Falcon) vs Captain Commando. It'd be pretty cool if you reacted to it.
They got some misinformation about the "comms being hacked" issue. Grimm doesn't have a "history" of getting her comms hacked. That only happened once in Splinter Cell Conviction. Snake has had his Codec hacked more frequently than Fisher's comms have been. Remember all the people who kept hijacking the Codec in MGS1? lol
Suzy lu:"If you know why this character will win the fight, tell me in the comment section below" Me: "i know base on the scientificly accurate research and studies of the "i already watched this video WAYYY before you do-ology" that solid snake will win"
snake and sam are in the same universe, they constantly reference each other in the games. Like when Snake was complaining about completing a mission and asked "Why don't you just get Sam or Gabe to finish it" Sam meaning Sam Fisher
This was an awesome battle. I still rewatch it from time to time. I do hope that you also react to raiden vs trump. It's not a death battle but a parody done by the same guys lets play of Revengeance. It's really funny and the music syncs very well with the fight.
I played splinter cell and MGS. If you really want to make a cross over these worlds i really can't imagine how Sam would have win as an expert against someone 100% created to be the best lol.... I still hope for a new splinter cell game 😉
Actually, the codec had one instance of it being hacked into, in the tanker part of Metal Gear Solid 2. Otacon mentions that someone had been monitoring their communications, and says that he'd be less creeped out if they tried to interfere with the communication, but they were just... Watching... So as an extra measure of security, he hacked a manual computer on the tanker to upload the Marine's Metal Gear Ray photos, because he was worried about the hack...
@@HonestOpinions4u Why assume that? It's still a communication program. Signals and information going back and forth. With the right programming knowhow, it should still be intercept-able. Nanomachines are just encoded with the program and made with hardware to run the program. Now the ENCRYPTION is another matter. Since Otacon is such a genius, second only to Sunny and MAYBE Emma. His programming skills are so adept that he can both create and hack encryptions on the level of the Pentagon's security. of course, he's not infallible, as there have been breaches in his encryptions that I mentioned, but they're not complete pushovers either. (And @AICW. I never mentioned it, but... that codec wasn't protected by Otacon level encryption).
hey suzy..maybe you should try playing the SPLINTER CELL SERIES..the best is CHAOS THEORY then for all in espionage play DOUBLE AGENT and continue it with CONVICTION for a great roller coaster story then lastly for action stealth is BLACK LIST.. hope youll enjoy them..
I’m on team Snake, because he’s one of my favorite video game characters even though I’ve only played MGS5TPP 😊 Also...I still love blonde Suzy...actually I just love Suzy in general 😂 💙💜💙
That is, they compared the strength of an experienced elderly special agent and a clone enhanced by training and nanomachines, which has a built-in invisibility? And, of course, Otacon is a great hacker, he hacked a pretty secure system that Blacklist hacked with difficulty. The confrontation was not initially equal, if these idiots had compared the forces of Sam and the Big Boss here we can talk about an equal battle
It'a actually the other way around for me, I've never played a metal gear solid game in my life. I've always played splinter cell series. Sam Fisher is my favorite video game character of all time.
Honestly , for a second I thought Sam would win due to all the counters he had to Snake, then I remembered Snake blew up giant robots built to wage nuclear war and has beaten people on the same and higher skill level than Sam (liquid Snake and Ocelot for instance)
Sam could see the paths of his enemies, reading them. But Snake can just put the comtroller in the player 2 slot.
True
Fun fact: Snake in this battle is voiced by the same man who voiced Vegeta and Piccolo in Dragon Ball. He always wanted to voice Snake, so this was a dream come true for him.
I love this one! I almost cried during Ghost Recon Wildlands when Sam showed up and mentioned "the guy in the bandana", being sad that he's gone.
Solid Snake vs Sam Fisher will always be my favorite death battle
Doggo just chillin' in the background.
As always. :)
20:59 I just realise the volume looking thing in snake's codec looks like a gun
Oh yeah. I never noticed that before. Probably a coincidence, but still interesting.
Rodrick Goldberg I doubt it is a coincidence
@@rodrickgoldberg2324 I always thought that too...

I think solid snake is going to win the death battle. I hope he win.
Cardboard Box is 'A Weapon to Surpass Metal Gear' kkkk
Irmão é melhor não usar k pra rir não ha
You should look at the first ever live action death battle: Daredevil vs Nightwing.
You need to see:
-Thanos vs Darkseid
-Kirby vs Majin buu
-Goku vs Superman 1&2
-Mario vs Sonic 1&2
Plus Chuck Norris Vs Segata Sanshiro, and Deadpool Vs Pinky Pie!
Iron Man vs Lex Luthor.
Justin Bieber vs Rebecca black
Also Yoshi VS Riptor.
Bobo Boy Yet she made a reaction to “Deathstroke vs Deadpool”. Why would she do that if she wasn’t into comic book characters?
Never played Splinter Cell, but MGS was my first and best agent/infiltration game. Would not say Solid is a real fighter, even though he knows hand-to-hand combat, but cool to see this.
Try watching Doctor Doom vs Darth Vader. This made Doctor Doom one of my favorite villains!
Dr doom is op
Of course Solid Snake is the best . He's the Goat
Oh my God lady almost woke up my neighbours when you screamed at the end
Awesome reaction suzy

Niiice. Wish more people went back and watched this one. One of the best death battles imo. Splinter Cell is a great series and worth a check too

Hey Suzy, you said you have never played splinter cell before why not have that be your next playthrough.
Totally agree, yo. Great games.
Please continue persona five, it’s so good oh and thank you for being awesome
Please do Cloud vs. Link! Also, love the reaction!
My absolute favorite Death Battle has got to be Iron Man vs. Lex Luther. Hope to see you do that one!
The song near the end is Divine Identity and it is one of my favorite game tracks of all time.
Also, look at Lara Croft vs Nathan Drake and The Joker vs Sweet Tooth. You should look at something called Super Power Beat Down.
I think Croft vs Drake should have had Indiana Jones come in and cap them both.
No way that is one well made video by screwattack! Ive always perferred Solid Snake Suzy
Love your reaction x
I've never played splinter cell but hell yeah my boi snake won but makes me want to try splinter cell now.

I’m glad you did this DB it’s a good one 😇

I like both sam fisher and snake, but I've been playing splinter cell since i was little so lol.
"Where's D-Dog when you need him?" Long dead. That was his dad's dog.
TheKyrix82 😭
Thanos vs darkseid

the guys at death battle have some really weird ones too. have you seen the Wario vs. King Dedede? gonna give you nightmares for WEEKS, Suzy.
