In a sense, Ryze could be considered the "Protagonist" in Runeterra. He basically goes all around the world so it makes sense for him to be that type of character, related to every region because of his purpose to find and store safely every World Rune to avoid them falling on the wrong hands.

This theory has one serious assumption. Rise, who strives to prevent the use of world runes, for some reason gave someone something related to runes... Still, he is one of those who will do his best to restrain the spread of such skills and knowledge.
Good pickup with the mages being what Heimerdinger is afraid of. However Ryze is the main person fighting to prevent the magic calamity that happened before from happening again. He's the ultimate good guy
The giant trees where Ryze was are in Demacia, which Demacia uses to build all of its structures. The trees have magic nullifying properties, so Ryze is keeping those powerful artifacts (world runes maybe) in their roots to suppress their massive power.
With Sylas introduction, we now know petricite don't nullify magic, it stores magic, so we might have in the future an event where all the magic stored from the runes might go horribly wrong

I don't know if you remember but in a video we talked about petricite (material used by demacia for his buildings and armor), this material has the ability to absorb magic. So Ryze uses it to contain the power of the runes. In that forest everything is made of petricite (which is white in color).
Thinking of it now, I believe part of why Yone feels so guilty about how Yasuo turmed out is also that he was never able to become a better swordsman than him, which would have made the responsability of protecting Elder Souma his, and so Yasuo would be free to go fight the war.
There is a lot of lore explored in the cinematic with the brother's but here is enough to have an understanding of their story: Yasuo and his master Souma are users of the wind technique. Yasuo was ordered to stay and guard Souma during the war between Noxus and Ionia but when the rest of the students went to check up on them, souma had been killed by a wind technique and yasuo was gone. This implicates yasuo in his master's death. The students of souma can be a little zealous and so they form an angy mob that are bent on hunting down and killing yasuo. Yone finds yasuo first, yasuo attacks because he assumes his brother isnt there to ask questions, but to kill him. You can argue yasuo is a bit intemperate here, he should try and talk it out but he feels betrayed because he cant believe his brother is part of the hunt for him. Yone feels betrayed because why is yasuo attacking him and running away from the school if he isnt guilty? its a whole big misunderstanding that forces them into the battle where they both believe the other has fully turned against them. The old man is secretly a demon that feeds off yas's guilt. Yas is going to a spirit blossom festival in hopes to commune with the dead, likely to ask forgiveness from his brother.
One of the most important facts to understand Yone and Yasuo's fight is that during the war with Noxus Yasuo's task was to protect his master, elder Souma, but he decided not to do it and fight in the battle. During the battle Souma was killed in a very particular way (wind technique was used) which led Yasuo to be responsible for his death since he was the only one who knew this technique apart from Souma. So Yasuo decided to run away. On the run he was found by Yone and this is where the battle occurs in which Yasuo kills Yone. Small spoiler the person who kills Soumma is called riven and is a former slave of noxus who ended up in the ranks of the army after demonstrating his fighting skills. I make the spoiler since there is no cinematic of her story.

So, rewatching that Ryze cinematic revealed to me Arcane makes even more sense. Let me explain: In the last shot, in the room with all the runes Ryze has gathered there are Domination (red), Precision (yellow), Resolve (green), Sorcery (purple) and one's missing --> the INSPIRATION rune (light blue with gold details), so it is teased that hehas not yet found it. Now fast forward to Arcane and you can see that before they made the hexcore work, Jayse had carved the first four runes but there was a gap on the hexcore; inspiration was missing, that's why it didn't work. How did they figured that out? They didn't! Sky accidentally did; in her last scene she is seen walking holding a light blue notebook with gold details, and her last words is "Viktor, you inspire me"!!! Her sacrifice, th sacrifice of an inspired person, made the hexcore work, unbeknownst to Jayce nor Viktor! The thing that clicked in me while watching this video is that Ryze didn't use, and by not doing so, didn't indirectly TEACH Jayce the fifth rune😮🤯 (PS: sorry for my bad English, in Greek, not native English speaker)

