Soul Knight has a mode named "The Origin". In it you protect Magical Crystal and fight crazy amounts of monsters. I think this song is about something like that, guardians of temple with crystal protect it from dark forces. The drop is where main fight begins, but you know, evil was stronger (because it's theme, the drop sounds deadly and powerful).
At the end the mode crystal was broken by falling spaceship of invading alliens.
This how our story began...

This song almost tells a story. First, a god creates a crystal that when touched will create a crystal corruption, making the world sad and cursed. After that, Creatures start to thrive on the area. One day, the crystal is found and touched. It then corrupts and cursed the land. Century’s later, the land is restored and it begins to thrive. Then , the crystal reincarnates and then again is touched and the corruption is bigger, causing the world to be destroyed.
