I discovered I Prevail recently and I've been loving their stuff. Been showing them to friends who don't really listen to scream to try and get them into the genre more.
Body bag is my happy place song. I get so much serotonin and dopamine from it, it's crazy. Learning the vocals in my spare time for the fucking fun of it.
Bro I cannot wait to be able to scream like this it's actually gonna be the peak of anything I'm gonna do and nothing is gonna be better. The screams are so fucking good I actually can't
@@charliewaterson8401 He is serving the band’s music. Show of a mature musician in my opinion. Even with guitarists and stuff, serving the song, serving the band’s music and not showing off for the sake of it is musical maturity.
i love I prevail but it's kinda sad that eric doesn't have much space to really show how good he can scream, dudes u should listen to the songs dead behind the eyes by oceans ate alaska and foe of the inhuman by brand of sacrifice and you'll hear some demon noises u never thought eric does it
Or just go see them live. Even in 2016 after I saw them live I had that thought of he holds back. Live he sounds like a demon straight from the 9th circle of hell. And this is coming from someone that’s seen, bad omens, born of Osiris, asking Alexandria more than I’d like to admit, BFMV, Periphery, thy art is murder, all that remains Killswitch, etc. Eric doesn’t hold back live and really makes the songs worth seeing live 💯
But also in their I Prevail's songs has very good screams...songs such like "Heart vs mind", "Face your demons", "Gasoline", "Already dead", "Bow down", & "Love, lust and liars.
Sooo, how does one scream like that? I’m not able to even remotely imitate screaming in music. It’s really annoying bc I want to sing along. I also have vocal cords dysfunction so I need to be careful about it. Any suggestions?
As with most new things, you will fail at first. So, you just gotta embrace that. Take your time, but stay consistent playing along to you favorite songs. Eventually it will click. Just like getting in a routine at the gym ya know?
I recently developed a machine thay stores live Beehives on my farm here in Florida. The Bees wpuldnt keep up with supply n demand so I turn machine on and what it does is shake the Beehives like a Paint Can Shaker. I have a remote so I can see the honey bees from a distance get so Mad but doing this results in MORE HONEY then normal. I have it patented so dont try and steel my idea
I wonder about the quality and energy overall of what we are consuming when we consume products that have provoked anger tied to them (unreasonable hours)... Or fear (paycheck to paycheck)... Imagine the feeling a regular diet of fast food (or commercial music) must leave us with...
I wish this serious actually told us how they do it. I push play hopeful… and am let down by the lack of actual technique. Obviously we all watch thinking our fave singer is going to tell us how to do it (so that we can too!). But nope. 🤦♂️
This is exactly how I got into metal. I Prevail and Eric’s screams
Yeah me too...the first METAL bands I got into was I Prevail, then BMTH and after Disturbed.
Check out A Day To Remember @@thursdayfivenine3106
I heard a lot of I Prevail‘s softer material on radio, but my friend just showed me Body Bag yesterday, and DAMN. Imma have to check out the album
You have to listen to “Choke”, “Visceral”, “FWYTYK” I jam those at max volume in my car 😂 I’m obsessed
Bow down, deadweight, gasoline, face your demons, the enemy, already dead, choke re nother heavy bangers you should check out too.
Gasoline. I heard that song and something clicked, I needed more. I'm in love with metal now.
Bow down and visceral another solid good songs too
I discovered I Prevail recently and I've been loving their stuff. Been showing them to friends who don't really listen to scream to try and get them into the genre more.
Nice...keep it up...lets show them that this kind of music can be 'enjoyable and great to listen to.
Have them check out Nothing More too. They just released a song today "House on Sand" that Eric is featured in.
I do the same thing
Body bag is my happy place song. I get so much serotonin and dopamine from it, it's crazy. Learning the vocals in my spare time for the fucking fun of it.
I haven't felt like this about a band since Linkin Park. I Prevail is hands down one of the best bands I've heard.
Exact my thoughts
Face your demons, Deadweight, Low, Bad Things, Gasoline, Scars, Let me be sad are olid bare solid bangers.
Bro I cannot wait to be able to scream like this it's actually gonna be the peak of anything I'm gonna do and nothing is gonna be better. The screams are so fucking good I actually can't
Seems like such a great guy
I always liked erics screams. He does hold back alot in IP tho
You should listen to death behind the eyes by oceans ate Alaska. He does not hold on that one
@@charliewaterson8401 oh shit nice.

If you want to hear Eric doing sick screams listen to Death Behind The Eyes by Oceans Ate Alaska
fucking love them. hikari is one of the best albums ever IMO
Their songs Bow down, heart v mind and face your demons shows his insane screams
Host looks 100% like matt tuck from bfmv. Now you cant unsee it your welcome 😂
Holy crap, 💯
I Prevail really got snubbed on the Billboard 200 chart when True Power debuted at #48 after I Prevail’s previous albums debuted in the top 15.
Might get hate but I like their older stuff more than their most recent album. Might be a factor.
@@TryhardEhdamn really I’m the opposite, true power is nasty imo
they are coming to my town next month and it says sold out but im still tryin to find tickets. seen them a few times but never can see them enough
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Eric needs a heavier side project. He's EXCELLENT in I prevail, it would just be cool to see him let loose and unleash all that potential

Love his screams he has a great voice wish he could show it off more

Could you get James Munoz of The Bled to do one of these?
Don’t forget the mustard shot
Ok so how did he learn it? Whats the technique??
They dont usually say on the how they learned to scream vids
You can’t teach it man, just find it…
Best I could say is act like your clearing your throat and bring it from your gut
Is Richard his real name? 👀
Yes
Cant hear him live
i wonder if Chester had any influence
I dont think that caus chester dont screams
Anyone who knows how to scream knows you just have to find it yourself, true unclean vocals just need to be found within yourself

good luck on the venture.
toilet bowl...I can dig it.
thank you jesus for letting this man outta the catholic school lol
I thought that was Pete Wentz at first
I like their vocals..just kinda dark lol
I got a decent set of unclean vocals and can say it took years to develop

Now all they need to do is stop using autotune🙄 still luv I Prevail tho 🤘
Aka How I learned to sound like shit! 🤣😂
Absolutely crap! Vocal...?
Hm
Screaming takes zero talent.
Good for you, youre wrong
You must be trolling? It’s literally not teachable so how is it trash. Try it yourself and I guarantee you don’t sound good
What's your talent? Being annoying in RUclips comments?
try to do metal scream, if it sounds like fuckin garbage and hurts you, it means that takes fucking talent to do it and you don't have it