I can see how lost they are in lore, if I told you that it took me almost a year to know all the history and geography of this world, the bad thing is that I haven't played it in a long time, and since it is updated all the time, well I'm already very outdated
Yone died and became a hunter of the "Azakana" which are sort of parasitic minor demons, they hone in on a spirit's fear or shortcoming and absorb the negative emotions until they kill the host, then they grow up into proper demons. These days they are all around Ionia because after the Noxian invation the land has been consumed by war and negativity, the dead are not being properly buried and the azakana can reach them easily so the entire continent became a place for the Azakana to grow.
So, About Yone and Yasuo.. There was a great war when the former king of Noxus tryed to Invade Ionia. It was really F Up (and I wont enter in too much detail cus Singed is involved with it, if they don't change the official lore). Essencially Yasuo was arguing with Yone cus he wanted to fight in the war, but he had a duty with their swordmanship school. What happens is that Yasuo joins the resistance in a crucial moment and helps them to win the war, but at that moment a character called Riven, a Noxus soldier, end up meeting Elder Suma and he dies. So everyone blames Yasuo, who became a Ronin on the run. In other videos we have this recurrent theme of him "running" like the wind and being chased. We also have a lot os stuff about the Noxus-Ionia war. About the thing that Heimer remembers is the rune wars, where the world almost ended. Ryze just try to keep all the runes safe so it can't happen again. Actually the game real "lore" is that a way for mages to deal with their fights without almost ending the world again is to summon the very legends of their world (league of legends) to fight each other. Sometimes it seens like they just conjure "shadows" of this legends, other times they hint that they are really this great beings that fight each other in a phantom reality.
By the way the second cinematic is a direct prequel to a seperate game made by riot called Ruined King , it's a turn based rpg and it's amazing , highly recommend trying it out or at least watching it's trailer as well :P
I don't believe that ryze is the arcane wizard, ryze has so much mana flowing through his body that his skin is blue he doesn't need a stone to use magic. He has a powerful book of spells, in addition to the parchment he carries on his back.

Seeing the character trailers it reminds me of Overwatch, but League does it better. Of knowing how to tell the story loosely and somehow connecting it to the greater world that seems natural and get people hype up about these characters from where they are coming from and use their powers. Plus actually having a story then Overwatch only relies on their sales and micro transactions. Is why people praise about Overwatch shorts still, that are still great to this day and can compare to these shorts to leagues for introduction for their characters.
Let me give you the short version of how I understand Ionia is their continent and it was at war, Yasuo being a pupil of the Wind sword, the only pupil and the best one, was tasked to guard his master while the others joined the war. When you watch the flashbacks you hear Yasuo saying "I should be out there protecting her(Ionia)". Yasuo joined the war and when he returned the master was murdered with signs of the Wind technique as a weapon so they accused Yasuo killing the master to join the war, that is why in the end when Yasuo killed Yone, he said "I'm no murderer". No one believed Yasuo including his brother and somehow Yone found him but failed and got killed by Yasuo. That is why Yasuo is called "The Unforgiven"
Ryze is hunting World Runes.. the things that made the planet itself. Heimerdinger and Ryze were alive for the end of what was called the Rune Wars.. when countries used them to push the world almost to destruction. On the map you can see a giant crater next to Noxus, that was caused by a World Rune. Ryze is hunting them down to store them in the Petracite Forest in Demacia. A heavily anti-magic zone. Side note: the World Runes being left outside the safe confines that Ryze has them in has led to dozens of races and magics scattered all over Runeterra.
What happens in Ryze cinematic was not the thing Heimerdinger was afraid of. That happened during Rune Wars which happened ~700 years before Heimer was born.
I hate the theory that Ryze is the mage in Arcane. One youtuber makes a prediction video and everyone just takes it for gospel. Arcane has been very good at hinting and not leaving things at baseless speculation. If riot wanted Ryze to be in arcane we would know.

Ryze is collecting world runes. Theyre basically Runeterras Infinity Stones, used to create the world. Ryze had a student once, Brand. Brand betrayed Ryze and tried to take the power of a world rune which resulted in him fusing with it. Look him up.

