Part 8 is one of my favourite looks of Jason. Your tutorials are brilliant you don't have to spend silly money to make a very accurate movie costume. Bravo sir 🤘
This is obviously one of the harder costumes to replicate, due to a lot of exposed body, but you honestly did absolutely amazing and made it extra movie accurate.
I wouldn’t say it’s more difficult to cosplay but if you compare his $25.00 Part 7 Costume it’s a lot more damaged and heavily torn apart compared to his Part 7 costume, the outfit in Jason Takes Manhattan (1989) is a complete downgrade to Jacqueline Johnson and John Carl Buechler’s work on Jason’s physical appearance design in A New Blood (1988).

Nice touch with the "I love new york" mug. Part 6, 7 and 8 are my favorites and you make them look spot on. Also i actually have both versions of part 8 posters framed and on my wall along with part 7. Btw, uber Jason X or cyber Jason would be the ultimate challenge to make

I liked this film personally, I know its mostly on a boat but he just looks so cool and its interesting seeing jason in a different place other than camp crystal lake
Part 7 is my favorite friday the 13th other than part 4 but I do have a bit of nostalgia for it because it was the first one I saw other than freddy vs jason which I also enjoyed
Little tip…..when I did my part 8……to make the costume look wet, I used clear silicone mastic, with a tiny bit of green acrylic paint and it gave the shirt and trousers a great wet, slimy look!
@@CS5UNMASKED to be fair the method you used looks great, I just used what was available! Also, I was lucky enough to get the hockey mask copied from the movie mould! The part 8 mask is wider than the other masks …..But you could try heating your mask up a bit and then bending it slightly if you decided to give it a wider look for the part 8 mask! But all looks great buddy! ✌🏻
finally! I wanted to make a part 8 cosplay this Halloween (hopefully the covid 19 thing is solved by then) this was very helpful! I thinking of getting a hood from the devils latex and even though I made my own hock for Halloween I got a more accurate one for some comic cons, great video!! (Edit : I got a better hood from sculpt or die)

I dressed as Jason's mom at Comic Con in Monroeville convention center and absolutely no one got a clue that I was dressed as.☹ BUT I kept on trying it again, on December 2019, i found a guy that was dressed as Part 12 Jason! Was I excited? Of course I was! So go up to him, tap him on the back of his shoulder, he turns around and he was silent for a second or so, THEN THE BEST THING HAPPENED! He says to me, "Oh! Your dressed as my mom! I said to him, "YES I AM DRESSED AS YOUR MOTHER, PAMULA VOORHEES! Finally, someone recognized me that who I was dressed As! It made my day worth wild! So, with a few pictures with him, I was really happy. I actually got to see Kane Hodder AND the director of Friday the 13th Sean Cunningham. Double the excitement. I told Kane Hodder that I wanted to be In the next Friday 13th movie someday. So I told him, I don't want to Jason's victom... NO NO! I told him that I want to be Jason's bride! Then, I told him, the next Friday 13th movie should be called..... Friday the 13th: part 13, Bride of Jason. He absolutely loved my idea! lastly, Kane Hodder got up and hugged me, I didn't wanna let go of him at all. And for Sean Cunningham, I told him that Jason's head tilt was kinda cute! And I told him that I would do anything for Jason, giving him lots of TLC! Then Sean says, since you love Jason and want to care for him and everything, you can be Jason's guardian angel. I'm like, YES I WILL DO THAT! That day of Comic Con was a BLAST. I came home, went straight to bed, and I dreamed about being Jason's girl and his everything. And that's why I'm a Friday the 13th fan girl! The End. Lol ⛺🖤
Cs5 I like you but the Jason part 7 and Jason x you said you would do it Everytime but I dont see none I see how to make Jason mask part 7 but no costume of it
If ya take a heat gun to the masks front and back slowly heat them till plyable then press and hold it flat or run it under cold water while holding it you can widen the masks for the wider part 6 and 8 look. Thats what i do when im doin my movie accurate hocks.

I literally have a corner in my closet of just Friday the 13th stuff including a part 6 action figure, 2 full face jason hoods, part 5 and 6 hockey masks, clothes and accessories for being jason, and a foot tall action figure of part 3 jason. Hey CS5, Great video! Quick question, I'm replicating this and having some issues with using the rivet gun. What size rivets do you use? The largest I found at Lowes was 3/16th, and they seem too small for my holes from the previous rivets that were there before I took them out. I notice the holes you have in the mask are smaller than the other ones.. perhaps this is my issue, all of mine are the same size.

You can glue some thin layers of sponge on the inside of the neck if you want to prevent the fabric from wrinkling.
