Looks to me that: Dwarven Stability (an enchantment subject to stripping) is there to keep up... Serpent's Quickness (a stance that could be removed), which is there to keep up.... Marksman's Wager, which is there to finance the spamming of... Penetrating and Sundering Attack. Blind, Miss and/or Blocking reverse the energy gain from Marksman's Wager. My revised build would be: Asuran Scan (to counter blind, miss and blocks) "I Am the Strongest!" Serpent's Quickness Marksman's Wager Penetrating Attack Sundering Attack Crossfire (5e generic, 4s recharge) or Body Shot (if party is inflicting cracked armor) Expert Focus (backup preparation)
Hi @tarheel7406 how are you doing? it's good to see you here 🙂👋🏻 Thank you for your feedback! Tho I wouldn't be too concerned about d.stab getting stripped as it's there only to double the duration of serpent's quickness. You don't have to keep it up as long as you can hit it right before you activate serpent's. Speaking of which, it is safe to say that stance removal is very rare in pve, which is why a lot of builds rely on em. Actually only a handful of skills can actually end stances so you can reliably use serpent's as long as you watch your health. ✌🏻 As for its function I have to say that it's not there to just keep M. Wager up, no. By slashing all skill cooldowns by 1/3 it makes the 3 bow attacks into a chain which is something that wouldn't be possible without serpent's. YMLAD is there to complement the damage, kd and cripple the target, and is only worthwhile becuz of - again - serpent's. Lastly, while I have to admit that Asuran Scan would have been a fantastic addition to this bar if it wasn't for the lack of a 9th skill slot, I guess I'm just gonna rely on other party members to remove blind/miss/block type of stuff for this one build. But if you insist on havin Asuran Scan I would personally suggest dropping YMLAD for it. That said, this is what I really like about GW. You can never have that ultimate build/s that has it all. There's always a shortcoming or a counter to everythin. 🙂👍🏻 (sorry for long post and bad Eng. Try to read for gist hehe🙂)
@@KrythsGWStuff Just to help clarify, I try for builds like this that aren't too reliant on timing or any single skill. A build that an attentive casual player can easily use in the heat of battle playing in hard mode. Something that even I am unlikely to f'up. a) When I tested sans Dwarven Stability, I had no real issues. That frees space for Asuran Scan and removes a risk of negative effects from an opposing enchantment counter. b) I agree that stances are far safer than enchantments, but still a risk. c) Penetrating/Sundering Attack already have short 4s recharges, so any buff from Serpent's is immaterial in my view. d) While you wait for the party to remove blind, etc., you are losing 10e per miss. I prefer player builds to be mostly self-sufficient. During my short testing, I was able to finance Asuran Scan on the target while reactivating Serpent's/Markman's on recharge while spamming the 3 attack skills. When Markman's dropped prior to recharge, I would sub in Expert Focus during the wait. Your English will always be better than my other than.
Very fast damage! 😮