Yasuo supposed to protect the master but Yas left the master alone where master met Riven and Riven's blade exploded when master souma tried to do something. Its like having the murder weapon be a gun but there is only one person who can use it at all. The demons in both Yasuo's and Yone's cinematic are called azakana. They are low-mid level demons that feed off the negative emotions of people. Yone's demon was feeding off his regret of not doing better for Yasuo's sake. If he were better than Yasuo, the responsibility of guarding their master would not go to Yasuo. Yone ended up defeating his demon after dying but ended up fusing with it. Now he hunts azakana, such as Yasuo's in his cinematic. Also, the reason why I say azakana is low-mid level is because the game has other demons that are much stronger than azakana. The best example is Fiddlesticks, a primordial demon and the demon of fear. There are 10 primordial demons in the lore and Fiddlesticks is the first, oldest and most powerful demon, who was also created when the universe was. Basically, he is the strongest champion lorewise but that is up for debate.
As per comparison Ryze cinematic with Lord of the Rings, its not actually that alike and more like Marvel Comics lore. Ryze search for ancient sorces of power called the Wrold Runes (analogy to Infinity Stones), to seal them and stop catastrophies like u see in his past there (when all world is on fire) from happening. Thats a past event when people used those runes for war and therefore called Rune Wars. Heimerdinger btw was around that time so he also saw it and know what he is talking about when he warned Jayce. Also, btw, apart from all recommened videos, if u want to know lore, i advice to watch Necrits videos World of Riot MMO is Done and Complete Lore of Runeterra so far (last one is a bit outdated since lore is updating and evolving with a game but still provide alot of good info).

Yasuo killed his brother because their master was killed by wind magic. Yasuo was supposed to be his bodyguard, the only people who knew how to use wind magic were Yasuo and his master back at the school they were at. Everyone else was sent to fight in the war. So obviously everyone thought it was Yasuo who killed him, but later we found out that a woman with the name Riven came to him for help. The master tried to help her with her rune sword, when he used his wind magic on it the blade exploded and killed him. Yone was resurrected by a demon taking over his body, after he defeated the demon he came back to life. He realized how bad Ionia got after the Noxian invasion, so many dead people and horrible emotions led to demons investing the land. Yone's mission is now to capture all those demons in masks to cleanse Ionia, however it's not 100% certain if he will remain alive after completing his mission because he is simply fighting for control over his body with the demon he defeated after he died.
Yasuo was suppose to protect the masters, yone found all the masters dead so he thought that yasuo killed them all (he didnt) so he started chasing yasuo to make him pay for what he did, thats why they where fighting, yone asked him why he was running if he didnt killed them, but yasuo felt dishonorable and knew that people wouldnt believe them , so thats why he was running.
in Ryze Cinematic the one rune that is missing is called in game Inspiration and the 2 mini runes inside that tree have in common with hextech one is first strike but only by the looks it looks like bullet from Caitlyn sniper rifle from s2 trailer and there is a hextech flashportation which is like a delayed flash from the game its a skill you can use in game when u used ur main falsh and it has 56 min cooldown on it

When you look at Ryze's ultimate ability. It allows him to teleport himself and team members from one location to another. The Arcane mage basically does the same thing. So yeah it is very likely him. :D

And even if we doesn't need the stones to teleport, there is no reason why he couldn't just use the power of the stone to inspire Jayce. Ryze is a human? Or he might be another race I haven't heard of but. But his skin color changing could be because he uses magic to disguise himself. I wont buy your argumentation simply because you say so. So again. You can argue yasuo is a bit intemperate here, he should try and talk it out but he feels betrayed because he cant believe his brother is part of the hunt for him. Yone feels betrayed because why is yasuo attacking him and running away from the school if he isnt guilty? its a whole big misunderstanding that forces them into the battle where they both believe the other has fully turned against them. The old man is secretly a demon that feeds off yas's guilt. Yas is going to a spirit blossom festival in hopes to commune with the dead, likely to ask forgiveness from his brother.

One of the most important facts to understand Yone and Yasuo's fight is that during the war with Noxus Yasuo's task was to protect his master, elder Souma, but he decided not to do it and fight in the battle. During the battle Souma was killed in a very particular way (wind technique was used) which led Yasuo to be responsible for his death since he was the only one who knew this technique apart from Souma. So Yasuo decided to run away. On the run he was found by Yone and this is where the battle occurs in which Yasuo kills Yone.
Small spoiler the person who kills Soumma is called riven and is a former slave of noxus who ended up in the ranks of the army after demonstrating his fighting skills. I make the spoiler since there is no cinematic of her story.

