@@avidclown If you're seriously making a remake of sweet or sweet 2th, some sprites need fixing as the white parts of the pokesweets haven't actually been filled in, it especially shows on pokesweets like mintay which are primarily white

Pretty good for a first Mega, tbh. I like how you gave it a reason to appear in the overworld with its lore of absorbing other gummies. Though Parfelure honestly stole the whole show tbh, even without taking into account the glow-up that is just an impressive sprite, and maybe my favorite shiny you've ever done. De-feminizing Chocobun a bit was Honestly a great call, though. Aside from just matching better with the vibes of its base form, the more suit-like dress-hybrid honestly fits it *way* better in its idol/preformer role it seems to fill, while also looking stylish as hell. ((Also "popular for the wrong reasons" as if Gamefreak didn't know they were embracing the *freak* half of their name on this design. They're adults, knew what they were doing.))
6:40 To put it simply - and even I didn't know this, but "Nose Candy" is slang for cocaine. The Pokémon Sweet team definitely dodged a bullet by not naming Candipass that 😂
Honestly, I really think sweet and sweet 2th could be improved by altering their type charts to be more varied, rather than just fruit flavors + vanilla and chocolate, when I had started coming up with ideas for types, I decided on sticking with flavoring, but making the flavors more distinct.
most of these sprites are huge improvements, especially chandelure and bearific. I dont like the Lopunny makeover though, I prefer the big dress of the original. I think the Mega Lopunny inspiration was the wrong choice, and maybe a more chocolate easter Bunny look or more elegant and puffy dress would have been better.
Even though Cupvees design is quite cute I still feel like it could be redesigned to be more resembled of what sweet its meant to be cause I'm confused of whether it's meant to be a Hot chocolate cup or a Cupcake

Popped up on my list of videos because of Lopunny. Your redesigns of the other mons were amazing, especially Mega Beartic. Anyways, the redesigned Chocobun gives off a more heroic princess vibes, like Princess Peach in Smash Bros or the movie, making it a more unique design choice from my perspective.

i was going to comment that giving rare candy away for free makes it less rare, then i realized since the world is made of candy, the specific candy that levels you up is probably still pretty rare comparatively :P

Its very unfortunate this game has diaper/baby/clown fetish pokemon in it and that becomes apparent when you look at the creator's deviantart 😭😭😭 me and my buddy were looking thru the pokedex for the game and we came across some very... odd trends when it came to the designs... and then we found the creator's deviantart...
PLEASE fix the overworld, the bright colors that don’t match bother my eyes so much and how the grass is still green, but everything else is that ugly hot pink.!
Honestly if you do anything please do a rebalance of the type chart maybe add a few types like sugar to take place of vanilla being the normal type carmal to act as a fairy type or something else just to make the chart less one note and more intertwined
I love the new lopunny design though I think that one ear is kinda too straight it needs to curve more to be rounder and bulkier to match the other ear. The rest of them all look amazing though 10/10 would play this rom!

the lopunny redesign is giving me mixed vibes, i like your new design more then the original but the silhouette is off and maybe a bit cramped chandelure is as always stealing the show in it's prefection
I like all of the changes except chocobun. The redesign doesn't really fit the description in the pokedex entry, and it looks even less sweet themed than before. I don't think resembling mega lopunny was a good call, as the legs look really thin and awkward. I think a full skirt like the original would work better- especially if the design is supposed to be "cotton candy" based. Parfelure, on the other hand, is absolutely perfect and captures everything the original was going for while turning it into a creature instead of a cup.

Mostly HexManiacAdvance, but Gen 3 Hacking Suite and Advance Map is pretty useful too! (Aseprite is for the actual sprites themselves too :D)
