  • In this response to the first webinar in the USFS's SCIENCEx webinar series, the John Muir Project and collaborators critically examine the narrative presented on "Fuels Management in Dry, Frequent Fire Conifer Forests."
With limited perspectives and the dismissal of questions challenging the dominant narrative, we highlight the importance of providing the public with a fuller, science-backed understanding of forest fire "management". Tune in for a deeper dive into the realities that the Forest Service doesn't address.
    Speakers:
    1. Dr. Chad Hanson, PhD, Principal Ecologist of the John Muir Project
    2. Sam Hitt, Founder of WildEarth Guardians (1989) and President of the Santa Fe Forest Coalition
    3. Paula Hood, MS, Co-Director of Blue Mountains Biodiversity Project

Thanks for experts willing to challenge the Forest Service gospel, which is climate malpractice, public health malpractice, forest management malpractice, and economic malpractice.