Yone biography from Universe League of Legends
In life, Yone adhered to a strict code of honor and duty. Even as a child, his love for his family led him to assume the mantle of protector, motivated in no small way by the loss of his father. This was in stark contrast to his half-brother, Yasuo, who was brash and reckless where Yone was patient and disciplined.
Still, the two were inseparable-and when Yone began his studies at the renowned sword school near their village, Yasuo followed.
As they trained, Yone was often forced to temper his younger brother’s impulsiveness. However, when Yasuo refused the personal tutelage of Elder Souma, master of the legendary wind technique, Yone gifted him a maple seed-a symbol of humility-as a sign of his support and encouragement.
Yone was proud of his brother, but he had doubts about the wise master’s judgment, fearing that Yasuo’s impulsive nature would make him a poor student. But Elder Souma was well respected, and did not make careless decisions.
Putting his concerns aside, Yone continued to practice with dual blades, his prowess quickly earning the respect and admiration of his fellow disciples. Though Yone’s skill was unmatched, Yasuo’s use of the wind technique made their sparring sessions a sight to behold, and a joy to the brothers themselves.
But that joy did not last long. War came to Ionia.
Yone, along with many other disciples, left to defend against the approaching Noxian forces while Yasuo reluctantly stayed behind to protect his master. But one fateful night, Elder Souma was discovered dead-slain by the very wind technique that he taught.
When Yone returned, he found that Yasuo had fled.
This shook Yone to his core. His fears were proven true-Elder Souma had been wrong.
Yone blamed himself. If Yasuo had murdered Souma, Yone had failed to teach him the righteous path. If Yasuo had simply abandoned his post and allowed his master to die, then Yone had failed to instill him with discipline. Either way, Yasuo had already killed several of those who pursued him-and to Yone, their blood stained his own hands as much as his brother’s.
He tracked Yasuo down. When their swords finally crossed, Yone’s steel was unmatched… but Yasuo’s mastery of the wind cut his brother down.
Death, however, was not the end. When Yone awoke within the spirit realm, the weight of his failure crushed him. His fury flared, and he pounded his fists on the ground in rage.
A rumbling laugh pierced his thoughts. He turned, and beheld a monstrous, humanoid spirit with a blood-red blade. It was a powerful azakana, a predatory entity that had long stalked Yone from beyond the veil.
Before Yone could speak, it struck.
He drew the spiritual echoes of his blades to his side just in time to block the attack. He once again found himself in a duel where his swordsmanship was unparalleled, but he was overwhelmed by magic.
Anger consumed him. A lifetime of honor and duty snapped. In one furious moment, Yone wrested the azakana’s blade from it and ran the creature through.
The last thing he heard before a new darkness took him was that same rumbling laughter…
As he came to, Yone found himself back in the material realm, though it was a grim shadow of what it had been. He struggled to his feet, the spirit realm hazy in his mind, and a blood-red sword in his hand. Upon his head, a mask had coalesced in the form of the azakana’s face-he could not remove it, but he could now see other azakana through its eyes. They were not yet true demons, content to feed on negativity before eventually manifesting to devour their hosts. But, as Yone would discover, if an azakana’s name was learned, they could be reduced to inert masks of personified emotion.
Even so, he could not tell if-or when-the azakana he wore would reawaken to consume him. In life, Yone had worn the mask of protector, brother, and disciple for so long that it had become his identity. But now, in moments of stillness, he swears he can feel the mask shifting upon his face, his own past and unresolved conflict with Yasuo now paling in comparison to this new threat.
Yone hunts these insidious creatures in an attempt to understand what he has become-with each name bringing him a step closer to uncovering that of the one whose laughter still haunts him.
Nothing else matters. There is only the chase of truth.

So, rewatching that Ryze cinematic revealed to me Arcane makes even more sense. Let me explain: In the last shot, in the room with all the runes Ryze has gathered there are Domination (red), Precision (yellow), Resolve (green), Sorcery (purple) and one's missing --> the INSPIRATION rune (light blue with gold details), so it is teased that hehas not yet found it. Now fast forward to Arcane and you can see that before they made the hexcore work, Jayse had carved the first four runes but there was a gap on the hexcore; inspiration was missing, that's why it didn't work. How did they figured that out? They didn't! Sky accidentally did; in her last scene she is seen walking holding a light blue notebook with gold details, and her last words is "Viktor, you inspire me"!!! Her sacrifice, th sacrifice of an inspired person, made the hexcore work, unbeknownst to Jayce nor Viktor!
The thing that clicked in me while watching this video is that Ryze didn't use, and by not doing so, didn't indirectly TEACH Jayce the fifth rune😮🤯

