When I got my MOPAR 5.7, during 2007, with an excellent driving record, I was 37 years old, and my insurance was very affordable. 2011 MOPAR EDITION CHARGER insurance was very affordable. 2017 6.2 SRT CHALLENGER, insurance was very affordable. I'm retired, with excellent driving history and excellent credit. I considered getting a new HELLCAT or REDEYE, but now the insurance is OUTRAGEOUS. The theft, the stupidity, and the negative reputation have taken me out of the MOPAR MARKET.

@@hanthony440 I hear you but it’s pretty hard when cameras are literally everywhere. I mean if he goes into a residential area nine times out of 10 people have ring cameras. If he’s in on the highway there’s not only cameras on major highways, but also plenty of people seeing him running. If he’s on the main streets where stores are most of them have cameras all around their perimeter. I hear you, but nowadays I doubt he’d be able to get away that easily. Not to mention, assuming the car isn’t stolen, they’ll have his address as well, the days of getting away from police simply by running are long gone. Running away from police is just never a good idea, period. You said he’s also blessed to be alive, I’d rather just say that God spared his life right there. To receive a blessing from God implies that He’s obedient to Him, which I’m not sure would apply here.

I dunno that sounds like a V6. A 5.7L gets the choking sound at around 5600 rpm. Even a 5.7L will spin and burn on that initial take off. Plus the way it handles the curb at 115 gotta be AWD. But the way the state trooper was able to hawk down the charger on an open straight gotta be a V6

When ASP puts out a video I look at the Lat and Long to see if it's close to 35.0 and 90.0. If it is, that means it's close to Memphis. The drivers are trying to make it across the bridge into Tennessee because sometimes ASP will call off the chase if the perp gets across state lines. Makes for a more exciting video to see if ASP can stop them.

I d on't know if anybody noticed why was he even being pulled over you could tell he wasn't going any faster than the traffic around him I think I see why the traffic stop was initiated I got a plate protector on my charger I'm former SWAT team officer here in North Carolina retired 2 years ago and we had this little Mayberry police force here in this town Hope Mills I was driving my cat left out of a store parking lot going about 35 miles an hour the blue lights hit me I pulled over the stupid rookie female officer gets out and says reason I stopped you was you got a plate cover over your license plate I do know that some plate covers are extra dark and should be illegal. But mine is only slightly tinted and offers plenty of visibility she was able to read my plate from her patrol car. I laughed at her and told her right off the bat go ahead and write my ticket because I knew I was going to make her look stupid in court I didn't even let her know I was a former officer that her Department had put me through the police academy in 2006. Well court day comes around I'm sitting right on the front row I see her go to walk into courtroom soon as she saw me she stopped turn back around and would not come in the courtroom I sat there the district attorney come over to me in a few minutes. Called my name and tells me what was the issue I'll let him know it was a plate protector showed him a picture let him know I was a former officer he said sir you're free to go I'm sorry about that. But I bet you that's why that officer was stopping the charger cuz he had a plate protector on his car. Which is pretty much a moot point because if somebody really wants to hide their plate they make those push button James Bond type plate covers for $50 on eBay LOL

@@motavated4912 I had a v6. It stopped feeding it gas at about 138. I had a charger. Did it many times. I have also had a rt and currently a scat. No governor. I actually tuned out the v6 governor using a Diablo tuner. But I didn’t have an all wheel drive so it’s possible it’s higher now. But I doubt it’s much higher.
