Hey, thanks for the tuto I'm trying to follow it but I don't get the beginning : the lenght of the pants is 45cm (I want it to be longeur just above my knee) that you draw as the width on your fabrick but you don't say anything about the length, what does it correspond to, I mean you cut but don't say how long it is or is it the lenght of the pants and the 45cm is something else ? Sorry I'm lost and then you start drawing on it the front part of the pants so I don't get what the initial part correspond to. I will try to watch everything again, maybe I will get it.
OK I watch it again, I think I may get it, so in the all you draw a rectangle, where the width of it correspond to the lenght of your pants =45 and the length of this rectangle correspond to lenght of your hips plus 20cm =68, is that right ? It's because what you say and the image are not really in sync and the first part of this tuto with when you do the rectangle because it's part of it,anyway thanks 😊
You will need to cut the rectangle with the width is 1/2 your hip size + 22cm (or more if you want the pant is bigger) and the length is the length of the pants your want which mean it's the length from your belly button to above your knee.
Hi Amal, I'm good. Hope you're good too. Which elastic did you mean? If for the waist, it's the size of your waist. If for the wrist, it should be a little bigger than your wrist around 3cm
Hi Jess, You have a real talent for refashioning and alterations. I wondering if you'd like to participate in Season Five of Refashion Runway. It's a friendly sewing competition that I host on my blog, The Renegade Seamstress. This season I'm bringing it to RUclips as well. Much like Project Runway and The Great British Sewing Bee, we’ll choose eight refashion seamstresses (or seamsters) to compete in weekly challenges. The contestants will send in before and after videos or photos. The refashions will then be scored by judges and open to a popular vote. The scores will be combined to find a weekly winner and one competitor will be out (not without a prize for participating though). At the end of the series, whoever is left will not only receive a nice prize but will be crowned the winner of Refashion Runway Season Five!!
