Max is going to be a true legend. The Johan Cruijff of the F1, and there both Dutch.. He is going to win so much races you wouldnt believe.. F1 is a great sport and he is going to make it even greater like Shumacher did and Senna.

Well i dont think its luck because Merc screwed up. It was just stupidity from Mercedes. And the way he kept those both Ferrari's behind him was briljant i must say. For a boy of only 18 years old with much less experience than the two former world champions was priceless. He drove a briljant race. And Max is going to win so much in the near future. He will becoming the new world champion in just a couple of years. The guy wrote sports history.

You wouldn't even believe....
not being coached from the pit wall adds to his accomplishment. Having race craft skills such as letting Kimi push his new tires catching him and losing the tire performance once he caught up was fantastic! The result was Kimi didnt have the corner exit speed/grip to stay with max coming onto the straight and overtaking him. Good stuff for sure. Ive been Mercedes and Nico since the team started and did my share of losing so Im not expecting my team to let him win any more this season.

But he wouldn't have been a race winner if Lewis and Nico hadn't have crashed or if Ricciardo wasn't disadvantaged by what was clearly an inferior strategy found a track where you can't overtake.
+Thomas Parsley Be sure to remembrer that he kept ahead of Kimi, who was in a faster car. The kid did a marvellous job considering he was driving a car he's barely driven, out driving a few veterans. It's extremely commendable any way you put it.
ZBTEproductions I'm not saying he did a bad job I'm just saying he shouldn't really have won. Also keeping ahead of a car at barcelona really isn't too hard. Very difficult to overtake there.

Incredible, ACTUAL defensive driving from Max against Kimi. Honestly Kimi might be looking at his last season with Ferrari since he should have passed Max easily into the first corner.

+teamracing07 I see your point but Kimi has also won on this circuit as well as holding the race lap record. There's none of the passion he had during the 2005-2009 period, no attempt to try and pass unlike Ricciardo who kept on applying pressure to Seb until his tyre burst.

He would have risked a crash, just like last year with Bottas in Sochi, if he did try to go for the gap. And if he would have attacked like Ricciardo, he would have risked either going wide, blowing a tyre because of the highly degraded tires or crashing into Verstappen. He simply couldn't have done it better the way he handled his situation.

As for Kvyat, well this is the start of the end of his F1 career. Though to be fair, life also doesn't end with F1. He can venture outside of F1 and still land a decent racing seat in some other car racing sports. F1 is just not for him.

+Michael 64 No it's not :D Next year the aerodynamics will get a bigger part again with the new regulations and Adrian Newey is probably the best aero designer in the history of F1 so it's a possibility that Red Bull will compete for the championship again.

He get placed in the second quickest team, with the quickest team crashing out, now meaning that he is in the fastest car. Red Bull focus more on his strategy than Daniel's as they've got nothing to lose, with is really unfair given he's only been placed at Red Bull through luck and not much skill, compared to other drivers. His win didn't take any skill, compared to Vettel's first win, in the rain at Monza in a mid table car, not a race/championship winning team. Why is classed as such a good result, he was in the fastest car that weekend, so of course he going to win. When Maldonado won that was a real shock as the Williams had been rubbish for some time beforehand, however Red Bull's had been doing well prior to this race. This proves that with large amounts of money you can literary achieve anything, regardless of whether you deserve it.
You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. You clearly haven't seen the previous 23 races (before the Spanish GP). Max was extraordinary and Red Bull have all the data, so they must have seen that Max is quicker than Kvyat. He didn't make any mistakes throughout the race while driving the car for (only) the 5th time that weekend and he won. That's pretty remarkable
