Your artworks was one of the main reasons why I was inspired to experiment on shadows and to enhance my own style in creating characters. I'm so glad to have come across your RUclips channel! I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you for the tutorials that you are posting. You're amazing! I look forward to watching more of your videos

Ira, since I began experimenting with water-colour and trying to find my own style, you have been the artist that I look up to the most. Your art is absolutely incredible and I often come here looking for guidance and inspiration.
I think you are so sweet, kind and so generous for sharing with strangers your knowledge. I simply can't believe someone doesn't like it when you speak in your videos, and I hope they are not mean to you. Please keep educating and inspiring us. I hope your talent takes you to infinity, and beyond.

Okay I LOVE when you do the cheeks!! Never thought to add a little blue with skin tones, that's very interesting! I know exactly what you mean about not thinking of the process and when people ask me how I do things I'm like UUUHHHHHH I DON'T KNOW hahahaha.

Oh, my God. I don't think my words will do justice, but this video was so so very useful...I've always for the longest time struggled with colouring in general, especially when it came to skin tones...it'd look too vibrant, unnatural, flat, etc etc...but after watching your video, I feel I've understood the colour theory (especially shadows) behind it much better- thank you so much! Your art is beautiful , you're a very talented individual.

I've learned a different way to do skin but might try your way to see which I like better :) I think the way you did darker skin looks really nice. I'm kinda worried because I use schminke and often use Naples yellow for my skin mix D: I didn't know there was a problem with this color but I don't find my skin mixes to be muddy so not sure.
