I didn't even know until you mentioned his name in the comments section last month.. I've had this whole show on vhs for over 20 some years and always wondered who the dummer man was. One of my idols along with Chris Columbo and Panama Francis. Paul was the MAN among band leaders and musicians.

Paul Williams is in the checkered jacket on baritone sax. Eddie Silvers - tenor sax, Jimmy Brown - trumpet, Belton Evans - drums.

Great Tap Dancing and Great Paul Williams Orchestra. Swinging. Also take this in mind. Worlds Greatest Drummer the late Mr. Buddy Rich was a very respected tap dancer. Like the talent of Little Buck Buckner Buddy Rich incorporated his tap dancing talents to a set of drums. When you utilize all four limbs hands and feet you produce rhythm and drumming like there is no tomorrow. enough said.

Belton "sticks" Evans was one of New York's finest session and live drummers. Dion raved about him and his drumming on the Wanderer and for good reason. One of the pioneers of rock and roll and rhythm and blues drumming. Paul Williams always had an outstanding band.