When you look at the array of runes at the end, notice that one is missing. It could be the blue rune which is hextech or the one who powers hextech.
Hope Netflix Arcane will tackle abt the other Runes... Like the runes in Arcane is the blue one... There's a lot of rune type and i wish we explore the World of Runeterra with those Arcane magic or Stones

Yone died and became a hunter of the "Azakana" which are sort of parasitic minor demons, they hone in on a spirit's fear or shortcoming and absorb the negative emotions until they kill the host, then they grow up into proper demons. These days they are all around Ionia because after the Noxian invation the land has been consumed by war and negativity, the dead are not being properly buried and the azakana can reach them easily so the entire continent became a place for the Azakana to grow.
So, About Yone and Yasuo.. There was a great war when the former king of Noxus tryed to Invade Ionia. It was really F Up (and I wont enter in too much detail cus Singed is involved with it, if they don't change the official lore). Essencially Yasuo was arguing with Yone cus he wanted to fight in the war, but he had a duty with their swordmanship school. What happens is that Yasuo joins the resistance in a crucial moment and helps them to win the war, but at that moment a character called Riven, a Noxus soldier, end up meeting Elder Suma and he dies. So everyone blames Yasuo, who became a Ronin on the run. In other videos we have this recurrent theme of him "running" like the wind and being chased. We also have a lot os stuff about the Noxus-Ionia war.
About the thing that Heimer remembers is the rune wars, where the world almost ended. Ryze just try to keep all the runes safe so it can't happen again. Actually the game real "lore" is that a way for mages to deal with their fights without almost ending the world again is to summon the very legends of their world (league of legends) to fight each other. Sometimes it seens like they just conjure "shadows" of this legends, other times they hint that they are really this great beings that fight each other in a phantom reality.
By the way the second cinematic is a direct prequel to a seperate game made by riot called Ruined King , it's a turn based rpg and it's amazing , highly recommend trying it out or at least watching it's trailer as well :P

I don't believe that ryze is the arcane wizard, ryze has so much mana flowing through his body that his skin is blue he doesn't need a stone to use magic. He has a powerful book of spells, in addition to the parchment he carries on his back.

Seeing the character trailers it reminds me of Overwatch, but League does it better. Of knowing how to tell the story loosely and somehow connecting it to the greater world that seems natural and get people hype up about these characters from where they are coming from and use their powers. Plus actually having a story then Overwatch only relies on their sales and micro transactions. Is why people praise about Overwatch shorts still, that are still great to this day and can compare to these shorts to leagues for introduction for their characters.
Let me give you the short version of how I understand
Ionia is their continent and it was at war, Yasuo being a pupil of the Wind sword, the only pupil and the best one, was tasked to guard his master while the others joined the war. When you watch the flashbacks you hear Yasuo saying "I should be out there protecting her(Ionia)". Yasuo joined the war and when he returned the master was murdered with signs of the Wind technique as a weapon so they accused Yasuo killing the master to join the war, that is why in the end when Yasuo killed Yone, he said "I'm no murderer". No one believed Yasuo including his brother and somehow Yone found him but failed and got killed by Yasuo. That is why Yasuo is called "The Unforgiven"
Ryze is hunting World Runes.. the things that made the planet itself. Heimerdinger and Ryze were alive for the end of what was called the Rune Wars.. when countries used them to push the world almost to destruction. On the map you can see a giant crater next to Noxus, that was caused by a World Rune. Ryze is hunting them down to store them in the Petracite Forest in Demacia. A heavily anti-magic zone. Side note: the World Runes being left outside the safe confines that Ryze has them in has led to dozens of races and magics scattered all over Runeterra.

What happens in Ryze cinematic was not the thing Heimerdinger was afraid of. That happened during Rune Wars which happened ~700 years before Heimer was born.
The woman with two guns is actually Miss Fortune's mom who was killed by Gangplank if I'm not mistaken.
I hate the theory that Ryze is the mage in Arcane. One youtuber makes a prediction video and everyone just takes it for gospel. Arcane has been very good at hinting and not leaving things at baseless speculation. If riot wanted Ryze to be in arcane we would know.

Ryze had a student once, Brand. Brand betrayed Ryze and tried to take the power of a world rune which resulted in him fusing with it. Look him up.

