I guess NASCAR feels it's better to have giant, outrageous priced super speedways at 1/4 capacity, then to run smaller tracks at reasonable prices at full attendance.
A lot of these tracks are closed due to legal battles (noise, ownership, environmental) And the cars, more often than not, get parked due to a death or bankruptcy, relatives bicker about custody, banks seize but don't (or can't) collect the car.
michael hall expecially since it is extremely good condition is mean the car could still fire and be used what is the point to buy one and just abandon it sell to someone that will use it
If newer rules and technologies passes it by and makes it not competitive or even a non-existent class anymore then it's in reality, only worth the scrap price of the materials to make it. I know. I've got two useless race cars in my pole barn. If I just cleaned them up and got them running again they would still be almost worthless oddities. Now that being said, i still wouldn't mind having one or two of them. But I'm the one with two race cars that haven't raced since the mid-80's. Go figure . . .
I am morbidly curious as to the circumstances behind the black LMP car. That looks like, at the least, a perfectly good chassis. It would take some deep pockets and passionate dedication but that seems like an aspiring hillclimb-racer's golden egg. Even if the engine is absent that just seems like too much potential to leave there. Really makes me wonder what happened...

OK. So I'm doing on NASCAR now. Its about NASCAR tracks. Especially the fantasy tracks. So here the question for anyone. Is there a such real track call Tiburon international Speedway? If so, could you give me the exact location? Please.
Based on my research as I love knowing what tracks they base the fantasy tracks off of. Tiburon is loosely based off Calder Park in Australia but I personally think it's closer to Bowman-Grey Stadium. Hope this helps.
I wanted one also , there are tracks that you pay a fee for a year and you could drive one of those , I just don't know where the cars are at, thanks for showing them

Heart breaking to see these cars and circuits... they deserve a better destiny than this.
