@@rundown132 I wouldn't use this video just yet if you're in Iron. Better to focus on the basic mechanics of the game. There's a lot to learn so it's best to not overwhelm yourself with information that isn't that important yet. Also the game gets much more fun the higher your rank gets and progress is much faster once you hit silver, so dont get discouraged.

I might spin it off for separate combo + guide vid for whatever the next sf6 character guide will be. Felt good for tekken but not used to talking and explaining SF combo structure in a vid, rather just showing it all in one go like ive done in the past. We will see I guess. this is probably it for akuma dedicated content for the moment. I think for the next sf6 refresh season 2 character guides ill split combos and the main guide back into two vids like i have done before. This format works fine for MK and Tekken but it felt a little off to me doing it for SF.

On a side note, i believe from light testing that his medium tatsu on a grounded midscreen target is an imperfect safejump (43 i think) but another meterless safejump to mix up in the corner is back heavy kick to light demon flip + divekick of choice lets you link to shoryu + super for a cashout but the divekick itself off a demon corner raid gives +42

Awesome video. Definitely going to fill a few holes in my Akuma gameplay. Now I’ll probably regret this, also not sure what’s the most efficient way to type it out but. DR into demon is easier for me then dash demon here’s how…. Fwd- Fwd+LP+MP+HP+MK- Fwd+LP+MP+HP+MK- Fwd- LK+HP (normal 1st or raw) Works every time as fast as possible… natural combo off of all normals, sets up perfectly off of CR.MK and CR.MP, probably other normals too. You can lose some of those inputs and it still works but it’s easier to just mash Fwd and 2 buttons then press LK+HP. It’s stupid easy.
also, for those that dont know, in the corner you can combo light tatsu straight into heavy tatsu. Now some strings can make it not work depending on their juggle state or whatever, but others do. Kinda similar to how deejay can combo his dp kicks into each other in the corner
QCB+HP moving back a bit also looks like it helps prevent the move whiffing on reversals that move forward slightly when trying to punish, which is nice
How at 45:40 isn't a meme yet is amazing to me Ever since watching this guide every time I neutral skip with Demon Flip I let out a, "BREYEAAAAAAAAA" everytime. It's highly effective on discord calls too.

Minor thing to be mentioned: With demon flip, the divekick changes angles depending on the strength of kick. Light is shallowest, heavy is furthest.
