hey dude I wanna start learning any ideas on what I should learn first with cards I don't really know anything and don't have good control of cards at all?
@@CaamGamingTV you can start with learning some card shuffles, search for tutorials in youtube: riffle shuffle, one hand cut and any other shuffles. And 100% get original cards if you don't have already, do not hesitate on that.
Do it on the right surface. He's using a card mat which is perfect. They also spread moderately well over carpet. Don't try to spread those cards over a slick surface like a table top or desk top. You need something to grip the cards and just sliding your hand across it, it will practically do the work for you.
this is the second best trick you have ever posted!! right behind miracle with three cards!!! It can be performed to a single person, a camera, or a small group!! Thank you for the tutorials!!! btw your channel is the best for trick tutorials
Man, that was super clean. Could see you were doing a double lift, but apart from that I was totally lost. Your sleights are superb dude, I was burning the crap out of your hands and didn’t see much of anything.
That was awesome. Since I am a magician I figured it out but that was good. I saw you do a double lift then when you span the card I thought how is he spinning a double lift then I realized OMG he just flipped the king over.
"no sleight of hand needed" then a double lift and then slide the card slowly down and make sure they are perfectly squared up the whole trick. sounds like sleight of hand.
Another method of this trick that I like to use is to flip the card at the bottom of the deck so it looks like the top, so the spectator puts their card into the pile upside down compared to all the other cards (besides the one I just barely flipped of course) portraying the same effect, with less effort.
"There is no sleight of hand" *30 seconds goes by" "OK guys the first thing you need to do is force their card to the top" *Another 30 seconds later* "Then perform a double lift" *Another 30 seconds later* "Now spread the cards so they can't see the face up cards by making a clump in the middle" Still a good tutorial though
Hey I notice that in the tutorial, he taught about controlling the selected card, he put the selected card in the middle of the deck and put it back on top. But in the first part of the trick, (non-tutorial) it's a bit different.
OK, so in the "performance", you let them lose the card into a spread out deck, essentially ACTUALLY losing the card, so there would be no way to "control the card to the top", as suggested in the "tutorial." Clarity needed please ;)

Another method to use if you cant talk or even if you can but want to use another method is When you’re in this stage 7:00 Make it as if. The 3 of hearts is their card, place it in the middle, look at the spectator. And that allows them to look at you and shake their head saying “no”. Pause, as if you fucked up. But still looking at them. While you’re at it. Slide the card in. Then. Looking defeated, place the 3 of hearts back on top. And snap. Take your time. You want it to look as if you messed up, and they should be laughing/smiling. After snapping. The prestige. Show them that the card, actually flips itself in the middle of the deck.
Okay Im stopping this at 1:38 to tell you, that was VERY smooth. I did see the break, the double lift and your finger action, but only because I was looking for it. Very well executed. I don't think you needed to explain it first, just do the double lift and say "oh, this would be easy" and hide the card. But really, nice execution. Edit: I suppose the initial display to serve to show that nothing is packed in the deck beforehand.
I have a move I made called traffic control that’s main function would make the whole explanation / forefinger pull moot and looks a lot cleaner / removes the need to talk at all. Hmu if you wanna tut!
When I was a bit younger, I used to do a lot of card magic and was actually pretty good at it. I have since lost most of my magical abilities, I forgot a lot of the tricks and my sleight of hand became sloppy because I didn't practice anymore. If I wanted to, I could certainly pick everything back up again and with a little practice remaster the sleight of hand, but I simply don't have as much time or interest nowadays. However, one good thing about all this is that while I may have forgotten the overall tricks and lost my sleight of hand form, I remeber many of the techniques that magicians use in their tricks, and even though I no longer practice magic I am very good at deciphering a trick and figuring out how it was done, and I like to call out my friends and fellow magicians trying to fool me. In this case, it was pretty obvious to me what was going on. Still a good trick, just might want to make sure you don't fail that double lift.