Yasuo and Yone fought because their master died. Yasuo supposed to protect the master but Yas left the master alone where master met Riven and Riven's blade exploded when master souma tried to do something.
On Ryze, it was on the forest in the middle of Demacia and those trees are petricides that absorbs magic. Ryze fought that void creature (Vel'koz), went to freljord and see trundle the troll king with iceborn weapon club. on the desert, that's Nasus fighting a construct.
As for why Yasuo and Yone fought, since Yasuo is the better swordsman of the two and learnt the wind technique, Yasuo was made to guard their master and was not allowed to fight Noxus, which was invading Ionia at that moment. Their master was killed with a wind technique and Yasuo is the only person other than the master to know it. In addition, he was also missing when their master was killed. This led the other students to believe, as well as Yone, that Yasuo killed the master and fled so they were chasing after him. Yone caught up to him first and they fought, which led to Yasuo killing Yone. I should add that Yasuo did not kill the master, despite overwhelming evidence. Its like having the murder weapon be a gun but there is only one person who can use it at all.
The demons in both Yasuo's and Yone's cinematic are called azakana. They are low-mid level demons that feed off the negative emotions of people. Yone's demon was feeding off his regret of not doing better for Yasuo's sake. If he were better than Yasuo, the responsibility of guarding their master would not go to Yasuo. Yone ended up defeating his demon after dying but ended up fusing with it. Now he hunts azakana, such as Yasuo's in his cinematic.
Also, the reason why I say azakana is low-mid level is because the game has other demons that are much stronger than azakana. The best example is Fiddlesticks, a primordial demon and the demon of fear. There are 10 primordial demons in the lore and Fiddlesticks is the first, oldest and most powerful demon, who was also created when the universe was. Basically, he is the strongest champion lorewise but that is up for debate.

As per comparison Ryze cinematic with Lord of the Rings, its not actually that alike and more like Marvel Comics lore. Ryze search for ancient sorces of power called the Wrold Runes (analogy to Infinity Stones), to seal them and stop catastrophies like u see in his past there (when all world is on fire) from happening. Thats a past event when people used those runes for war and therefore called Rune Wars. Heimerdinger btw was around that time so he also saw it and know what he is talking about when he warned Jayce.
Also, btw, apart from all recommened videos, if u want to know lore, i advice to watch Necrits videos World of Riot MMO is Done and Complete Lore of Runeterra so far (last one is a bit outdated since lore is updating and evolving with a game but still provide alot of good info).

I always love when people start getting into League lore/cinematics & so on after watching Arcane. Cause although the MOBA game of League is extremelyyyy toxic, the lore is fuckin' insane & SO damn fun to explore. Especially since everything is canon now, including Arcane. Yasuo killed his brother because their master was killed by wind magic. Yasuo was supposed to be his bodyguard, the only people who knew how to use wind magic were Yasuo and his master back at the school they were at. Everyone else was sent to fight in the war. So obviously everyone thought it was Yasuo who killed him, but later we found out that a woman with the name Riven came to him for help. The master tried to help her with her rune sword, when he used his wind magic on it the blade exploded and killed him.
Yone was resurrected by a demon taking over his body, after he defeated the demon he came back to life. He realized how bad Ionia got after the Noxian invasion, so many dead people and horrible emotions led to demons investing the land. Yone's mission is now to capture all those demons in masks to cleanse Ionia, however it's not 100% certain if he will remain alive after completing his mission because he is simply fighting for control over his body with the demon he defeated after he died.
Yasuo was suppose to protect the masters, yone found all the masters dead so he thought that yasuo killed them all (he didnt) so he started chasing yasuo to make him pay for what he did, thats why they where fighting, yone asked him why he was running if he didnt killed them, but yasuo felt dishonorable and knew that people wouldnt believe them , so thats why he was running.

in Ryze Cinematic the one rune that is missing is called in game Inspiration and the 2 mini runes inside that tree have in common with hextech one is first strike but only by the looks it looks like bullet from Caitlyn sniper rifle from s2 trailer and there is a hextech flashportation which is like a delayed flash from the game its a skill you can use in game when u used ur main falsh and it has 56 min cooldown on it

It will give you a good idea of the League of Legends lore and maybe help you understand what's happening in the cinematics a bit more. Like the flash back with Ryze you were talking about in red. @@Shythalia Arcane already retconned parts of the league lore as it was. Hex crystals are no longer from Skarners race as an example. I wouldn't be surprised if they did something with Ryze's lore.

Ryze is a human? Or he might be another race I haven't heard of but. But his skin color changing could be because he uses magic to disguise himself.
