I've owned my 5.0 HP (Honda engine) Little Wonder for 21 years now and have never had a problem with it. It requires minimal maintenance and is always dependable. I own 4 acres of property with only about one acre cleared. So I get tons of leaves on my property to clean-up. I started-out with a backpack blower, but it doesn't do as well as this walk-behind blower. One of the best purchases I ever made!
Tighten the bolt on the lever that goes into the handle on little wonder. I had the same problem last year and was adjusting the angle by using the know on the bottom. Once you get both just tight enough the lever will work right.
Jeffrey Stoesser You’re welcome. I would recommend getting the 13hp or even the 18hp if you’re dealing with larger properties like these. I like the Little Wonder, my dad likes the Billy Goat, so I would recommend trying both out if you are looking to pick one up. I would not consider any other brands.
@@CalebsPropertyMaintenance Thank you very much ! I am just starting out, however my first job that I have lined up is 3 acres with a couple of five acre properties that want to see how my first customer likes my work..... I'll let you know how it goes.
Appreciate this video. How hard is it to push up a 25% incline? I have a lower field and an upper field with a steep incline between the two. Do I need a self propelled model that costs about $1000 more? Thank you.
@@CalebsPropertyMaintenance Thank you! I am also looking at a Skihl BR 800 with has a CFM of 950, which is almost equal to the push and self-propelled leaf blowers which have about 1000 CFM. They are more maneuverable and almost have the same power and only weigh 23 lbs. It would seem that would be better on that incline.
So the handle on the little wonder has a bolt and nut at in the middle of it simply tighten that a bit more and loosen the one down at the shoot and it will not flip up on it's own
Caleb's Property Maintenance gotcha. I’m looking at the billy 10 hp vanguard and 13 hp Honda both self propelled. I wish billy goat published their cfm
Caleb's Property Maintenance that’s what I’m thinking too. More power the better. Would hate to get the 10 hp and wish I had gotten the 13. I love vanguards run the 37 efi vanguard on my cheetah. But small engines it’s awfully hard to beat a Honda.
I have a 9 HP Honda Little Wonder Blower and it had a wicked vibration at wide open throttle. Every time I change the engine oil and I'm using Mobil 1 oil the oil had a metallic look to it and thats not a good thing. The factory impeller was so far out of balance causing the problem. I purchased a billy goat impeller and spaced the engine further back on my blower because of the difference in impeller depths so it cleared the front of the housing. Problem fixed no more vibration and virtually no metal fillings n the oil.
All blowers have great engines but key to making them live a long time is good engine oil. Mobil1 synthetic oil 4T 10/40W or the V-Twin 20/50W. The impeller in the Little Wonder blower tend to be off balance from what I've seen I installed Billy Goat composite impeller in my Little Wonder and run much smoother.
i had 3 little wonder giant vac and billy goat i say for heavey fall cleanups little wonder normal residential billy goat giat vac was good but worn the pan bushing out to fast to heavey a impeller
See already both blowers can't blow a straight line.because all blowers only blow on 1 side!! and not 3 !!! Leaf blowers need a front blower and both sides!! Not only one side!!! That really sucks you can't choose to blow from one or the other and can't blow from the front of them!! I didn't say all at the same either. Should be able to choose front ,left side,or right side to have the blower, blow leaves!!
The little wonder can blow from the front. There is a a spring handle thingy you move and it opens the front. You can only blow from the front or the side at one time, not both at same time. The billy got comes with an attachment to shoot forward, but I have no experience with how it works.
This is a fun video, but what I like here is everyone wearing ear protection. Take this advise from an old man like me, protect your ears. Just like protecting your eyes, they can’t fix em.

Which models did you run ? I think they each have at least a couple of different models....
Thanks !
Jeffrey Stoesser Not sure of the exact model numbers but they are the 9hp of each.

The Honda motor on the little wonders are bullet proof. I have the 13hp and it has never missed a beat.
Great job
I also like Little Wonder.
Had one for 8 years
Starts first pull always.
Hi, I'm new to these machines, can you please explain what you mean by "use it as prop", thanks, I appreciate the video.
Like set it somewhere in the yard and blow with another blower into the stationary blower’s air stream.

Sam S Yes, I would get the self propelled option, especially if you are looking at bigger than 9hp.

@@CalebsPropertyMaintenance Thank you again, I appreciate the input and advice!
If you have a walker its much faster to sot down and push and pull probably 10 mins to complete that yard
I know, that’s why I am going to get one.
I've always used little wonder.
Jim B I’ve always use Billy Goat 😂 I really do like Little Wonder though.

What are the model specifics here? Which ones are these
jew0182 These are the 9hp models of each.

New sub here.. Good video. I have the LW and was interested in the comparison between them.
Thanks for subscribing.
Have you tried the either on wet leaves?
MrWhoevr Yes, the Little Wonder does a lot better.
Thanks. I’m going to rent one and your video was very useful helping me decide it would be worth it.
MrWhoevr It’s definitely worth it! Let me know how you like it.
i may have missed it but how many HP is the little wonder?
9, just like the Billy Goat.
What horsepower are each of those?
9
Little Wonder all the way...no question! Billy Goat has plastic housing and impeller which crack.

Billy goat with the Honda motor.
Imagine the 14 Billy goat or my personal favorite 18hp 5" tube opening.
I want the scag extreme with the 8.5hp honda
I use to be scared when i was 3
Well good thing you’re not 3 anymore.
We have the billy goat at our house. Great video
Sweet!
Lol blazing and blowing leafs 😂😂
I like the billy goat because the wheels are better for pushing on grass
That is true.
My billy goat has Honda engine.. Billy goat directional nozzle annihilates small wonder..
Billy Goat is king for me...
God be with you.peace
Honda engine will outlive a briggs engine. For that reason little wonder.

Aaron Price Thank you.
What do you mean you use it as a prop?!
sirjustis Park it in a spot and use the air stream to help move the pile while you blow leaves with a backpack into the air stream.
Ahhh! Very smart :)

No
Pricing?
Not sure and not sure. I wish I had those figures but I don’t.
Landworks is only $399 and blows 200mph!
Check the CFM. That’s what really matters more than the MPH when blowing leaves.
Fact: the 13 horse Billy goat is more powerful than the 14 horse little wonderer
Peter daley How’s that?
Because the Billy goat is lighter than the little wonderer and the little wonderer is a two man lift
Billy goat is made of plastic ( broke Billy Goat ( 2 ) twice )
Gentle, not so rough.
