SYNOPSIS :
The protagonist of the film is a young artist (Balachandran Chullikkad) who lives with his father, a radical friend, a sportsman and a music-loving young woman. His world collapses when his father dies, the radical friend leaves him, the sportsman friend gets injured in an accident and has to give up sports and her family takes the woman away to another city. The final shot shows him curled up in foetal position in his cell in a mental asylum.

Balachandran Chullikkad told this in 2016, remembering Kalpana after her death : “That was in 1981, when she was just a small girl - must be aged 14 or 15. We did not have much dialogue. She was a beaming character and had a great sense of humour,” said Chulllikkad, who was the hero of ‘Pokkuveyil,’ in which she majored as a heroine. “Incidentally, in the film her parents Chavara V P Nair and Vijayalakshmi played parents to me. It was shot around the serene Sasthamkotta lake”
I was trying to search for the actress Vijayalakshmi who played as mother of Balu. She looked like Kalpana !.
She was Kalpana's real mother.

Aravindan. The great! incomparable! His movies chidambaram, esthapan thambu. Really great. The action of gopi in chidambaram is beyond comparison. No actor in Malayalam can perform such a role. Absolutely incomparable.

can you upload commercial movies in this quality?
It has to be restored by someone. These films are classical treasures hence it was carefully restored by National Film Archives from the film copy I believe.
@@meesund i heard that too. But there are some exceptional commercial movies with great content.it would be a fortune if they remaster movies like kireedam. Which is in very low quality even in amazon prime. But the negative will most likely doesn't exist.
